Today we see on the news Jeff Zuckerberg will be testifying in Congress regarding social media.
I wish someone would ask him to explain that part in the movie “Snowden” (directed by Oliver Stone) where he learns how easy it is to look around Facebook accounts.
I meant to just put in the little clip where Edward Snowden is in Switzerland when he was working for the CIA – but if you have some time, I hope you will watch the entire movie!
Jeff Zuckerberg will be testifying about Facebook in Congress today to reassure parents of children engaging in “social media” are not harmed by HIS companies (eg, Facebook, Instagram).
I like to keep bringing up the movie about Edward Snowden directed by Oliver Stone because it delves into the use of Facebook to spy on people, freely, without any passwords – just walk around in there! Snowden learned about the use of Facebook to find a “hook” (to compromise a banker he has met in Switzerland while working for the CIA). In the Wikipedia article about Edward Snowden, the claims about compromising the banker are scoffed at but they never explain the aspect about using Facebook to find a hook, they just say there wasn’t any such banker that Snowden had anything to do with compromising.
Snowden worked for the CIA from March 2007 to February 2009, so during that time frame he learned about the Facebook access and the use of it for gathering subject matter for FISA 702’s – yet we were supposed to believe in the aftermath of the San Bernardino Shooting in December 2015 that Apple was holding the line against the FBI going into the cell phone used by the shooters – and you see the CIA obviously did not provide access to THEIR (American taxpayer-paid-for) program which would have provided plenty of information!
Remembering 9/11 and how horrified everyone was to hear about the hi-jackers taking flying lessons but not being concerned about how to land planes . . . the CIA and FBI and other agencies not communicating due to being hampered by not being “allowed” to gather info on American citizens . . . so the Patriot Act got passed to enable cooperation amongst the agencies . . . and YET the CIA did not help the FBI in the case of the San Bernardino Shooters?
just be ready… when congress wants to act to “save the children” of social media, what they actually mean is they want to watch YOU.

nothing against the Hofts and I am quite sure they are on the right side of things in a real way, unlike many on the right that have found their “hustle”, but that’s all it is. I simply dislike click-bait because it really doesn’t inform anyone in a meaningful way. It’s how they keep the lights on though.
That’s the main reason I enjoy this site. No clickbait and the host posts stuff that is detailed and laces everything together. You won’t see this stuff any other place and most of the folks that like clickbait would never stick through with anything posted here.

Many need to remember that MAGA does not own the entire Republican tent.
We’re not the control freaks and the people blinded by the pursuit of power and control, this isn’t how the right that values freedom rolls.
We’ve got many former Democrats now on our side like Tulsi and RFK Jr.
Our own President is a former Democrat.
We’ve even got many people that vote with us that are not even Republicans but they refuse to continue to vote for Democrats and they want to vote still.
The Independents are a huge voter block. We want these people.
We need to grow our base to win these elections to gain the power we need to continue the cleanup.

Make sure that they didn’t under pay for some reason and get an additional penalty. Any Republican counting on this to help keep the House in 2026 is a fool. By September (if not sooner) these tax refunds or rebates will long be forgotten.
I always tell people that are excited about getting a refund, that they just loaned Uncle Sam an interest free loan for a year, when they could have put that money in savings and let it grow. Tends to open some eyes.

Most people I have ever discussed tax refunds with don’t care about the govt. using their money interest free at all. They think of it as just a short term savings account, the interest is minimal to them and are happy to get money back when they file. Honestly, people love it.
In this case, the BBB made the tax cuts retroactive for 2025. Also, the IRS had not finalized the guidelines etc to change the rates. So, majority would not have adjusted their withholding for the past year.

For 2025, the BBB made lots of tax relief RETROACTIVE for the whole year.
Just how many folks did you think would adjust their withholding to match that relief…especially when passing the bill was never a certainty, and even when it did pass the year was over half over?

