I would encourage everyone to read the entire Bible, but for good prophetic teaching the book of Jeremiah, along with Daniel, Ezekiel and Isaiah are amazing.
On Christmas we read of the glory of Jesus birth in Luke 1:5-45 through Luke 2:1-21, and then in Matthew 1:18-25 through Matthew 2:1-18. But every Christmas we also read the story of Jesus birth, life and death found in Isaiah 52:13-15 through all of Isaiah 53, a wonderful, prophetic section of God’s Holy Scripture.
I would especially encourage all to read the book of Ezekiel, since it also very much speaks of what is going on today, though it was written over 2,000 years ago.
