The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
Day 149 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius. History is being made in the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2026.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

There has not been a single recess appointment for Pres Trump.
Nor for Biden. Only President before Trump who never had recess appointments was the one that died after a month. Harrison.
Obama had 32. But that stopped after a 2014 Supreme court decision that required a recess be at least 10 days.

Democrats have used it against Biden, but they have only controlled the Senate for two years since that ruling.
(Not sure about the last few months of 2014 against Obama while Democrats still held the Senate.)

Democrats under Harry Reid originally perfected the use of pro forma sessions in 2007–2008 to block President George W. Bush from making recess appointments. Republicans reversed the tactic in 2011–2012, using the House’s power to deny the Senate adjournment to force pro forma sessions and block President Obama. The Supreme Court ruled unanimously in June 2014 that Obama’s attempted recess appointments during these pro forma sessions were invalid because the Senate was technically still in session.
Note that there are hints that there is more still hidden. If Harry Reid perfected it, who first used it?
Also note that the House was able to force the Senate’s hand on these pro-forma sessions. Also it left out 2013-2014.
A possible work around…..get Johnson to call a recess…Senate must agree or disagree, if disagree then it would be up to the President who could call a recess.

It is across the way from the heel of the boot of Italy – you know, where Padre Pio was in the monastery at the Giovanni Rotondo in the spur of the boot, across the way from that. Mother Teresa was from Albania. It was and perhaps still is one of the poorest nations in Europe after being under Communist control after WWII, I think for about 50 years.
In the 1990’s, there was a terrible situation where crooks took advantage of the people there with “pyramid schemes” that sent the country into a very dangerous turmoil. Now the people are angry at their PM for allowing the Kushners to proceed with this project, putting up a barbed wire fence and expelling protestors. Who is the PM to hand over this that belongs to Albania, for the environment to be devastated and the habitat for various species of birds and other animals to be endangered, hence the flamingo becoming a symbol of the protest.
Just WHY do they HAVE to pursue this? Poor old Billy Carter and his misadventures. The Rodham Brothers and their various capers, like trying to corner the hazelnut market. Why must Ivanka and Jared have to cause an actual international furor which does our country no good and I don’t see how it helps America First, MAGA or her father; just one more stupid and unnecessary display of vanity on their part. In fact, I think if there are any nefarious plans afoot to set up a “Color Revolution” scenario, this could happen.
I do know one thing, when they finally make a movie about Jared and Ivanka, Gwyneth Paltrow should have the role of Ivanka – she has the cringe.

I am placing this here in the presidential thread and consider it on topic though I first posted it on the open thread. It is an example of the damage our nation has sustained and the need to get judges that bring justice. Consider it a prayer request.
There is a court case today. It is for custody of a young girl. Mom desires and needs full custodial rights and supervised visits. Dad, unfortunately has gone off the deep end and is living life as a lie (woman). This deranged man is also demanding support from mom’s income, which she only now has because she had to leave him to support herself since he lost his job. He is claiming that she must support him financially while he goes to university. Such selfishness. All the grandparents are aghast at the situation. This young man had a good upbringing too. He became depressed, went to an Army provided “counselor” a few years ago and was doing online gaming and now is demonically ill and wrecking multiple lives.
It is expected that there will be shared custody but my prayer is that the judge will allow divine justice to be on display in that courtroom. I am guessing this is happening in more than one courtroom in our nation this day, perhaps with some small details altered.
The prayer is for righteous judgement in our courtrooms even if must come from our corrupted judges and systems.

Over the past 45 days, while the Iranians fiddled around with the Strait of Hormuz, their customers became aware that they could buy the same quality and quantity of oil from the USA and / or other mideastern countries who don’t have to go through the Strait of Hormuz.
So, just by changing their purchase orders, the customers could avoid the Iranian’s threats of death / destruction, high tolls and high Loyd’s of London insurance rates.
That was a no-brainer for the Iranian’s oil customers.
They just sent their tankers to a new address to pick up their oil.
You have seen the tankers moving from the middle east to the Gulf of America or Alaska. No problem with extra tolls, being shot at or paying high insurance rates from Lloyd’s of London.
That move also gave President Trump complete control of the USA’s price of gas at the pump.
The threat to the mid-term elections for the Republicans just vanished.
In fact, don’t be surprised to see some subpar $1.00 / gallon prices this fall.
