I was talking about that with someone I went to high school with, and she reminded me of two teachers at our school who had relations with multiple students. Passed a “no kings” gathering of about 75-100 at the intersection of Bethany Rd and Central Expressway access road in Allen TX, yesterday. It was a fascinating looking layer cake of a crowd.
First were the LBGT Rights folks with their flags and posters.
Second … the democrat bathing beauties in their spandex … pink-red hair … nose rings .. tattoos and other finery.
Third was the geriatric crowd trying to look under 50 years old with their blue whistles, purple hair to cover the white-grey hair and posters.
Fourth were the Mexican and PLA flags.
Fifth was a group of paid “homeless” folks I recognized … from those who roam around the restaurants.
Then shockingly in a great show of solidarity and unity //sarc …. None of the 5-layers intermingled at all. Even in the geriatric group the “BLM” bunch was segregated from the “white folks”.
Then to top it all off .. there is a Mary Kay Meeting occurring at the Allen Convention Center and the participants were walking through them .. returning from Lunch in the pink suits and jackets.
The local business owners were pissed because it was lunch time and the protestors’ cars were taking up the parking lot.
All the assorted Freaks and Deviants of all persuasions and various Losers and Failures trying to convince themselves that they are important let alone relevant.

I hope there are some people close to Trump and outside of the WH political spin crowd that can explain, in practical terms, what’s fixin’ to happen to him in Nov. I really get the feeling he believes all the spin and hype and that all the right-leaning voters do as well. They do not and recent elections show they are not happy. He’s in for one heck of a shock on Nov 4th if he and his GOP don’t start doing something about the long list of domestic matters.
There are many hopium shooters and pollyannas on these conservative sites pumping nonsense up the pipes of readers, but things are not good and this Iran stuff isn’t helping. Early voting starts in 5 months in some places. Someone close to Trump that he trusts needs to give him a giant dose of realville.
Nothing is going to happen to him because he is not on the ballot. If the Republicans in Congress keep sucking up to Democrats, they deserve to lose in November. The problem for Democrats, though, is that any legislation they try to pass will get swiftly vetoed the next two years. Hopefully, the White House has ordered a healthy supply of sharpies…
If he loses the House, he will be impeached, as will others in his Administration. His legislative agenda drops to zero (not much of a drop thanks to Johnson and Thune). He loses the Senate, he’s gone. Convicted and removed from office. Vance will be next leaving Jefferies as president. You can push back on this as much as you like. Wong Kim ark has been misinterpreted for a long time. The Constitution itself should be used to determine citizenship and children of parents who owe no allegiance to the USA and are not citizens at the time of a child’s birth in the USA should not get automatic citizenship. First the parents are not under the jurisdiction of the uSA re citizenship status and second a minor child takes on the parent’s citizenship.. Birthright citizenship is one of the most wrongly interpreted laws in the history of the USA. The SC has punted on deciding citizenship questions for decades.
Will this court do the right thing here? Probably not. At least they should recommend changes such as limits to this type of citizenship with the child and requiring the child to live in the USA for many years as an adult before the child can run for elected office, child must not maintain dual citizenship and they never be allowed to run for P and VP no matter what. Those would be a case for Congress to change the rules I’m sure.

If you are buying American things, you pay in Dollars. But it’s not “de-dollarization” to be also able to settle trades in your currency(ies) of choice.

It all depends on the quality of the beef you’re purchasing and the price range varies accordingly. The Epoch Times recently featured an article about the importance of spending wisely and avoid the really cheap meat. Here in Texas I can get a pound of grassfed organic ground beef for 7.99 per pound.
This was at Walmart, 80/20. It was recently $7.50 per pound and now all of a sudden it’s $10 per lb.
I forget what I bought, but in Jewel, the item was $1.72 more than the same identical item in Walmart.
Jewel is Chicagoland major grocery store under Albertson’s. I just found the receipt…Thomas’s sourdough English Muffins…

Does ranchers around you sell locally? Some people go in together and buy a cow and split it up, if there is any local butchers willing to do it.
I wouldn’t eat “Walmart beef” to save my life.
If you’re surrounding by farms, my suggestion is that you start talking to the ones that have cattle. Price aside, it’s will be quite important to have a local source in the future.
I agree re WMT beef…and their chicken was no better, I tried it once, on the cost idea…never again…I was of the opinion those were very old ‘specimens’…maybe things have improved but am not willing to try and find out.
There was a quality and grade analysis of the major grocery and big box stores meet about a year ago I saw. Walmart was near the very bottom. Cosco and Wegmens were at the top. Krogers were top 25%.
The farmer I buy from prices 85/15 just under supermarket prices in the area. He also sells pork the same way. Ground Grass fed beef, buffalo and elk are all $10 -$13 dollars a lb around here. I quit buying them. Quick Trip a regional gas station and market still is selling 80/20 for $4.79 a lb, but I think it has pink slime in it like the supermarket stuff which I try to avoid.
I was trying to justify a trip to Purina Farms (big dog event)…I just found it….forget Iowa…

The beef herd is at 1960 levels and we have a much greater population. Drought in the west, Biden’s stupid green and environmental policies and drought in South American cattle raising countries all contribute to the high prices. With beef that high people turn to chicken and pork putting demand pressure on those meats which increases the prices. The $10 dollars a lb for ground was predicted long before Trump was elected. It will take years to bring the herd back to pre drought pre Biden levels.
Over 9 months for a calf to be born and over two years to get to market. So about three years. But remember half of calves are females that need to be bred to increase herd size. It takes from birth for the new cow to give birth about two years. This is going to take a decade.
There had been a huge culling of chickens, not too long ago, during Bribem’s time.

My Walmart’s here in Las Vegas has ground beef priced from $5.61 to $7.57. Depends on the Lean and the size of the package.

UK 30 year gilt yields are well above 5 percent, and their 10 year is at 4.990 percent this evening.
At what price per barrel of oil, particularly Brent Crude futures, does the UK go bust?

The “easy” and most certainly DIRECT way to remove over 50% of DC corruption is to repeal the 17th. This is not new or newa to Treepers. Most of us know this already. But the people we talk to may not. What’s needed is for people to understand it in a way they can understand.

Here in S. Carolina I saw about 4 people gathered. Two “No Kings” printed signs and one US American flag were on display. In other states they carry flags of foreign nations. Finding has been traced to sources outside of the US. Almost all of them are being paid and almost all of them are elderly.