The refund includes the fact that during the year too many taxes were taken out because Trumps first lower tax deduction expired and higher tax rate applied. So more taxes were taken out of paychecks Now the lower tax rate I guess is retroactive so to speak meaning you get back all those taxes that were taken out under the assumption that Trump tax rate ended. Hope I didn’t confuse. I would think this also applies to Social Security taxes that you had taken out before the exemption $6000.00 that is given till 2028. I don’t have taxes taken out of my SS check so no big refund for me but will save on paying in on the $6000.00. Also if you own a small business and purchase something like a vehicle you can expense the entire cost in the year of purchase. Bottom line you get to keep some of your own money.

Your total for OT and double time should be on your last pay stub for 2025. There is no box on your W2 this year (there will be for 2026) for OT/double. What we were getting back this year increased by $1,000 because of the tax that was taken out for OT. The rest of what we were getting back this year was due to pulling from retirement.

False, the administration is not pulling back on it’s promise, they’re building the capacity for a huge operation that will be able handle the workload by leasing, buying, and converting huge warehouses and distribution centers across the country to handle the workload.
I have just finished watching the Charlie Kirk Show. I have not watched in a while because I was unimpressed with Andrew and Blake.
I am pleasantly surprised that they have really grown into Charlie’s role. There will never ever be another Charlie Kirk, but Andrew and Blake are working on fulfilling his dream. I hope I will not be disappointed in the future.
If you watch on Rumble the commercial breaks are clips of Charlie from his University visits. I really enjoy those.
I usually watch and have been pleasantly surprised, they are still pursuing MAGA goals, supporting MAGA candidates, and very explicitly remembering and honoring Charlie by coming at all of politics from a deeply Christian perspective.

What is the big deal if Epstein did work for the CIA? It seems anyone who wants to squeal on a neighbor, friend, stranger or enemy can work for the CIA or FBI. You get paid a lot of money and they won’t give you jail time no matter what you do.

Just a personal opinion:
There is a lot of anxiety about the MAGA movement fragmenting. This fragmentation is due to a few once MAGA (though I don’t think they really were) podcasters are deliberately trying to sink the ship.
Another reason for defection is due to the lack of accountability for those allegedly responsible for the criminal acts contributing to a coup against President Trump. Also the alleged (have to say alleged) vote crimes initiated by certain states. We have seen evidence in documents but nothing is being done. another problem is judges are going rogue. .
It took a thousand or more DoJ attorneys to deal with the Einstein files, taking them away from pursuing the above stated potential cases. Massie and Green should be called out for this. I must say, the IC holdovers and the Dems/RINOs did a remarkable job with this distraction ploy.
AG Bondi has now said that the requirements of the Congress with regard to the Epstein files have now been met. Just a personal opinion:
There is a lot of anxiety about the MAGA movement fragmenting. This fragmentation is due to a few once MAGA (though I don’t think they really were) podcasters are deliberately trying to sink the ship.
Another reason for defection is due to the lack of accountability for those allegedly responsible for the criminal acts contributing to a coup against President Trump. Also the alleged (have to say alleged) vote crimes initiated by certain states. We have seen evidence in documents but nothing is being done, another problem is judges are going rogue. .
It took a thousand or more DoJ attorneys to deal with the Einstein files, taking them away from pursuing the above stated potential cases. Massie and Green should be called out for this. I must say, the IC holdovers and the Dems/RINOs did a remarkable job with this distraction ploy.
AG Bondi has now said that the requirements of the Congress with regard to the Epstein files have now been met. Re: replication of comment
This may or may not be a contributing factor,
that some touchscreens are touchy (and misinterpret a near touch, or static electricity).
There is often a delay that feels long before you see your comment, so I think people figure something went wrong and they hit post again.
Then all of a sudden, there they both are.
This is perhaps related to peoples own internet connections too, ours can be wonky at times, it seems weather related.
I have said since the beginning PTs poll numbers were going down….not because of the economy but lack of prosecutions of the deep state and lack of movement on voter integrity. Why….because it was evident what the voters wanted when his high poll numbers coincided when DOGE was first implemented. But then nothing happened …no indictments from DOGE revelations and it was business as usual…this was when the decline in polls started.

