I remember way back in ’69 they predicted CA would fall off into the ocean. Had an exact day predicted and everything. So, of course, us being young decided to party that night at Vicki’s little apt – a little garage off on an alley that had been converted into an apt. Within a few minutes of the time we were all supposed to start swimming or die her whole apt began shaking horribly.
We freaked out. Turned out it was nothing more than a drunk person driving down the alley and running into her apt.

I did not discover PG Wide obsess so Sergio books until I was a mother of three. But when I did, oh my!!!! I read every one I could get my hands on. And then again and again, each book making me laugh even louder. Especially the Jeeves and Worster and Blandings Castle adventures.
There has never been any writer with the exquisite mastery of the metaphor as was Sir Peregrine.
For our granddaughter’s high school graduation this year we gave her something that will last her a lifetime. As I introduced her to these books and she adored them as much as I do, we gave her the gift of laughter…two substantial omnibus editions of the aforementioned titles.
It thrilled and gratified me that she was so excited and appreciative. She is already almost through one and keeps sending me screen shots of the passages which have tickled her the most…so I can laugh along with her.
For when in her life she may need to fall back and regroup, she has her Bible and her Book of Common Prayer (which we also gave to her), and these wonderful books so she can escape into a world long past (with a restorative cup of tea of course) and regroup.
Jewelry tarnishes, other gifts age,wither, and become lost but laughter never will.

Afternoon, dear Bet. We had a late thunderstorm here. Lots of rain apparently . . . I slept through the whole event, something that’s most unusual for me. Little ‘Tink forted up in her favorite hidy-hole only emerging when I finally got up . . . This has become a pattern of late.
‘Tink sits on *my* chair while I get the Bustelo going. Its a perfectly charming thing for her to do. Its as though she’s saving a place for me . . . Or she’s just impatiently waiting for me to finish with my stuff so I can tend to *her* stuff (i.e., empty food dish). Either way I get some of her best morning purrs. Still, I prefer to at least pretend on the former reason for her rapt attention. 🙂
After spending a lot of useless time finding that HVAC companies don’t work on window air conditioners I found that Appliance repair is the proper source. I made one short phone call, got an immediate appointment, went to lunch and the repair tech showed up at 1:00. Just try to get that kind of same day service from a generic HVAC company . . .

Israel Update:
I have too much to say for an update. So I will only post three things. Two are videos responding to VP Vance and one is an article by Dr Guy Bechor. One of the greatest experts on Middle East matters. He was right all along with his analysis and predictions for years, I have been paying attention to him for years. Everything he predicted happened including 10/7. So he gained my attention. I have to say that it’s not favorable and some will get upset so it may not be for you – the third link. .
As a note my response to VP Vance is much stronger than the video. I have a complete line by line answer to all his press conference but I can’t load here so many pages.

Trump recently repeatedly says that “without him there would be no Israel” (variations of this), he decided that HE is the one who will dictate the security, politics, decisions and future of the People of Israel and its leaders.
I will remind here that only God All Mighty decides the destiny of Israel. Historically Humans flesh and blood who attempt to take His place will be reminded very quickly who is the only boss on that matter.
God will make them crush very fast. Historically all US pressure to make Israel retreat from lands which were Israel in the Bible resulted in massive punishment very close in time. This is an astounding subject and I could list a few pages here. You can Google it. As a note Gaza and South Lebanon are a part of Biblical Israel and the Administration is now pressuring to retreat. I am not saying that those should be Israel in present time by the way.

Overall Trump has been great with Israel matters. I know there are several times where he has done the wrong thing, and they are at critical times. But overall, he has done well, especially in his first term. We should not forget this.
Going forward, I am not sure which way Trump will go on Iran. That’s his plan – to make sure no one knows his plans. I think in his heart he wants a free Iran, so I am going to hold onto some hope that he will get it done before the end of his term.

