~Yes something was very odd yesterday. Trump went on a stream of posts of how the Iranians “agreed to everything” and it was simply not true. There is no sugarcoating it. They practically blocked the Straits and fired at a few ships. Their leaders were mocking Trump and indicated willingness to fight.
The question is why did he post those things? And this goes back to another update of mine where I said that someone is giving him false information and it’s either his team (JD Vance, Witkoff, Kushner) , the mediators (Pakistan), or the Iranians themselves. I also heard another theory of an Israeli expert and he said that the situation revealed that in Iran the IRGC are in power and the Political level is under them. The IRGC are also in the ear of the Supreme Leader if he is up to it. The IRGC are fanatics.
Last that I put his team in the “suspect list” I was attacked. But I listed the options and the good thing about it all is that now he knows. He knows exactly who misled him.
I am usually trying to be factual and not introduce too much speculation but this situation is a tough one.
I truly believe that we are witnessing a Biblical situation and something similar to the story of Exodus.
“And God hardened the heart of the Pharaoh”. And “the plagues”. The first one was the worst one when we killed their entire leadership and the last one was “The Blockade”. And it seems to me not done.
Now Trump did two things that give me a clue:
One is a post Super Pro – Israel that I posted. And one is a video that shows the US helping the Iranian protesters. In addition there is a high US air traffic to the Middle East.
Also today there was a meeting of Trump and the VP and the Sec of State and Sec of War and the Head of the US Military and CIA director, etc.
To me it looks like the sudden appreciation of Israel may relate not only to the past but maybe a future plan. Maybe Mossad is now activating the regime change plan. We may see a second wave of assassinations. And yes the appreciation was also for helping with the rescue of the American Navigator, etc… I am sure that Trump was involved and saw first hand the Israeli help. I know for a fact that our people treated it as if it was an Israeli Airman.
The US George Bush massive Carrier is now at the Red Sea and is getting closer to Iran.
This War is not over! Historically a blockade is a part of a war, it is not an end of a War. We are mid a blockade. Like the Romans who used to surround cities before the major attack.
~On another note. In Lebanon we are holding a 10KM buffer zone along the border. That zone will be demolished and anyone entering it will be entering a kill zone. This is the same as in Gaza. But the area between the buffer zone and the Litani is not certain. We have bad experiences with ceasefires mid progress. It really endangers the troops. A few decades ago we had bodies of two IDF soldiers in Gaza kidnapped into a tunnel after a massive ceasefire violation and casualties. This traumatized the nation. And there are more examples. Even the previous round against Iran ended with a mass casualty event just before the ceasefire started.
Yesterday we had an explosive killed one and injured 5 of which one badly. We do not know if it was a violation of the ceasefire, probably not so we didn’t respond. And today another event. A D9 Bulldozer went on a massive explosive and 1 killed and 8 injured of which a couple badly wounded. This was a demolished area, there is an investigation to see if it was a violation of the ceasefire.
If it was there will be retribution. We are very connected to the casualties. The guy who was killed yesterday was an engineer of value in a key Military industry plant. He was a reservist and had an important engineering job. He was over the age of Reservists and he insisted to volunteer despite pressure from family and co-workers. But he said that there are not enough soldiers and he must contribute and by him helping he is helping to free others who can visit their families. Rest in Peace. he had two daughters.

His view, and I’m finding it compelling, is that the organizational structure of the Iranian government is beginning to come apart. The agreement Trump is supposed to have made will mean there will be no room for the IRGC’s customary powerful role . As a result, there is most likely a power struggle going on.

I’ll look for “In the Electric Mist”. Hood was born not far from me and once lived in my county. Memory is short on what I’ve read of him, he seemed an interesting character. I seem to recall he had a $5K (in THAT time) cork leg and lost an arm and yet still could ride.
Several years ago the local paper wrote up a story of a teenage girl from California who contacted the owners of the house Hood grew up in here and asked to visit it since one of her ancestors was born on the property and lived there. The girl’s ancestor had been a slave on that farm. At least she got to see the land her ancestor walked. The owners welcomed her graciously.
It is always beneficial to know somewhat local history.

As an African American Julian encountered and fought prejudice throughout his life. Harvard University would not allow him to study for his doctorate and was denied a professorship at DePauw University on racial grounds.
In 1935 at DuPauw Julian became the first person to synthesize the drug physostigmine, making the drug available for the treatment of glaucoma.
In 1936 Julian went to work as a research director for Glidden, where he produced many successful patents and products, including a fire-retardant foam for gasoline fires, which saved many lives during WWII. Julian also greatly improved the process to produce Cortisone, so it could be more widely used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
In 1953 Julian went out on his own and founded the successful Julian Laboratories and later the Julian Research Institute. In honor of his scientific achievements and advocacy for human rights a number of schools in the Chicago are named after Julian and a US postage stamp was issued in 1993.

