Many years ago I had relatives in Belgium who entered that lottery every year with a great deal of hope. The Story: Tumbler Ridge Mass ShootingOn February 10, 2026, a mass shooting occurred in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. The RCMP identified the shooter as Jesse Van Rootselaar, an 18-year-old transgender woman (assigned male at birth).
Van Rootselaar killed eight people, including her mother, her 11-year-old half-brother, five students, and a teacher’s aide at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene.
Police and media reports indicated Van Rootselaar had a history of mental health-related contacts with the police and had been apprehended under the Mental Health Act more than once.
Following the shooting, it was revealed that OpenAI (the maker of ChatGPT) had flagged and banned an account associated with Van Rootselaar in June 2025, eight months before the attack.
Automated systems identified “misuses of our models in furtherance of violent activities.” Van Rootselaar had reportedly described scenarios of gun violence.
OpenAI banned the account but did not notify the RCMP at that time. They stated the activity did not meet their “higher threshold” for referral to law enforcement, which requires an “imminent and credible risk” of serious physical harm.

So far … The major high end, high performing “private schools” near us, Collin County TX, DO NOT take Voucher Money because they have massive waiting lists of parents willing to pay, subsidizing churches/NGO’s or “that golden athlete” … who gets a scholarship subsidized by other students. These schools also have high levels of academic performance and fewer discipline issues … you screw up you’re out because the waiting list is long.
It will be interesting to see how long these schools can hold out before they are “legally” required to take voucher minority students (who are NOT athletes).
If the money is available, maybe someone else can setup a school.

The Sedition Act was about as unconstitutional action as the federal government has ever taken. It had a sundown clause that ended before the next presidency. The facts are the facts. Adams and the federalists enacted law against the right to free speech, speech critical of the government. If President Trump somehow (wouldn’t happen) got congress to pass the exact same sedition law and jailed the producers of CNN, MSNBC etc would you think that was constitutional?

Adams had nowhere near the political support in 1800 that Trump had in 2016 and even more so since 2024 for a variety of reasons, the least of which is Adams had a fraction of Trump’s electorate size and diversity. Also Adams was president in a fledgling nation that had not yet been tested as to its political resilience against the powerful European monarchies (nowadays the globalists).
The majority of citizens in 1800. likely were not fully aware of the truth of Adam’s dilemma in 1800. As such they did not fully appreciate the offensive actions undertaken against the U.S. (from foreign powers on the seas and using propaganda from within our then-small nation) against which Adams was fighting.
History of that era has been filtered through many political and ideological lenses and the surviving media records from that era must be read with a critical eye, remembering that populist opinions and perspectives aren’t always a response to the full set of facts.
Ashbrook nods to Adams’ personal shortcomings but IMHO is more correct in evaluating his actions – even with some appearing to be totalitarian in scope – giving far more weight to his fight against what is essentially the same virulent opposition that Trump faces from the foes of U.S. sovereignty.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and Adams was fighting without the benefit of much US history from which to draw strategy. He was “shooting from the hip”.

I must amend my last comment as it is not accurate on the point I made about the nation being “tested”. Did Adams’ detractors understand that the very freedoms they complained were being infringed upon (by Adams’ signature on the Aliens & Seditions Act) would have disappeared altogether had the nation been beaten by the Euro monarchies? I’d say some did understand that and were actually agents of the foreign monarchies, while others didn’t and just reacted without thinking far ahead.
Believing in free speech and the unfiltered words of the Constitution is good and IMHO on the correct path to understanding our system of government. Yet our nation is 250 years old this year and people in major influential institutions in America STILL do not ascribe to those “rights” as being interpreted solely as-written by the founders.
We have been witness to countless challenges to President Trump’s and others’ actions that require court battles throughout District, Appellate and the Supreme Court benches before some decision is reached. IMHO still too many legal battles are lost despite the “plain words of the Constitution”. It seems those “plain words” are always subject to interpretation and those with a globalist or otherwise disruptive agenda will usually have an interpretation that differs from yours or mine.

I have never observed any change in my pulse. It is a superficial liniment. You wet a cotton ball with a tiny amount of it, and apply it to your skin directly over the affected area. Lightly dampen the skin. No more than that. You can get the stuff at Tractor Supply or any farm store, in a small bottle. It might well help you. Apply once every 12 or 24 hours. It doesn’t take more than that.
Additionally, because DMSO passes through the skin so readily it will bring along with it possible contaminants. Much care appropriate to avoid poisoning is recommended.

My heart is deeply moved by witnessing on the America One Channel President Trump making presentations of Medals of Honor to three American soldiers from WW11, Vietnam War, and the War in Afghanistan. Two were presented posthumously. I have never experienced such sincere honor and respect shown to our military by a United States President in my 81 years.
Tears were flowing from my eyes at the bravery these soldiers exhibited by their heroism as they selflessly were willing to sacrifice their own lives for their fellow soldiers.
I want to speak to the humility and sincere respect President Trump showed to the one soldier and to the two families accepting the honors. President Trump initially spoke of the heroic actions of each soldier although it was not necessary since there were military representatives who ultimately spoke for each soldier’s actions as they made the medal presentation. However our President was obviously deeply moved to make the presentations a personal moment for each one from his own heart.
President Trump also spoke of Epic Fury and the military members who lost their lives giving their names as well. He spoke with such heartfelt concern about each one and their loved ones as well as all the military and it’s amazing power.
I thank our Gracious God and Father in the Name of Jesus Christ for the gift of Donald J Trump as President of our great Nation. He is what our Founding Fathers would be proud to know as President of the United States. Amen~
