This cost, $18B, does not include overhead. Every US soldier is backed by 5x in overhead. It’s more like $100B per year, every year.

Sixty thousand-plus attacks across more than seventy countries, rivers of blood from Mindanao to Mali to Manhattan, and still the default position in polite society was that Islam bore no responsibility. To suggest otherwise was not merely controversial; it was eccentric, almost indecent. The West had convinced itself that the problem was everywhere except the one place the perpetrators kept naming: the religion itself.

Islam is held up as a “religion” and supported as such via the claim that all should respect that opinion .. and recognize that all religions (especially the Christian and Jewish faiths) have violent ends proscribed for sinners and non-believers. Islam also share some of the same prophets as the Christian and Jewish faiths that prescribed harsh measures for sinner and nonbelievers.
What is not stated nor recognized that both the messages of the Christian and Jewish religions evolved from man meting harsh judgements in addition to God’s final judgement …. to man having the free will to choose his life’s path between sinful and righteous behavior as well as being able seek and grant forgiveness before one faces the final judgement of God
Islam has never changed course from its founding … there is no “new testament”, no tempering Epistles (Hadithes), no tempering sermons …. just continued and deepening continuation of man issuing final judgement, preempting of God’s Judgement.

No forgiveness.
Man’s harsh-final judgements remain in addition to God’s final judgement.
Forced conversions.
Justifying sinful conduct to further the spread of the faith … contrary to the Judaeo-Christian teaching that a good deed can never be justified by evil.
Islam essentially “borrowed and incorporated” references to key figures from Judaeo-Christian teaching for the sole purpose of creating false links of commonality for the weak minded who easily converted or accept Islam as a religion and not some opportunistic political system.
These and other contrasts are the reality nobody wants to expose nor discuss.
I have read the Koran and the thing that struck me about the Prophets mentioned and the inclusion of Jesus was that zero of their words, sermons and teachings were mentioned. It was as if the Mohammad-Koran are just name dropping to draw support … gee like allot of politicians.
Judaism is not a faith. There aren’t any required beliefs.
Blah blah blah the Jew the Jew the Jew. A fetish for some, their obsession. Meanwhile, in reality, history is clear that the two metaphysical ideologies most deadly to humanity are state atheism and Islam in that order.

The Wisconsin GOP is in the process of slowly turning over the entire Wisconsin Supreme Court to a bunch of commie, leftist “female” judges. Recall the WI GOP had a solid majority on the court only a few short years ago. The GOP, during covid, made it much easier for the left to cheat at the ballot box with mail-in and ballot drop boxes and other voting scams. The WI registered voters lists are also notoriously corrupt.
Dane and Milwaukee Counties manufacture massive bundles of illegal ballots and a few other smaller blue counties help out. The WI GOP leadership seems to be uninterested in the obvious cheating taking place in state-level elections. WI will never see another GOP candidate get elected under the current system. A decade ago, WI was a solid red state in every way. It’s well on it’s way to going hard-left like Illinois and Minnesota.
For the people that live in and around Wisconsin, this will come as nothing new, but for those outside it’s a good lesson in how these state level GOP orgs in fairly red states mimic the national GOP in working against their own voters (think recently about Indiana GOP cowards and redistricting). If people stay home and don’t vote, that’s fine with the GOP. They can just blame their lazy voters for the losses. See how this works? It’s disgusting in every way.
I live in Wisconsin and am very aware of it. It all started with Governor Ever’s illegally changing the election laws in 2020 so the Democrats could cheat and steal the election. Not only was the Presidency stolen so was a seat on the Supreme Court. Although the state constitution specifies only the legislature can change the election laws, with the stolen seat after the election the Supreme Court had a liberal majority that upheld
the illegal voting changes.
Now the liberals always win. With the retirement of Bradley a conservative justice if the evil Taylor wins Wisconsin will only have two conservative Justices out of seven. We will become Minnesota and Michigan if that happens.
Has President Trump made any more announcements regarding his endorsement in the Senate race between Cornyn and Paxton? He had indicated that he would be doing so “soon” but I haven’t heard anything more. Paxton appears to be significantly ahead in most polls that I have seen but there was speculation that Cornyn would push hard for the SAVE Act in order to garner an endorsement from POTUS. Haven’t seen that happening and Paxton says he won’t drop out, regardless, so maybe DJT is staying out of it for now?

Oil tankers cannot “divert around Africa” to avoid the Strait of Hormuz – nor do they need to. The strait leads to a dead end, and the oil you want to load is inside of it. You have to pass through once, load up, and then pass through again on the way out. If you can’t buy oil there or get it out, you have to be sent to some other producer. But how you then get there, or how you get to your unloading point, has nothing to do with the Strait.

I just read this story and it is unbelievably sad. That poor girl… and she wasn’t raped just once, it was twice. She had a difficult life already, then gets sent to a state facility to be violently raped. Just horrendous! Now she is paralyzed. I can understand why she wants to give up.
Spain didn’t care enough about her, but they will kill her as she requested. Her blood is on the hands of those who failed her.
Her father tried desperately to stop the death of his daughter, but she is over 18 and the courts sided with her.
The only consolation is that she will die a peaceful and pain free death rather than another attempt to do it on her own.