SW Va has stunning beauty.
A few years ago my wife and I went to see the Biltmore in NC. I wanted to come back to Kentucky via 26 to 58 to 23 through SW Va and into Ky.
You see, several branches of my family came to Eastern Ky through SW Va.
I was tickled as we came through Scott County to recognize some place names I’ve seen while researching multiple branches of my ancestry. As we drove North, mesmerized by the pretty views, I realized I had an opportunity.
My wife was needing a nap, and I wanted to do something I’d not had the chance to do, so I figured out that a short trip off of 23 at Pound would land me at the graves of my fifth and fourth great grandparents Bowling. Benjamin Bowling was a Revolutionary War veteran. I am an Army veteran. It was humbling to stand at his grave, pay my respects, and realize I had been at the graves of all of his descendants from my Dad to him in the past few months. My fourth great grandparent’s graves are unmarked, but had to be nearby in that cemetery.
I can only imagine how beautiful SW Va is in the fall. I want to go back and root around for more family history one day.
Researching family ancestry can be very fulfilling and time consuming Greg.
I know that area around Pound and Clintwood from work but my ancestors settled further east, (in the Blue Ridge) and I returned to that same general vicinity after military retirement.

I felt he let the cat out of the bag, letting us know of their capabilities of locating and keeping track of the downed pilot. Blessed morning Treeper friends. I want to share something with you about Artificial Intelligence… a warning.
A week ago, my Galaxy Android phone went through what seemed to be a routine automatic update. That update fried the motherboard of my phone and it caused me great distress as that phone carried my messages with Savannah, videos, and my last photos of her. Most were backed up to the MicroSD card… a habit I’ve gotten into over the years to optimize memory space on my phone especially with all the pre-installed bloatware.
I used artificial intelligence, specifically Copilot to do a comparison search of Android smart phones to find a replacement. After a lengthy search and review… I settled on about a $700 expenditure.
When I received the phone… it did not have a removable MicroSD card slot as I had conveyed was important and AI assured me was there.
AI is “trainable” so I went back to the thread and chastised it for its error. It apologized, said it was right for me to hold it accountable and then proceeds to tell me that Samsung discontinued the MicroSD card on that model 1 year ago.

Great distress thinking I had lost the final remnants of my daughter. I had already somehow lost her voice mail messages which deeply grieved me.
Second occurrence.. I had a maintenence man working at my apartment unsupervised and when I got home there was a solid amber light on my Bryant HVAC unit that I hadn’t noticed before.
Again, using AI, I keyed in the specific full model number and serial number of my unit to retrieve the definition of fault codes in the manufacturers manual. It returned results that a solid amber was indicative of a minor fault that could affect the performance. I messaged our technician… a move that could have cost me a $400 service call if he weren’t “in house” maintenance.
Again, AI was convincingly wrong.
I am being directed to use Gemini at work and this double burn has made me very apprehensive at the results we are receiving from AI with the proprietary data we are uploading to it to yield the customized reports we are looking for. I’m very very leery and equally alarmed at the number of executives usurping their responsibilities in favor of dumping their work loads on AI and consolidating their staff accordingly.
I’m an assistant controller and am responsible for significant monetary transactions. I have to have an analytical mind and discernment to watch facts and figures and I’m seeing a lot of tired people give up their critical thinking to blindly follow AI.
In my former job they were using crowdsourced data to erroneously value used equipment for resale to a disastrous result. Sellers would enter low ball numbers… or inflated numbers… to show a spread in valuations in a piece of heavy machinery ranging from $45k to $90k unit… on a piece worth $65k… and my idiot bosses were selling for cash grab at $45k because they were cash poor and liquidating everything not pinned down to the floor. A seasoned human sales representative knows what that equipment is truly worth and its appropriate life cycle.
Imagine… applying the same thinking to the housing market.
People loading erroneous data.. can inflate or devalue home and property prices.
It was a costly $700 error for me.. and could have been more if I had to call an HVAC tech. So be careful.
The internet was a “wonder” and wealth of information when it first came out… until it became a weapon once we became dependent on it… and then it was filled with disinformation and corruption by people impersonating legitimate content.
Our children of today have no knowledge of their predecessors because schools are not teaching them and equipping them the way they should.
AI and these data centers are only as good as their electrical plug being pulled.. and it will be sad the fertile farmland we are losing to feed monstrous behemoths that very likely in ten years will be abandoned and obsolete… once enough of the public population is misled by them.. or incarcerated by its predictive errors.
They’ll convert the pop up concrete warehouses to our jail cells with all the government overreach maligning our former Constitution… and I said what I meant… former.
Our kids don’t even know what their rights are. We can’t teach them fast enough to replace that which is being drawn away of their minds.
What a pandora’s box.
Tread carefully.
Before anyone starts offering solutions (thank you)… I found a removable MicroSD card reader with multiple slots for readers from cell phones to older version cameras… $8… but a real pain the butt and “another thing” that I shouldn’t have had to deal with to add to everything else.
Use caution people and remember… anything created in cahoots with DARPA… is probably not good for us.

