Yes-FLA R.-politicians tried to gut enforcement laws there.
We let in 31 million temporary visitors legally. Many of them decide to break the law and stay. Criminals.
We let in around 1 million permanent immigrants legally. We are a beneficial people.
But many more millions break the law to come here and break the law to stay here. And the often practice identity theft and support organized crime in their lawbreaking. Also criminals.
Never reward the criminals.
There us room to argue about the size of our beneficence. How many good, law abiding, vetted people do we allow to immigrate. We could increase it to 3 million a year, and the lines will never decrease.
I personally think the number should decrease until we can be comfortable that assimilation is working. But I am willing to have an open debate on the number. (Sippy Cup’s attempt to keep the border open until 500 pass each day, would increase the number by 1.8 million a year, but not vet any of them and still undercut the law abiding people who agree to undergo vetting.)
But there is no room to reward law breakers with citizenship. That is not benevolence, it is suicide.
Personally, I love Trump’s amnesty. Let us know you are leaving. We will help you leave. And not hold your law breaking against you should you apply legally. Make us deport you and you won’t be allowed in ever again.

Yes, the article I saw in the Daily Mail was confusing. It’s like the writer knew someone got arrested and that she’d been included in a book, and she said she leaked apparently because of what she called mistreatment, but otherwise the writer was clueless. The Daily Mail is one of the worst in terms of trying to go after President Trump and they’re missing some brain cells. But they print great photos of recent events.
What do they do when Hussein Obama’s backdoor channels come to light? Not those backdoor channels, the ones with Iran. Treason ? Jail? President again? Hero of the left and those on the right in CONgress.

While China was busy shipping missile chemicals to Iran and collecting yuan tolls at Hormuz, someone was inside its most sensitive supercomputer stealing everything.
CNN reports that a hacker group calling itself FlamingChina breached the China National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin and exfiltrated up to 10 petabytes of classified defence data. The samples posted on dark web forums include bomb and missile designs, animated explosion simulations, structural integrity tests, renderings of the J-20 stealth fighter, sixth-generation aircraft concepts, nuclear submarine schematics, hypersonic weapons systems, and target analyses for American assets including HIMARS launchers and carrier strike groups.
Ten petabytes. For context, the entire printed collection of the US Library of Congress is approximately 10 terabytes. This breach is one thousand times that volume. It is being sold for cryptocurrency on Breach Forums. Cybersecurity experts who reviewed the previews told CNN the data appears genuine, matching known output patterns from the NSCC Tianjin facility, which serves over 6,000 clients including defence agencies and aviation firms across China.
The timing is extraordinary. Trump posted a 50 percent tariff threat on any country supplying military weapons to Iran hours before CNN published this story. Five Chinese vessels shipped sodium perchlorate to Iran from Gaolan Port in the past six weeks, enough propellant precursor for hundreds of ballistic missiles. China’s ghost fleet continues operating through the IRGC’s yuan toll booth at Hormuz. And now the supercomputer that designed the weapons China is helping Iran reconstitute has been gutted by hackers selling its contents for the same cryptocurrency that Iran charges for strait passage.

If the data is genuine, every adversary and ally of China can now reverse-engineer the capabilities Beijing spent decades and hundreds of billions developing. The J-20’s stealth profile. The reason there is no cease-fire is Iran no longer has a functioning government. Trump negotiated with one of the larger factions. There are 24 factions. Not all of them want peace. We would all do well to learn from our President. When we don’t have him anymore, we need to hold the new leaders’ feet to the fire to endure they also learned from him. We can’t allow them to go back to the old ways of solving problems!
The real unstated problem by even conservative media is that we are negotiating with nobody that has any power to bring the IRGC to heel. In the US, our political civilian class runs the military; in Iran no civilian political class at this point controls the military. Until the IRGC has been completely destroyed or neutered, this is not going to end well.
I’m going to have to go with the gist of the tweet here, and say that the cease fire is clearly not the primary goal of Trump’s negotiation.

There’s a reason why the IRGC’s command structure was decimated and its assets targeted, whereas the conventional army has been left relatively intact. The aim now though is to not let the country follow the historical trajectory of Lebanon though, which is why the two week ceasefire was offered, as it’s enough time for a faction with popular support to gain control.
As I said in previous posts, the IRGC now are weakened, humiliated and have multiple threats to deal with, and due to a lack of leadership are probably already splintering into sub-factions themselves. Trump never needed to destroy the ruling regime, just injure it enough so that, when the fighting stopped, their enemies had a good chance of finishing them off.
Sorry, but I think that is all wishful thinking. The IRGC is still calling the shots over there, and no political faction is going to change that. The IRGC must be destroyed completely, or there must be mass surrenders as happened in Iraq during the first gulf war over Kuwait.
And we should be prepared to refuse asylum to Iranians looking to enter the US, as most of them will be IRGC soldiers trying to avoid the wrath of the people. We don’t need that additional problem dealing with these people here.

As for Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia negotiating to keep the regime afloat, understand this: no state has a legitimate right to decide who may pass and under what terms. That is international law, not a bargaining chip.
