Sure is rather quiet on the Iranian “negotiations” front 🙂
I suspect that Trump’s patience is rice paper thin. And that he is even now getting ready to tell the Saudis, Pakistanis, Qataris, and other Gulf states that have been PLEADING with him to find a diplomatic off ramp — that he’s done with the mullahs and is about to launch Epic Fury Part 2.
Both sides have set their limits….the least they are willing to accept…perhaps we are getting close? I mean, in more ways than one, we have the Trump Card.
Iran just cutoff negotiations, due to Israel’s attacks on Lebanon. I find it hilarious that Iran’s proxy in Lebanon could violate the ceasefire all it wanted, but it’s Israel’s responses to those attacks that were the violation.

Frankly, I’m getting tired of the President trying to deal with these bastards as if they’re rational humans.

I’m fairly certain that he knew exactly what and whom he was dealing with from the get go and understood that this was the most likely outcome. Again I ask, because my sometimes confused mind cannot understand this, how can Iran block or close the Strait of Hormuz? What can they possibly do that the USA military in all its force over there, cannot stop immediately? Why can’t the USA escort these ships out of the strait?
I know insurance is a big deal, but I thought the USA was going to insure those ships who have insurance cancellations so they can move out. Wasn’t that the deal where the US went around the London banks and insurance big wigs to get this done? I have not read or heard any more about that and wonder if the US backed off on the insurance. The US military was also clearing mines last I read and shooting any boats trying to put more down in the Strait.
So, what is the reason the Iranians can threaten to shut down the Strait, no ships are really moving through and the Iranians are holding this over the US as if they have the cards to do so of which we have been told they don’t have any left really. Just more propaganda and blustery rhetoric?
Pres. Trump says he’s in no hurry and things are going well. I’m still trusting him and his plans. I think the biggest thing that bothers me is the upcoming elections and the fact it looks like Irans plan is to keep stalling in order to get to the Nov. elections where they hope—or were told by the democrats— Trump loses and then he is handcuffed in his ability to do things. Times growing shorter in the march to the midterms.
They are truly dreamers! Their God is not coming to rescue or to start the end of civilized humanity. He does not exist! The Lord God is the only God! He tells us how this all ends. He does everything he said none of what the dreamers are wishing for to justify their murder etc….

Is anyone keeping track of the number of times that judges have blocked President Trumps EOs or implementation of some policy.
I don’t recall our Republican leadership making any statements against judicial overreach. That’s probably because they are OK with it because it helps keep President Trump and the MAGA movement in check.
We definitely have a Constitutional Crisis happening in our country including all three branches of government and the Establishment media.
They block things because no one shoves their decisions right back in their face legally and immediately after their ridiculous rulings. I get it that a lot of these decisions are to delay as long as possible the inevitable and throw road blocks into any plans the administration puts into action, hoping to stop things until President. Trump is handcuffed by the midterms or finishes his term.
Enough is enough though. Somewhere the reality of telling these judge ‘ Not happening, judge’ is going to have to be done I think. It’s getting really out of hand. How can a judge think they can run the military for goodness sakes.

I have noticed a significant level of worry in comments sections and articles second guessing Trump, his statements and his policies; while this is a legitimate reaction as there is no question that we are at an existential moment in the history of our country, much like the angst felt in a hospital waiting room wondering if the patient that you know and love is going to make it, I would like to offer some thoughts for your consideration.
Please don’t make the same mistake that I made in 2016, when I dismissed him because in addition to certain statements and actions of his past, he was all over the map and could not be pinned down on anything. It seemed his favorite position was both sides.
I took this as him being unprincipled, and I could not have been more wrong. As my political lodestar is the Declaration and Constitution, I support the candidate who gets me closer to those, not the person for the person’s sake. Once, he proved he was all in on America, I was all in on him.
In reality, what I learned is that you cannot get caught up in what he says at all; that nobody really knows for certain what he means, or what he is going to do, and this is in fact his most effective attribute because by the time the enemy finds out what his plan is, he is already defeated. So don’t let the articles, comments, and psywar get you down.
That may be a little nerve racking for us to watch from the sideline, but I just look at what he has been able to accomplish so far with all the nodes of power working against him. Stop for just a moment, close your eyes, and consider all the people, all the raw power, and all the institutions fighting him. While it might make us feel better to have someone with the absolute clarity of Reagan—someone perfect for his time—in today’s strategic environment President Trump and his utter ambiguity is exactly what we need in this time.
Stay the course, Trust in Trump, God’s got this.

This is obvious but the opposition pretend it isn’t to stir up hate, controversy and assassination attempts.
But he is also a BIL-lionaire, and an honest(!!!) one. He is an expert at psychology, as well as his chosen profession of real estate and property renovation. Yes, he speaks in a way that puts you off your guard. But he is never lying to you. When a crooked court tried to frame him for fraud, many bankers stood there and said that they would gladly do business with him again. If he had been a fraudster, they would have been plaintiffs.

It is now perfectly clear that “Lawfare” must be stopped. The jurisdiction of a “Federal regional court” must be explicitly stated. It is clearly “not enough” that the SCOTUS has already “ruled” on this matter.

When you read this article about the criminal gang supporting Ilhan Omar, you have to conclude there is something wrong here. The definition of a Ponzi scheme is promising returns for investments but never generating any money other than from other investors, and using even more investors to pay off the first investors until the money finally dries up.

The United States is rediscovering its native political economy: strategic protection for key industries, public backing for national development, and finance aligned with national strength rather than with the abstractions of borderless efficiency. Kevin Warsh is attempting something parallel at the Federal Reserve. His call for a new Treasury, Fed accord and a smaller Fed balance sheet points toward a more Hamiltonian vision of public credit, and, in a deeper sense, an effort to undo William McChesney Martin’s betrayal of Harry Truman.
Truman called Martin a traitor when the Fed chairman prioritized monetary independence over financing national strategy. What Martin enshrined as central-bank independence, Warsh seems to treat as a historical deviation from the older American tradition in which public credit served national power.
The last time the United States operated on anything like this logic at full scale was during World War II, when Washington treated steel, shipping, energy, logistics, and capital allocation as parts of one integrated national mission. That, not laissez-faire mythology, is the real American precedent for national power in an age of danger.
The world woke up when President Trump launched Operation Epic Fury and Operation Absolute Resolve. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz then made the lesson impossible to miss: resource security is not a seminar topic but the hard foundation of state power. Once one of the world’s critical energy choke points was effectively shut, the entire fantasy that advanced economies could float above geography, production, and force collapsed in real time.
That is why leaders across the West, Mark Carney included, are drifting toward the language of resilience, industrial capacity, and strategic autonomy.
Yet America retains the decisive advantage. Coupled with Canada and Venezuela, the Americas are becoming the center of resource security. The United States sits at the heart of that system as an energy superpower, with the oil, gas, capital, and industrial base to turn strategy into production. Europe lacks that foundation. China cannot trust its access to it.
Bessent did not merely defend a policy mix. He announced a return to an older American statecraft: Clay at Treasury, Hamilton at the Fed, and the American System back at the center of national strategy.