Anyone also notice that all those photos that have been Hoover vacuumed up by “the cloud” age and appear grainy and unviewable over time? Funny.. old Polaroids or film based pictures last for decades if not a 100 plus years.
Yet, technology… in the name of “convenience” have stolen and damaged our memories… much like our minds.
I did not wish to ever use “the cloud”, my photos get moved to a RAID box via USB.
(when I used windows it automatically moved new photos to the PC when plugged in to charge)
Well I opined about this here last fall when Samsung broke USB transfers on my phone, I used a program called Warpinator that is available for Android, Windoz & Linux…. also available for Apple IF you enable some sort of beta program.
Anyway, Warpinator enables you to directly transfer photos/data over to your PC via WiFi onto your own network.
Warning: someone is now faking a Warpinator website probably for nefarious purposes, Warpinator is free & available @ GitHub below.
GitHub can be confusing (even to me) but there are generally Utube vids (or AI instructions) on how to do just about anything to install/operate those programs.

Our fancy high rez 4K+ photos our phone takes now are highly compressed as their file sizes can be huge, storage is getting incredibly expensive now that AI data centers are hoovering up storage devices, prices have TRIPLED for hard drives/SSD’s over the last 2 years. TPTB are not going to store photos at full rez anymore, that is up to you now.
CD/DVD/Blu drives used to come with every PC, no longer, USB stick devices are cheap alternatives to permanently store photos at full resolution if you do not have a backup drive.
Mdisk is archival quality for 100+ year storage regular CD/DVD/Blu are 2 decade or so before potential data loss for those that have digital movies/photos that they wish to pass on

You brought up a good point about auto backup. Now these new windows desktop practically force a backup to cloud rather than local drive. Trying to “undo” the preset defaults can be problematic for people who don’t know how.
I truly can’t stand how complicated it’s all become.
I stopped with Win 10 after it nuked 2 external backup units on a failed update & went to Linux. Win 11 is probably worse, never better.

I hear that – interesting about your experience with your backup drive. I have a removable one that seemed at issue – and I couldn’t tell if it was due to a faulty USB port or the device itself. It frustrates me so. I don’t even remember what’s on that backup removable drive, likely pictures of my father and prior Savannah days. I don’t have the patience or the time to check it out.
I’d just as soon create photo albums again – then have this electronic garbage that eats memories.

A description of the heavenly state, under the figures of the water and the tree of life, and of the throne of God and the Lamb. (1-5) The truth and certain fulfilling of all the prophetic visions, The Holy Spirit, and the bride, the church, invite, and say, Come. (6-19) The closing blessing. (20,21)
6-19 The Lord Jesus spake by the angel, solemnly confirming the contents of this book, particularly of this last vision. He is the Lord God faithful and true. Also by his messengers; the holy angels showed them to holy men of God. They are things that must shortly be done; Christ will come quickly, and put all things out of doubt. And by the integrity of that angel who had been the apostle’s interpreter. He refused to accept religious worship from John, and reproved him for offering it. This presents another testimony against idolatrous worship of saints and angels. God calls every one to witness to the declarations here made. This book, thus kept open, will have effect upon men; the filthy and unjust will be more so, but it will confirm, strengthen, and further sanctify those who are upright with God. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Yesterday was the opening ceremony for “America Reads The Bible” (www.AmericareadstheBible.com).
Over 475 leaders from all spheres of influence (including President Trump) will be gathering in Washington DC throughout the week (April 19-25) for a reading of the entire Bible, beginning to end. The readings will be live-streamed on the website.
President Trump will be reading 2 Chronicles 7: 11-22.
Ezra, the Jewish priest and scribe of the mid-5th Century B.C., did a similar reading for the returned exiles in Jerusalem. The account of his reading is found in Nehemiah 8, as follows:
“Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel.
So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month.
Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.

Then they will answer, ‘Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore He has brought all this calamity on them.’”