I think core MAGA is still strong. The gains that Pres. Trump made in young voters, poc, independents and Hispanic voters might be weakening though. Young voters had a strong link to follow in Charlie Kirk. He’s gone and it might just have more of an influence than people think. The lack of prosecutions for known politicians and others who have committed crimes against America is definitely on voters minds who followed Pres. Trump and voted for him. The biggest issue still is what voters are seeing in their daily living. How far is their money going that they need to live well. That hasn’t changed much for the average person. Energy sources other than perhaps gasoline are going up rapidly. Big chunk out of paychecks. Electricity rates are just crazy expensive in many places.
We here at CTH know there is a lag between policy changes and when the results show up on the street, but many people don’t know that. They hear promises and don’t see them as soon as they think they should. In an election cycle like this one, those things make a difference when people vote. The Epstein diversion, the ICE issue and the definite propaganda put out there by the media 24/7 are influencing where we might be headed in NOVEMBER. We need to figure out how to change that quickly.
MAGA fragmenting is fake news. MAGA is Trump and if Trump was going to be on the ballot in Nov, he would blow the doors off of turnout and votes in favor of.
The problem is that the GOP house and senate are not MAGA. No one in the senate is MAGA and only a small group in the house are. That is going to be a big problem in Nov and Trump will get the blame from the propaganda media, including Fox and the WSJ. It will not be his fault.

I see this situation as getting far worse because following Covid, many people refuse to put their elderly parents into the nursing homes.. or they themselves refuse to go.
So we’ve got more and more women that are wanting to raise and educate their own kids, which means they won’t pay in as much perhaps. AND this is good, we need better, tighter, smarter families.
Then we’ve also got an issue on the other end of life, many women today are being forced into early retirement to care for their elderly parents and grandchildren.
In fact, there are record amounts of grandparents now raising grandchildren.
We’ve got big issues on this because of the amount of women that are the caretakers and I see this all growing.
We don’t mind doing this, but what happens when we ourselves get old?
The women that do all this are absolutely doing the right thing by our family and by the country, but what then can we do about social security for them?
If there was no fraud and SS/Medicare was left in its’ own fund and not spent by Congress, all seniors would have free medical care and SS they could live on.
I was under the impression that when a woman is widowed she steps into the shoes of her late husband, assuming his earnings were higher.
With the generations of single parenting now I can see that wouldn’t be available, especially if the woman raised kids with not only a low wage job, but also government assistance.
The real travesty is that any new entrants to our nation – for any reason – get anything, we used to screen against that.

Trump told us there will be voter-ID, either via the SAVE America Act, or via EO. If this is true (it is), then the Dems are going to lose the midterms in a catastrophic landslide, to the point where the public will have no choice but to accept that the Dems’ support is largely manufactured via election fraud and manipulation of public perception.
The Dems manage perception with phony polls and projection sites. Everything is fake. Perception and reality are not the same.
The GOP will win the midterms by a landslide, because things are now in motion that cannot be undone. Trump has already fully committed to saving the Republic, and this is what must happen for the public to wake up.
Once the public see how the Dems are engaged in widespread election fraud, the veil will be lifted, and Trump will have not just the ability, but the RESPONSIBILITY, to hold the Dems accountable for hijacking our nation.

I’d like to believe you’re correct but I’m too cynical at this point to think Americans will understand how corrupt the Dems made our election process. Judges and legal challenges will probably hold all this up until after the elections and even further out. But we can still pray, hope and work toward election reform in all our states. So far, there are no states which have taken out mail in balloting. No states that stopped early voting. No states that have stopped any late returns from being able to be counted. Machine counting? Still there. Voter ID would definitely help but I am beginning to think it won’t matter for 2026 and if the Dems win, it won’t get passed at all.
The Dems will default to violence in the streets. I hope they do and that the Insurrection Act is invoked in the States wher the riots are the worst. Insurrectionists don’t get to vote or have representation in Congress. No more fillibuster or other obstruction. Pair that with voters dumping RINOs in the primaries and we can go a long way toward fixing our internal problems.

For reference, the company does employ over 6,000 between multiple shifts and faculties in the local area. A dozen or so of that many employees suffering from gender dysmorphia would not surprise me.
