If you were with CTH when I did the deep dive into the Miami-Dade School Police Department and Miami-Dade School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, you will likely remember how corrupt and sketchy he was. {SEARCH TOOL}
Carvalho was tightly aligned with the Obama/Biden administration, the “my brothers keeper” program and the Dade/Broward County “Promise Program” where high school kids who committed felonies were directed away from the criminal justice system and instead given school punishments (suspensions etc.).
I spent months fighting corrupt Miami-Dade officials and getting transcripts from internal police investigators who admitted to the corruption within the program. It was jaw-dropping.
Well, Carvalho left Miami-Dade and went to work in Los Angeles. Now this appears:
BREAKING: FBI LA confirms they are currently executing search warrants at two addresses, which a separate federal law enforcement source tells Fox News are the home and office of Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. LAUSD is the 2nd biggest school district in the country.
We are told the underlying affidavit in support of the search warrant is under seal, so it’s unclear what potential wrongdoing Carvalho may be suspected of. More as we get it. {SOURCE}
In 2013 an investigation into the Miami-Dade School Police Department (M-DSPD) uncovered several police officers, and School Resource Officers, admitting to breaking the law because they were instructed to do so by M-DSPD Police Chief Charles Hurley. During the investigation, Chief Hurley admitted to giving the police officers instructions to hide criminal conduct by students, because of specific demands by School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. Trayvon Martin was a beneficiary of the program.
Alberto Carvalho is a very well connected political figure among Democrats. [Carvalho also has a zipper problem] It was Carvalho’s program to use the police to inflate statistical improvements in schools that eventually led to neighboring Broward County doing the same thing in 2013. That led to the Parkland school shooting.

Older kids present have drugs and traffic the younger children. The number of foster families available has been going down as the kids these days come from seriously awful backgrounds and are extremely “challenging.” A real and sad mess.

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in 2015 effectively removed any accountability from the schools and the teachers for student achievement that accountability was originally part of no child left behind.
The original No Child left Behind Act was a law that generated bi-partisan support even though yes Bush promoted it:
“The increased focus in the U.S. on educational standards and accountability reflected international education policy developments and debates. After WWII, international organizations such as the (UNESCO), the World Bank, and the (OECD) devoted their attention to global educational development. From the 1960s onward, these organizations increasingly focused on learning outcomes and evaluation procedures that included the evaluation of education systems against defined standards of performance. The 2001 NCLB Act was part of this global movement toward greater accountability in education.” So the UN rises its ugly head as the culprit again.

Further than that consider Jimmy Carter and Congress’ creation of the Education Department in 1979 putting the Feds into what used to be local and state controlled schools and subsequently saw the rise to power of the teachers union and the threat of cutting off federal funding to states or localities who disagreed with federal mandates.
So you see the groundwork was actually laid by the usual bad actors and the focus was such by 1996 that the GOP started caving and by 1999 Bush was campaigning on promises of education reform.

I’m no expert, but I can tell you from family experience…..when “children” are not disciplined at the expense of other innocent students, one could see where some of the violence would come into these situations (kids taking things into their own hands to defend themselves).

How many times have you seen, the local school district fires the superintendent, and they begin the search for a new one. I hate to say I worked for a school district. Its well known by everyone as one of the most corrupt commie infested districts in the country. I won’t say which one its too embarrassing. Worked there for 18 years.
Back in the day, they got the public to pass a tax levy to change ‘all’ the school’s old boilers over from oil burners to NG burners, 132 school’s it was to be a 5/6-year job (per the sales propaganda of the school board) but turned into an 18-year job.
Quess what every 4 years they would go back to the public with (we have to pass another levy to finish the job). Yes, we changed over 6 or 7 a year (summer months) but we spent a lot of time keeping the others running during winter school months, they never told the public about this particular issue, who in the public thinks about such things. And yes, the new levy money was due to inflationary cost. A lot of it is corruption and a lot is incompetence. I could go on and on about what I saw but I wish to forget it. It was an eye opener and why I vote no on school levies.
You should see the high-speed rail debacle in California. They said it would cost $33 billion and then changed it to $128 billion. The federal government under President Trump finally had to nix all federal funding to the debacle. It started in 2003 and they have never laid any track. The Democrats and the unions they control gorged on it like rats on a bag of corn.

My state (Hawaii) has a state-wide school system (there are things called “districts” but these are administrative boxes on the org chart). The Gov appoints the school board, but in effect the legislature is the school board.
We had a hot fall a couple years ago, so the big thing was “we need to air condition the schools”. But schools didn’t have the electrical supply to do it. The legislature wouldn’t just put in more power, due “climate change”. No, they had to contract for untested systems with solar power. None of them worked but the money was all spent.
Now the new thing is to build “teacher workforce housing” as I guess the Dept of Ed is expert on apartment building. Instead of using a school that needs to close due to no kids, they want to built the first one at our HS next to the stadium (which happens to be the 3rd biggest in the state so is used about every night). Probably because our state senator is chair of the education committee. They want to use federal money but found out they can’t restrict it to just teachers. Oh well.
They also put in a bill this year (don’t think it’s moving) to give all kids free breakfast and lunch (too much to expect parents to feed their kids, and we don’t want to “stigmatize” poor kids). Meanwhile they are building a multi-million dollar “central kitchen” that is supposed to prepare meals and transport them to area schools (something about “this way we can use locally farmed food instead of imported”).
and millions and billions mean nothing to them when they are stealing from taxpayers.
So he’s dirty.
Never forget, it’s just good ole’ corruption. Democrats do nothing to actually help anyone they claim to assist. Rather they enter illicit, unethical and arguably illegal relationships with fake community assistance/ideas/plans -all to help them with fraudulent balloting and laundering of government dollars.
