True, to God every sin is the same but that is not true of civil society. Greed and coveting seem to be the two strongest motivations for killing, even government killing in wars is usually for money and power. The other thing is insanity. Coveting brings in not only material goods but sex. I don’t see that any of those desires will ever be stopped.
The poster asked the question why humans sin. It really was a simple question.
I gave a simple answer. According to the creator of man, man kills because men are sinners. Whether because of covetousness, or greed, or sex, or anything else. The basic premise remains. Mankind is prone to sin – be it killing or any other sin – because ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of their creator.
Absolutely agree, when sin entered the world through Adam and Eve we were all doomed through original sin until Christ died for our sins..
That said the majority of us never murder anyone. So there is a distinction between the too. Some kill in a rage others because they think they are smart enough to get away with it, and yet others because they have no moral compass so killing is just okay with them or they actually enjoy killing others.,

The awesome rescue of our servicemen this weekend really highlighted the asymmetric nature of our efforts in Iran. Our fantastic military would risk much for the sake of a single airman’s life, while the Mullahs would gladly sacrifice their own people (although never themselves) for the sake of Jihad.
President Trump understands this as evidenced in the vastly different “rules of engagement” being executed under his leadership. I pray for the continued protection of him and our service people who are engaged in these efforts and that he stays steadfast in leaving the regime change portion to others.

The most we can try and control is the placement and better evaluation on where they are placed and to slow down the speed of this construction so it’s done right and with the least harm to the environment.

I saw a photo on X the other day that a guy took of the immense area in Northern Va now covered by data server installations and was thinking how non descript and ugly. Just across the river in Frederick county MD, they are having a battle trying to stop the same thing (data centers) as well as heavy electric transmission lines offering no value or service to Frederick county, while destructive to many farms being crossed from Baltimore through Frederick to carry power to Virginia to feed those VA data centers. .

I’m involved locally with the data center issue. My son in law has been in the construction of data centers for the last 3 years in PA and NJ. Not here to defend, I’m against them but here are some facts.
They moved away from water cooling to chemical filled cooling system. Increasing the energy needed to run them.
Power usage and noise are the 2 biggest remaining issues.
States are giving away to much in the way of tax incentives for almost nothing in return in the way of jobs. Many don’t generate taxable revenue for the local towns and counties where they reside.
Data centers do not create new jobs, they create temp. work for people that already have jobs. That’s why electricians are making $160k – $250k a year. Instead of hiring more electricians they are working 60 – 70 hr weeks.
It doesn’t take more than 50 people to run a data center and Ai is quickly reducing that down to less than 5 employees.
Ultimately data centers are the needed infrastructure for the Ai control grid to enslave humanity.
Shut down their cooling systems any way you can and the servers will cook themselves to death. Sabotage these any way you can and make it too expensive for them to operate. AI is bullshit that deprives people of jobs to enrich people that have too much money already. If you use AI stop before your brain turns to mush fro atrophy of your thinking skills.

Yes, the Iranians have an army. And they would practice “kamikaze” if invaded. But, they do not use that army to project power: they use(d) air and sea power. Which is now being destroyed and sunk. You don’t need to put “boots on the ground” anywhere to deal with the threats that they pose, because they do not use armies themselves. Furthermore, they have a lot of territory, and a lot of that is high desert. An army could get lost in there.

There have been news stories over the past few months that large quantities of stored bullion was being moved from one nation’s safe storage system to others. Looks like France is one of those nations that has re-homed its bullion.