It’s been a while since I’ve commented. I think it is very healthy to question and dialogue. One can support a leader, and not agree with every detail or policy. I felt that way during the election – a choice between President Trump and Kamala Harris – was in my humble opinion – not even a choice. It felt… very much to me… a contrived and coercive movement to push the election in one direction – and identify the mentally ill among us. Harris, quite simply, was never an option… and President Trump was the only option that could make the 2nd amendment supporters stand down. (There, I said it.)
Do I trust President Trump, the man? Absolutely. Are there times I may not agree with him? Sure.
Do I trust the “seconds” that are all around him – the VP (who I don’t care what anyone says – I got it from party caucus – that the Veep is selected by the party) – hell no. Not just a little apprehensive – a definitive “hell no!”
He is contrived. Changed his name. Ron Howard created a movie for him to go along with his “book deal” (grift) and Peter Thiel of Panantir purchased Vance’s office with the single greatest campaign donation in American history. Also, his best buddy – Vivek Ramaswam(p)y – who J.D.’s son is named after is Hindi and Vance’s wife Usha is also Hindi (he himself called her his Spiritual guide) and he only converted to Catholicism when it was politically advantageous – just look at his wedding pictures (to the woman who he was set up with by his Chinese professor) – as well as his “late in the game” jump on the Trump Train.
Vivek took money from Paul & Daisy Soros (George’s brother) when he was independently wealthy and didn’t need the money! That means solidarity. Yet, I question Vivek’s wealth sources greatly with his little pharmaceutical research and development schemes.
All contrived.
Vance hated Trump. He still does – that leopard is not changing his spots. He is wicked and a fraud. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD – and those who are Spiritually awake can see the double-minded maneuvering. Vance is a weak, little boy, who is falling back on his “trauma” to advance a narrative – sound like anyone I know – (cough cough American educational system – with their trauma-induced “social emotional learning” – that keeps people weak and feeble minded!) And these feeble, weak-minded men – are often controlled by wicked women – like the same woman who rides the back of the beast in the Book of Revelation.
And that’s not a “blanket statement” on Hindi people. I have another dear friend to me, who is of Hindu lineage who is a Christian. These “faiths” – some would say “cults” – that threaten death upon any dissidents unless one bows to their gods of clay and stone – are demonic. Many would try to say Christianity is a “cult” but our faith does not condemn to death any who disagree – even our Lord God Himself gives the individual “free will” – and our people will continue to defend and protect despite disagreement – for we all pray for the return of people to God the Almighty who formed each person in their mother’s womb. And our God is one of “sound mind”, not hyperbole, mysticism, sorcery, and evil. Our God is The Protector of the innocents – and we as His earthly hands and feet – should be! Our God does not believe in a caste system – He believes in and gives freedom and equality – the equality not of equal “results” but of equal opportunity to strive and achieve. Unless you want to talk about Salvation – and then equal results are definitely within reach on the highest matter of personal importance!
Based upon the politics that I have been close to – our politicians are full-on demonic – trading our children, the safety of our American people, and our fiscal responsibility – and their stewardship of such – over to the devil for their own depraved gratification and pocket-lining. No longer is a politician a “servant leader” the way our forefounders intended. Our Constitution is exemplary – and it works – but only leading a God-honoring public. And we’re not talking their “gods” to whom they sacrifice our children.
Now, David – I want to be clear about something else – I can fully support a culture of people – and love them – and not agree with their leadership or the leadership’s manipulative tactics. I personally don’t think ANY country should be able to buy off our politicians. I don’t bulk all Israeli’s together, all Hindi together, all Iranians together – for we are all made in the image of God – the key is: Who do people worship and does their behaviors and policies infringe on my God-given right to freedom of speech and religion and to live peacefully among my American brothers and sisters?
You are right about something – anyone, and I mean anyone – who challenges God’s Sovereignty – will get absolutely spanked. One cannot look around this world – at God’s Creations and the wonders of His Inventions – and not believe in His Divine Nature. Too many miraculous things all around us. But if there is a pagan culture like that of Sodom and Gomorrah (and in many ways worse today) God Will hand that culture over to destruction.
We can learn this from reading 1 Samuel 16 – where Saul loses his anointing:
14 Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
15 Saul’s attendants said to him, “See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. 16 Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better.”
17 So Saul said to his attendants, “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.”
18 One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.”
19 Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.” 20 So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul.

