Nancy Guthrie disappeared in the middle of night from her Tucson, Arizona, home and was last seen on 31 January. Authorities believe she was taken against her will.
NBC narrative engineer Savannah Guthrie said on Monday that her family believes their mother is still alive and issued a new appeal to anyone with information.
The FBI have released images of a masked person in the hunt for news anchor Savannah Guthrie’s mother. Officials are seeking to identify the individual, who they say was armed, shortly before 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home.

Local sheriff really fought to hold on to the lead. He didn’t strike me as a terribly capable guy having not declared a crime scene on his first go through after seeing blood. It seems he thought best not to back out right then and instead just allow whoever to trample all over it then declare it’s a missing person. Until a week later it becomes a crime scene. Gotta give him credit for making sure he was seen as relaxed and in control as he attended a basketball game. What a guy.

The FBI in December 2015 should have just checked with that guy in Switzerland that worked for the CIA as depicted in “Snowden” as he was able to freely walk around in the Facebook pages of targeted individuals and was showing off the system to Edward Snowden (who went to work in Switzerland for the CIA in March 2007 until he resigned from the CIA in February 2009) . . . the CIA apparently had THAT technology on hand, why couldn’t they find every connection possible for the San Bernardino Shooters (husband and wife terror team who brutally killed co-workers at the San Bernardino County Health Department who had even given them a nice baby shower).

Until the release of the video from the doorbell camera, it was unclear what actually happened. Now, it is very clear that a planned abduction by a creepy intruder has occurred. Instead of complaining about the use of federal resources, I will be praying for Mrs. Guthrie and her family.

Well, here’s hoping the FBI is still sophisticated enough to do a proper investigation (which includes determining if someone is buying up land in the area via the Municipal Deeds office). I’ve read a number of times how some of the less scrupulous real estate developers like to hire third parties to “encourage” homeowners” to sell. Intimidation, threats, and sometimes violence is included in that package. Sometimes it goes wrong. My understanding that, despite developments dotting the Catalina Foothills, Guthrie’s place is accessible through a long winding road with an amazing mountain view. That sounds to me like a still undeveloped area.

You know, the continual nonstop coverage of this makes me suspect deflection and diversion from something else. But that’s just me.

I find it interesting that the media is so entrapped by this story with one of their own. They don’t care about 350k children trafficked and missing. They don’t care about young American girls being raped and murdered by illegal aliens. They don’t care about Americans being murdered by illegal aliens driving an 80 ton truck and plowing into multiple vehicles. They don’t care about illegal aliens murdering Americans by driving drunk. They don’t care about the unending rapes and attacks by illegal aliens. All they care about is protecting the illegal aliens.
But they really really care about an 84 yr old woman missing in an unending drama that is all they can talk about.
Not saying I don’t care about this woman missing and is probably dead (at this point) but the hypocrisy makes this beyond my caring.

I just don\t get why Savannah Guthrie didn’t just go ahead and pay the $6 million ransom and hope for the best ? What harm would it have done? It’s not like she would have missed a paltry $6 million.

Nancy has lived in that house for 50 years. Yes she definitely needed someone there to look over her, at her age. Allegedly daughter Annie and her partner Tomasso Cioni, who lived a few miles away, catered to her. I am highly suspicious of them both.
