The one argument that I didn’t hear the prosecution make was, “If Karmelo went into Memorial’s tent to get out of the rain and was told to leave, why didn’t he try the next team’s tent, which was just a couple of rows away?”
If you’ve seen the aerial photos, there was another tent (actually, they’re awnings open on all sides over a section of stadium bleachers) nearby.
Karmelo’s attorney argued that the bleachers were public, so Karmelo could sit anywhere he wanted, including under another team’s tent. Common sense would argue that he should have just looked for another tent.

I’m so glad I didn’t see this before my son in law underwent his liver transplant at Southwestern in Dallas. I learned much later…and to my shock…that his whole team and that of his donor were from India.
I must be fair here…the operation was smooth with no after effects, and he continues to thrive. Deo gratias 🙏🏻

When my husband who underwent successful open heart surgery to correct a previous surgery …. eh hem… read this in a tweet earlier this morning, we both looked at each other, knowingly.
God saved my husband’s life and guided the surgeon who corrected the … previous … surgery.
I know my son in law and daughter…and specifically the man who stepped up to volunteer to be a living donor and who went through a gruelling year with my Sil for the final consent for the procedure to be given, only to receive word four hours before the operation that another donor had been found ( God bless this man’s grieving family for the life saving gift they allowed)…saw the hand of God.

Transplant teams respond to a higher authority regarding the procedures so they are determined to not have anything go wrong…and must be a 20 on a scale of 1-10 perfection.
Aggie, he was on his way for a first transplant when he was called and told to turn around and go home.
This was the second try, an unexpected offer by a live donor who realized he was a blood match and said to his wife, “It’s supposed to be me.” I could weep thinking about this Christian man’s offer. He put his life and his willing family’s lives on hold for over a year..you know the excruciating road to get to the actual transplant.
We were so relieved for him that at the very last minute he was spared the agony of the surgery and the recovery time. We knew instantly the same God who spared Isaac.
All the stars lined up for this. There is never a day we aren’t grateful nor forgetful of the man and his family from whom a second chance at life came.
I am glad the surgery was succesful!

I don’t know what is worse, the design, procedures and objectives of allopathic medicine, or quality of the medical professionals/doctors that practice it.
I have had zero faith in the former ever since both of my parents died of a combination of over-zealous diagnosis, unnecessary invasive treatment and negligent care. I have been convinced for decades that Rockefeller’s AMA was originally designed to cull the population and simultaneously create tremendous wealth for the industry, by creating a cycle of recurring treatment protocols, coercing patients into it, and having most of them cause more harm than good, case in point radiation and chemo for so-called cancer. Add in the insurance layer that eliminated any price or volume sensitivity from patients, and the cost in dollars and lost health is monumental.
At least 30 years ago, the doctors were somewhat well-trained and competent, but now with all of these sub-standard imports, seeing a doctor or having a procedure is now tantamount to Russian Roulette.
I never go to the doctor, but I monitor all of my vitals on my own, BP, Cholesterol, Sugar, Uric Acid, and just eat fresh food. I tell my family I will likely “go quickly”, but hopefully not for a long time.

I have always thought that early voting just helps the cheaters. It gives them a solid gauge on what they will need to win and allows them to pre-prime the manufactured ballot pipeline. Same day voting throws them into a tizzy as they have to scramble to create large numbers of ballots after the election is over. It won’t stop the cheating, but it forces it into the open much more. Trump won 2016 on same day turnout that no one expected. They simply could not overcome that. It’s since been fixed for them with endless voting before, during, and after elections.
The real problem is, no government LE agency seems too interested in vote fraud. Lots of pandering and stroking Trump like a housecat, but if no federal LE is willing to go after the open-air, large-scale cheating, all of this is pissing in the wind. My personal view is that the cheating is government sanctioned, so I have no expectation that it will be significantly stopped. I hope I am wrong.
If SCOTUS actually follows the Constitution and says all ballots must be received by election day, then a lot of the shenanigans of late drops will be shut down immediately.
As you say, if there is no possibility of creating new mail-in votes after the fact, in order to override day of, in person votes, they will have to be much more obvious in their methods and it will be much easier to catch the cheating!
It’s not the end-all be-all solution but will be a huge step in the right direction… wonder if the Lefties on the court are slow walking their dissent, yet again?