I have a dear Iranian friend – one who knows the tyranny of the existing regime up close and personal.
1) This MOU was never going to work – terrorists don’t keep their word. It is why they are terrorists.
2) There are too many factions in Iran. The country is run by multitudes. Let’s just say there’s only five – you negotiate with one, it doesn’t mean the other four will fall in line. You’re dealing with just one head of the hydra. All the heads must go!
3) No Iranian civilian wants the USA, or anyone else for that matter, to give the regime money. The Iranians feel the wealth of the regime was stolen from the Iranian people and giving money back to the regime – or to support the regime – will not trickle down to the betterment of the civilian population. It will strengthen a terrorist regime that has proven its disregard for its civilians by way of full-on genocide. 40,000 people died in the most recent uprising – that’s not Tiananmen Square (200 to 2,700 deaths approximately) – that is a city erased.
4) You cannot negotiate with a lunatic or the criminally insane. There is no such thing as “coexist” with evil. None.
We are so much worse than Sodom and Gomorrah right now. It seems right that God, our Creator’s, patience is wearing thin. His book of Revelation, and the prophecies throughout the Bible, are being affirmed and fulfilled at lightening speed. It will not be the “end” for anyone except those who are in the evil camp. It will be horrible, but those who take refuge in Jesus under God’s Righteous Wing will be spared and will live eternally in Heaven with God, which will be brought down to the earth. God will live among us.
Come, Lord Jesus, come and spare the suffering of YOUR PEOPLE throughout the world. We want a return to Your Righteous order. In Jesus’s Name, AMEN
David, stay or go – but open discourse is the key that awakens peoples’ minds and I very much believe that The Lord can, and will, remove our hearts of stone and replace them with hearts of flesh. God Is Calling His children to return to Him. It is a mission field.

Trump must make a u-turn for the sake of us all. I understand Mid-term and oil prices but actions that will benefit the enemies of Israel will not pass like nothing. I don’t know if the cats sense something of unrest while I attempt to sleep – but they usually get up at least once in the middle of the night and the Alzheimer’s kitty gets “lost” and he “yeowls” — or he gets the mean “sundowners” and he goes after the others. I dutifully wake up, dreary eyed, and go and collect him and put him back in bed with me.
The others have mastered dealing with the cantankerous old fart. They simply submit and roll, and shelter him, or Harold will hiss at him and wake me up to lend assistance if he gets backed in a corner.
Harry’s big -but he will not fight anyone or anything – except spiders, and for that occupation – he gets special jerky treats. It’s good to have a job in this household.
The girls and Timmy will hem me in – one between my legs, another on the other side of my leg, and one by my head near my pillow. The pillow cat is Harold, the Maine Coon (but I think he’s really a Norwegian Forest Cat – they tend to live longer – so NFC, he is!!)
This morning, around 4 AM, Millie-Mouse-In-The-House, came up – all twenty pounds of her splendid self – and she lay down on top of my right arm as I was asleep on my stomach. She took her outstretched paws, and wrapped them gently around my hand – like she was holding my hand – and placed her head on my arm. What a little darling.
Truly, if I didn’t have these furry little creatures, I don’t know what I would do. They are the best, but geez… do we grow some big cats in my home! They are huge and rounding them up for a storm is like… well… errr…. herding cats!
I have two troublemakers of my own. They’re all over me, too.

Of my 8, 2 are hospice kitties with memory problems shall we say. “yeowl” is the perfect description of what they do multiple times a night. I can usually mollify them with food or drink, but not for very long! I will love them till the end.

