We are aware of a video circulating in relation to the conduct of two enforcement officers. Swift action was taken as soon as the incident and complaint were raised to us and Kingdom in May, and the individuals involved no longer work for Kingdom.

I was checking Google Maps status of the “Major General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben Statue” in “Lafayette Square” (across the White House) and it is listed as closed business and at the wrong location (a modern house ) . The only statue that Google Maps shows correctly is the “Major General Marquis Gilbert de Lafayette Statue”. The other three statues are also missing. I found out that it has been broken since 2021. I am trying to get the “Major General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben Statue” issue fixed and will try to get the other three fixed. If you put these Coordinates 38°54’00.1″N 77°02’15.8″W into Google Maps you will see the correct location of the “Major General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben Statue” and that only the “Major General Marquis Gilbert de Lafayette Statue” is shown. The other three missing statues are of U.S. President Andrew Jackson (center statue), Major General Comte Jean de Rochambeau, and Brigadier General Thaddeus Kosciuszko. It’s interesting that the park was named after Major General Marquis Gilbert de Lafayette yet U.S. President Andrew Jackson Statue was placed in the center of the park.

Thanks! I found out why it’s “Lafayette Square”. The park was named after Lafayette in 1824 prior to the statues. Andrew Jackson was the first statue in 1853, followed by Lafayette in 1891, Comte Jean de Rochambeau 1901, Thaddeus Kosciuszko 1910, and Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben 1910.

Major General von Stueben was super critical. More so than Major General Lafayette and the other Generals who have statues in the park. Without Major General von Steuben it’s highly possible the Patriot Army would have totally collapsed at Valley Forge. Of course erased from academic history.

The United States agrees to allow Iran to dilute its stockpile of highly enriched uranium on Iranian soil under a future comprehensive agreement.
Iran’s nuclear programme, uranium enrichment activities and mechanisms for handling its stockpile of highly enriched uranium would be negotiated within 60 days of the memorandum and addressed in a final agreement. (back to JCPOA with IAEA monitoring?)

Sorry, it’s simply a continuation of the European martial arts practiced for over a thousand years, but largely overlooked when the oriental versions became culturally dominant in the Sixties (though they themselves had a similar lengthy pedigree).
The European variant was itself a distillation of many different styles and, as the remaining manuals suggest, was primarily incorporated into fighting with some form of weapon, but could be used, in extremis, if the user was unarmed. This is similar to the oriental weapon katas and made fighting men, especially knights, incredibly dangerous and resourceful opponents.
Hollywood has conditioned us to think of European armed combat as orientated around the weapon, but as any practitioner of fighting knows the weapon is simply an extension of the wielder. I used to fence, both foil and sabre, where any non-blade contact was strictly forbidden, but there were so many times in a match I could have gone for an elbow jab, head butt, trip, punch, backhand or pommel strike.

I would also note that almost half of all jobs are created by small businesses, not the very large businesses. In regards to new job creation, from 2013 to 2023 they created 55% of all new jobs per BLS.
