Joe, this is one of the most odious comments I have ever read on TCH. It is exactly the kind of logic used by the increasingly influential anti-2A forces, as they demonize this caliber and that feature of firearms, in their march to negate the constitutional acknowledgement and endorsement of our inherent right to self-defense by bearing arms.

No, there is simply self defense. Some firearm calibers are more effective than others at stopping an assailant in a life or death personal-defense situation. Any use of a gun in a personal encounter, regardless of caliber is considered use of lethal force, and is governed by law, which varies somewhat from state to state. (It varies now more than it used to, due to the efforts of anti-2A people in blue states.)
I am not a lawyer, but I understand that the use of lethal force is generally permissible only where a reasonable person, in the same situation, and without provoking the situation, would have a justified fear of imminent death or grave bodily harm.
The fact that this person brought a gun to a “protest” indicates very bad judgment. He may have brought the gun with malicious intent, as most of us suspect. The officers who dealt with him had every reason to fear for their lives and use all defensive means available.
But the rabbit hole your comment goes down is not a good one for those who value freedom and safety for themselves and others. It can be used against anyone who has a 9mm pistol and a couple of magazines. And it often and unreasonably is.

I think I could have put it better, but you got the drift.
This could be true. However, according to the complicit media, all Americans are against ICE and hate them. This is what the left is pushing hard and they are succeeding because the MEDIA is making it so.
Somehow, Imo, the govt has to do more to change up the idea being fomented that ICE and the Trump administration are the bad guys. They need a blitz of arrests with proof of who is planning and instigating these actions against ICE. They need to show the American people in a much stronger public way that they are doing the bidding the voters gave them in 2024. Deportations were one of the election issues that American voters wanted taken care of along with preventing more illegals from flooding in here. They need to somehow publicize that the majority of Americans are not anti ICE or anti Trump.
This is all about the upcoming elections and covering/deflecting the negative public images of the fraud uncovered in MN and now elsewhere in the country. The democrats want no part of the voters being swayed negatively against the democrat party due to the fraud investigations and reveals as to who is responsible for them. Convenient isn’t it that this all happens in MN right after the Somali fraud gets blasted on the front pages of the news? The fraud has faded to the back of the media reporting line as planned.

I think this is a really good statement from President Trump. Other Republicans need to echo his statement and maybe with some passion that the leftist continuing to drive this division is destroying our country.
Maybe we should do what CNN did as I recall. During the Iraq war they posted the number of body bags being returned home. What if we had a listing of the number of murders, rapes, assaults, child molesting, etc doe by illegals on a monthly basis.

I lost my job at the shelter and was put out on the street with less than a weeks notice. The owner wouldn’t keep her word and allow me to put Trouble to sleep when I felt her quality of life wasn’t good enough and after about one week of bouncing around from place to place, I was forced to return Trouble to the shelter and surrender her, I was not able to take care of her anymore.
I will never trust another person’s word for as long as i live.

Holman is in charge of Operations. He’s going there to get first hand reports from his commanders on the scene, and to brainstorm any adjustments in strategy, tactics, and priorities.
I would speculate Homan is assigned to convince Walz and Frey to comply with ICE in the same manner as red states do and to abandon sanctuary city/state policies.
This would be the last chance for MN to save itself from an insurrection declaration.
