Annapolis, MD – In response to today’s reports and news about mail-in ballot errors, Maryland Republican Party Chairwoman Nicole Beus Harris issued the following statement:
“Early this afternoon, we were notified by informed voters and candidates of cases of mail-in ballots being incorrectly delivered to voters of the wrong party affiliation.
It is still unclear, from statements and conversations we have had with the Maryland Board of Elections, how expansive this problem is or how this could have happened. We are calling for full transparency regarding the mistake, the corrective action, and most importantly— how our candidates can be assured that every legal vote will count come June 23rd.”
You know I don’t even want to read about it. Send all problems to Thune, per McConnell, as they’re the reason along with other senate members that problems are happening.
If you repeal the 17th Amendment and establish voter integrity, all the Thunes and AOCs will be gone within 2 years.
I never understood how repealing the 17th Amendment would fix any problems when the state legislatures are just as bad as Congress…like Indiana? 😎

The 1.8B “Anti-Weaponization Fund” [2] will have the power to issue formal apologies and monetary relief owed to claimants. Submission of a claim is voluntary.
There is legal precedent for such a Fund, most notably the “Keepseagle” case where the Obama Administration created a $760 million fund to redress various claims alleging racism against the federal government over a period of decades.
In Keepseagle, hundreds of millions of dollars remaining in the fund were distributed to non-profits and NGOs that never made claims, whereas any money remaining in The Anti-Weaponization Fund will revert to the federal government. The Obama DOJ settled by putting $680 million from the judgment fund into a bank account for a single claims administrator to dole out. In Keepseagle the remaining money—which ended up being over $300 million—was distributed to the entities that had not even submitted claims.
The Fund will consist of five members appointed by the Attorney General. One Member will be chosen in consultation with congressional leadership. The President can remove any member, but a replacement must be chosen the same way as the replaced member was selected.
Litigation expected.

Got a guilty plea from the person on the ground doing the dirty work… but who paid her to get all the illegal ballots? She was paying homeless people to register to vote so she could collect ballots…. been doing it for twenty years… no mention of prosecutors going up the chain.
