I used to think religion was the way. Thought commitment, discipline, hard work was the path. That’s the results.
The path was Jesus, is! Meditation, fasting, study, prayer, meditation, meditation.
Christ is not outward. The body is dead, carnal. Feelings are only inline with your thoughts and if they stink so does your feelings. “Feeling” privileged is a stinking thought. Being humble and thankful, are a product of self awareness. You gain by seeing, the Bible is a mirror. Hmm why say that? Cause the Bible promotes meditation, inner thought, and even gives us the path.
It is for us to ascend, Jesus did. How? One with God, he was a man, and Gods son. He is the written word.
Religion, is man. It will get you to the door but you have to walk through the keyhole.

Tousi of Tousi TV, an Iranian man who grew up in the UK, has set up an independent news service and has been very active in exposing what is happening both in the UK and Iran. He has had his investigative team arrested in Calais, France. They were sent to do a documentary on the illegals leaving on boats and crossing to Kent UK. The team was arrested, given no reasons and their phones were confiscated.
The French authorities evidently do not want the public to see illegals from North Africa and elsewhere in control of the camp, with access to guns and not blocked by the French government. The UK is paying them to prevent these illegals from crossing but not doing their job. France and various European countries have masses of illegals that are not interested in integrating and becoming law abiding citizens. These are parasites who often supplement their government freebies through criminal actitivity.
Worth a watch if one has ~3 1/2 hours or can break it up in segments:
“Ben-Hur,” with peak Charlton Heston. It is free on TUBI with ads.
Last time I watched was at the drive-in with my parents many years ago.