Another strategy they use is to frame all articles (and news broadcasts) as if situations are a competition between President Trump and the other person/entity involved. Their goal is to keep us from understanding it’s our skin in the game.
In reality, we the people are the ones affected by what the President does. If they presented articles from that perspective, we would immediately realize our future is on the line.
But framing everything as a competition between the President and others goes a long way to turning the issue into a sporting event where people see themselves on the sidelines.
One way to actively support the President’s work for us is to keep our attention focused on how something will affect us and encourage other people to do the same.

Pratt’s campaign looked more like a bait move, designed to force the Democrat Party and enablers to activate their voter fortification strategy to stop it developing impetus over the summer, after a second place finish. He’d never beat Bass in the first round, but in the second, who knew, and the Socialists are in a zero risk game.

I’d guess the DOJ bear traps were placed months before and then it was just a question of waiting for the fraud to follow it’s predictable route.
Remember, they only need to prove electoral fraud once, for the whole edifice of lies to start to topple. The first indicators will be a circling of the media wagons, claiming this is simply a Trumpian vendetta against the forces of democracy, then the phased retreats, and tactical silences, as more evidence is presented.

When I was working CA Department of Corrections, I had an inmate worker who had done time in New York, Michigan, Texas, and finally California. All for burglary. Easiest time=California. Hardest time=TEXAS. He told me it wasn’t close………Texas was now a no go state for him in terms of his profession.

Something I’m pleased with from President Trump and his admin (specifically Tom Homan) is that after being away from home in Az for the last 13 months is just how many illegals/trespassers are gone, whether through getting caught or self-deporting. Traffic is so much lighter (lighter being a relative term for Phx area traffic), convenient stores, gas stations, retail stores, restaraunts, etc are all less busy. I’ve heard complaints it’s harder to get a landscaping company out to do work. Those left are probably overwhelmed with business and have longer waits.

Being under 18 eliminated the possibility of the death penalty. SCOTUS has ruled that people convicted of crimes committed when they were minors cannot get the death penalty, even if they’re over 18 by the time of the trial.

I agree with Beck here: the government has no business in dipping into theological topics about whether or not a religion is Christian or not. Why one part of government thought it a good idea to do this is just dumb.

WASHINGTON – The Pentagon has revamped a list of religious faiths and traditions it uses to provide services to military members after Mormon Republican lawmakers blasted the agency for not classifying the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Christian.

That was the correct solution. Before they changed directions, I was baffled that they classified Jehovah’s Witnesses as Christian but not the Mormons.
Karmelo will no doubt file an appeal, and one argument would be the exclusion of three prospective black jurors who were all teachers. These were not the ones with excuses like they couldn’t put a “brother” in jail. The disqualification for these three was their occupation, not their race.
The prosecutor will probably argue that it was coincidental that the three were black, but the three were dismissed because it was likely their constant contact with students could lead them to, “Well, teenagers go get into fights, and things can get a little out of hand. Boys will be boys, especially the athletes. A tragedy for both families….” reasoning.
There were two Asians, an Hispanic, and a woman in a hijab on the jury, so there was diversity.

It’s not what you think. Read up on the Senate rules, all of the power is with the Majority Leader. The President of the Senate can’t to very much. I think there may be a few useful procedural things but it’s not clear. He might be able to stop these Pro Forma sessions or maybe stall some votes, but no real power.
I think if shoe were on other foot the Dems would figure out something effective. I’m no expert but I do feel the Dems play hardball while Reps continue to sit in the corner and count their money.

The role is mostly procedural. The VP does not introduce legislation or participate in debate, but does get the tie breaking vote. The Senate Majority/Minority positions didn’t come into being until ~1930, and Senate rules have been sidelining the VP ever since. Early Vice Presidents were quite active in the Senate.

I’m just going to share this. As “War” becomes ever more probable. I want you to simply review the first five minutes or so. Maybe you remember these times. Or, maybe you should . . .
Family member was a veteran of the Pacific Theatre. He spoke a little of his combat time. Before I repeat his words he suffered severe PTSD. Any loud noise in the house would trigger rage and violence. His first born son bared the brunt of the violence. Kids are noisy. There is no parenting skill learned in combat with the Japanese but that is exactly what was happening in his home. His combat experiences were bleeding into his parenting if not dominating his parenting.
The few words he spoke are a flash in the combat timeline in the Pacific. He stated the Japanese tasted like fish because their diet was fish. He was consuming the Japanese he killed and others that happened to be close to him. Whatever the reason for carving off chunks of human flesh to eat it stopped his ability to think human thoughts. I don’t believe it was survival. I believe he was a killing machine disassociated from humanity because he wasn’t going to get out alive.
