The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 23 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

I’d like to see Sundance write about the looming government shutdown of DHS. That this one budget was untied from the other budget resolutions seemed like a set up from the start. There can’t be more than 40 members of Congress who wouldn’t like to see ICE reined in or totally stopped. Dems want the votes and RINOs the cheap labor that illegals can bring. Meanwhile, the vast majority of Americans want all illegals deported whether they’ve committed violent crimes or not. It will be very telling to see if the RINOs agree to defang ICE and whether President Trump plays along. I don’t believe he will. But if the Dems get their way, he can say he tried to deport the 20+ million illegals in America but Congress tied his hands.
That isn’t going to happen.
Btw, I thought the Big Beautiful Bill had funded ICE, so why can’t they continue their activities despite the shutdown looming?

The funding in the big beautiful bill was for NEW hires not for current employees. It is the currently employed that will not be paid if this bill does not pass within the next few days I believe. Hence the shutdown of critical services.

Anyone already employed prior to the bill’s passage will not get paid during a shutdown.

Now I live in a neighborhood of single family homes, half of which are now rented, with strangers moving in and moving out regularly. I am in a mail-in ballot state, and in the past several years, I have noticed an unusual phenomenon: in the week before the general election, I will be out walking the dog, and I will see young people in beater cars quickly pull up to a neighbor’s house, run to the door, enter, then quickly exit with ballot or ballots in hand. They get into the car and proceed down the street.
What motivated the persons inside these houses to hand over their mail-in ballots to these runners? Was it love? Or was it money? If money, what is the going rate: $20? $50? $100? Where are the unopened ballots taken? Who fills them out? The signatures on the envelopes containing the ballots cannot validate them, if they were sold.
On election day, there is always a line of cars going to the ballot drop box at the local library. The ballots can also be mailed for free. The local news celebrities wait dutifully until 8pm to report the Democrats have won again! In a state that voted twice for Ronald Reagan, now all the state elected officials are Democrats, and with the exception of the county commissioners, all the local elected officials are Democrats.
Registering to vote in my state is almost compulsory. It’s not only motor voter. Any interaction with the state whatsoever cannot be completed without being asked if you wish to register to vote. I once took a friend to a food pantry, and they wanted to know if we were registered to vote. It used to be you had to show a valid ID to a duly authorized voter registrar to register to vote. Apparently not anymore.
This is a corruptible elections system. People can register to vote provisionally, without showing valid ID to a registrar. Then, if no one challenges their vote on the basis of eligibility, then that vote will stand. Also, people can sell their ballots with impunity to persons buying votes. The authorities tolerate this and look the other way. Just don’t suggest it is happening, because you will be the bad guy. Voter integrity is assumed.
Straight up vote buying and finding thieves within the counting apparatus to pay is way cheaper than pouring a billion dollars into an idiot like Kamala.
If you allow ballots to be “mailed in” en masse, then you have no vote integrity at all.
Make “election day” a holiday. No one has to go to work that day. So they can arrive at the polling place, show their ID, and cast their vote. Which will be tabulated by midnight and the winner announced. Just as it used to be done.
I worked in that system. We had punch cards. There was no cheating. You signed the poll book at the polling place for your precinct before you received a card to vote, not after voting, and if your signature did not match the one on file from when you registered with the County Auditor, then you didn’t get a card to vote. You had to register 30 days before the election, showing ID.

Another quick note about voter ID. I don’t know if any of you have experienced having to give a photo ID for a bottle of NyQuil? Yes, that NyQuil for cold and flu. It happened at a large chain market many months ago and now again a Dollar General in my small town in Maryland.

I have to wait for an attendant to buy it, but once she sees I am over 18, I don’t have to pull my ID.

But as I said the other day on here, the companies laying people off are cutting their nose off to spite their face. At least if they are already a healthy company. We are using AI to take over all menial data entry type processes and moving the employees in revenue generating or cost saving roles. AI is like having a new group of employees then allowing you to maximize other areas of the business with the original employees, and all at minimal cost for the return of multiple new employees. But the bottom line is king for a lot of these idiots, but their businesses will be hurt by this move.
Actually, these stories about “AI” are very seriously over-rated. What comes out is exactly a product of what goes in. There is no actual “intelligence,” and no capacity to “reason.” One of the biggest problems with it is that it will blindly accept whatever is fed in, having no capacity to “discern.” The algorithms can be very easily manipulated.
For example, a “white hat” researcher was able to convince an automatic weapons scanner: (a) that a brick was a pistol, and (b) that a real pistol wasn’t. The “training data” that did that looked ordinary.
It is simply not the case that “AI does coding better than humans.” But, a lot of “coding” – and I have spent a lifetime doing it – is in fact quite routine. There are powerful tools to simplify and partially automate those routine things. Computer people are always building “tools to make tools.”

My first experience was that the secretary had our checks made out in about four hours after we turned in our time.
After they made everything better by going computer, they added another secretary and we got our checks two days later.
AI is more hype than function but send that robot out to dig me a ditch for me a new water line. Make sure he (she) does not cut the electric or phone cables. If it screws up on the electric, you may need to send me another robot.
