Have been monitoring this since it happened and from what I see the entire thing stinks. At best there is a major cover-up going on.
The campus and surrounding area is super-saturated with cameras (over 800 cameras – students call it the most recorded plot of land in the world). In spite of this, only 1 shot of the shooter from a home. The mayor is a liberal and gay. The college president is an uninformed idiot that 6 hours after the shooting new nothing about anything. Multiple sources describe the shooter as yelling those famous words before opening fire, including in the first hours last night.
Watch the guy in the background with the glasses (the mayor) and his reactions to the questions about the cameras and lack of video.
The this morning these details came out about the attack – a 7 story science building filled with kids and the shooter goes to a single particular classroom.

The topper? Two kids who had been in high school events just happened to both be there…and are being used for the stupid “gun control” narrative flooding out. Side note – Rhode Island has very strict gun laws and the campus is a gun free zone (of course).

It’s a university. For some reason they are treated some what autonomous. Right now they are figuring out how best to present the university. I’m being serious. For example, if a female student is raped on campus they will try too ‘solve’ the issue internally because having a rape on campus doesn’t look good for the university. 🙄
I have always wondered why Universities have their own Police? Seems that want to be part of the community, but not policed like the community.
I think in the old days they pretty much dealt with minor crimes like petty theft, underage drinking and rules violations the regular cops didn’t want to bother with. That has obviously changed, but anything major the regular cops still are involved.
In this case, I’m thinking the university is trying to avoid another Islamic DEI bomb from blowing up in their face and another chorus of “We Told Ya So” from engaged and informed Americans.

This includes doing gun safety course and gun owners must have gun safes to store guns at home in Australia. Two years ago I changed to a $250 yearly deductible for my supplement, after zero deductible for about 10 years. Boy have doctor visits gone up. For just regular doctor’s visits with no tests or anything , just the doctor ordering some tests.
Got my bill & it was 258 with $8 paid by Medicare. Now here is the kicker 3 months later I get another bill for 250(?) something for that same visit.. Called up, telling them they had already billed me & I had paid it. Turns out that was the administration costs & it takes longer. . So, I ask if $500 plus is what someone with no insurance pays with a “Yes” as answer.
People died during what was referred to as a covid pandemic and at least two cheap well-known medicines could have helped many of them. The medical establishment still lies about that.

In the recent National Security Strategy, on “Primacy of Nations,” Trump said it easily:

Logically, this should always have been status quo. If you don’t put [your_nation] first, nobody else ever will. (Why should they?) I’m still in shock over the news from Brown University, where I was a student until a few months ago. And it broke my heart to learn that Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama, is no longer with us 💔
I knew Ella through Brown Republicans, where she was vice president.
Being a conservative at Brown isn’t always the easiest, but Ella was never afraid to share her beliefs on an overwhelmingly liberal campus and support others in doing so.
Last spring, while I was under a disciplinary investigation for reporting on Brown’s administration for the conservative student paper, almost nobody wanted to be associated with me. Ella was one of the few who were willing to stand with me in public and help hand out newspapers in front of the dining hall.
Everyone at Brown who knew Ella, regardless of their politics, found her to be friendly and kind. My thoughts are with Ella’s family. Ella was a promising young leader taken too soon.