Such a gift our little elders are. I was on a video conference with my heart180.com group today for their Father’s Day offering (combating estrangement) and our elder boy, Timmy, must love the voices and the prayers throughout. He climbs on my lap and settles in and makes himself a “part of it”.
I had to start taking food away from him at night – because I think he forgets to stop eating – overeats – or doesn’t swallow correctly and gags – and then – quite literally – blows up everywhere. It is so disheartening as he becomes more emaciated to see that he’s losing what little nourishment he can retain.
They are most expensive with the supplementation of the wet food – but I purchase the Petco Whole Hearted and our vet just raves about the health of our beauties. But we are talking $3 a day on wet food alone (2 – 5.5 oz cans shared between them) and a 12# bag of cat kibble (salmon and chick pea) is $33 – with 4 cats – it adds up. The wet food LOOKS like real food and it cracks me up watching the kitties eat the green peas and chunks of pumpkin – they love it. Good stuff. Tim’s turning 15 in July and still clear-eyed and tries to play. As long as he’s willing to live – I am willing to give him all the loves and cuddles.
I can’t even imagine your day to day stewardshp – but I totally understand why you do it. I sometimes like animals more than people.

COMMENTARY FOR JOHN 15:20
Christ the true Vine. (1-8) His love to his disciples. (9-17) foretold. (18-25) The Comforter promised. (26,27)
18-25 How little do many persons think, that in opposing the doctrine of Christ as our Prophet, Priest, and King, they prove themselves ignorant of the one living and true God, whom they profess to worship! The name into which Christ’s disciples were baptized, is that which they will live and die by. It is a comfort to the greatest sufferers, if they suffer for Christ’s name’s sake. The world’s ignorance is the true cause of its hatred to the disciples of Jesus. The clearer and fuller the discoveries of the grace and truth of Christ, the greater is our sin if we do not love him and believe in him.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

In My Humble Opinion
Treepers fill the OT days with leaves and flowers of joy.
We accept but may not understand the effect of interactions with
God
Cats
Dogs
.. to limn just a few
We love and accept them – enjoy being ‘bossed around’
And yet .. we seem not to lend the same privilege to our VSG P DJT (to steal an abbreviation from Trump’s first presidency).
And yet .. to me, the parallels are many.
As God, children and animals enter our lives, they effect permanent changes IN US. We accept these changes without noticing our adaptations to our new lives and outlooks.
President Trump and His Team affect our lives in much the same way. The opinions and comments we observe tell us how their lives are being affected. The more rabid the rant I assume greater affect.
I put aside words like: good, bad, right, wrong, beneficial or evil.
Simply put .. I accept that President Trump is forcing permanent changes in all our lives. .
And
I Trust Trump

O Glorious St. Anthony,
you live now in unity with Jesus Christ,
the Divine Physician and the healer of all human ills.
I come to you today to ask for your powerful intercession
on behalf of B’s beloved spouse , Hubby
who seeks to be restored to good health.
The years they have shared,
and the love they have known,
is precious to her,
and her heart breaks in her helplessness.
But I believe that with the Lord all things are possible.
Compassionate Saint,
comfort her in her distress
and obtain blessings for her beloved spouse
so that Hubby may be quickly and completely restored to health.
Amen.
Deep cleaned my gas grill this morning.
Sprayed the stuff on and let it set. Wiped it off with paper shop rags.
Sprayed it again and let it set. Took grates and IR diffusers out.
With sponge and water wiped all treated surfaces down twice!
Wire brushed grates and diffusers then washed them off.
Then put grates and diffusers back in the grill and fired it up. Turned it off after the temp reached 450 deg.
After this break I’m going to put blinds up in the two windows in the new garage after vacuuming the dead flies and cob webs out of the inside frames.
rah, what’s “IR” regarding the diffuser?
They make gas infrared grills. The grilling grate sits in a corrugated panel with slots. Supposed to provide superior distribution of the cooking heat and prevents flare ups.

If anything – one thing we can attest to – is that all this transparent political maneuvering being facilitated by our President Trump – is revealing who the demons are.
