Given the financial state of the EU, it won’t be hard to do.
The problem for these people is where to go next and how to put that all together.
When they formed the EU, they then destroyed all the systems they had before.. (I remember all this)
So that all would need to be put back together again- this is a big undertaking for these small countries that are not in great shape financially and then will be vulnerable. They’ll need help standing up we can think of this as.
So it seems to me that what Trump is really doing is providing them with a path to an alternative to leave the EU and then rebuild what they need to become fully independent again.
Based on recent actions by Austria’s “leaders”, don’t see it happening with them anytime soon – the other 3, yes. In fact, they are already working with us on matters the EU disagrees with.
Austria is controlled by Vienna and Salzburg.
I don’t see Italy, Hungary, or Poland leaving the EU at the present time. That might change over time.
At this instant in time – would agree. Sometimes more can be accomplished on the “inside” than the outside – such as the successful vetoes of Orban in regards to various actions.
Neither of you are recognizing the debt crisis that the EU is in- it’s this that is forcing a lot of these nutty and threatening ideas- like the war economy strategy using Ukraine.
Like fining Elon Musk and trying to make a living off fining people using censorship as an excuse.

I don’t know about the jeep. Good traction but it just sits higher and feels top heavy. Lower to the road is more comfortable for me. That road is high though. More than 11,000 ft because there is just one little pine tree.

The federal government has no constitutional, lawful authority to fund such programs. Such programs are left to the States or the People, NOT the federal government.
The welfare and food assistance programs are managed through the states.
When people apply for either they go to an office in the state in which they reside (unless they are double-dipping which unfortunately is common).
Usually, each county in the state has an office.
After being certified, the recipient is ‘on the program’ and begins receiving assistance.
Federal welfare and food assistance funds are disbursed to states through a combination of block grants, categorical grants, and shared-cost programs, with the federal government providing the majority of funding for key programs like SNAP and Medicaid.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the largest nutrition assistance program, is funded entirely by the federal government for benefits, while states cover half of the administrative costs, a share that will increase to 75% in FY2027.

The programs are managed through each state and should be supported by each state individually. When the federal government gets involved costs rise due to an extra layer of bureaucracy that doesn’t really care what happens to the funds. And even more if the money is tracked. If you are genuinely interested in extending Christian charity, perhaps you might try doing what I have done for years which is volunteering at a church sponsored food pantry?
In addition to the regular chores and tasks required, some volunteers go above and beyond in various ways such as privately purchasing food items for (easily identifiable) special needs’ clients like young mothers who might need baby/infant food or food for children that are gluten intolerant since the pantry doesn’t always have those types of specialty foods.
Sometimes we buy warm clothing or small appropriate toys (at Christmastime) for the children who come through the line.
The specialty items or gifts are put into their boxes unbeknownst to the client (until they get home) or anyone else for that matter.
We do this completely on the down low so the client never even knows we personally gave them anything, they just assume the gifting is from the church.
There’s no want for need.
Genuinely needy people are everywhere.
If you truly desire to help the needy the Lord will help you find your way.

A Single Person making ~ over $64K who is purchasing Health Insurance will have to pay the entire premium without Tax Credits. A Low Level Policy is ~ $800 per month and High Level Policy is ~ $1100 per month.

The healthiest people in this country right now are probably the Amish and illegals, neither of which have taken vaccines, another wonderfiul government program of which all must participate to enroll in public schools.
Fortunately the Amish don’t participate either in public schools or the U.S. Healthcare system, and many Americans are choosing to do the same. They also don’t use welfare and other government dependency systems and they are leading healthy productive lives.

Health insurance is a funny thing. It’s not mandatory. I was without it much if my life. It’s called self insurance. Then I had it for many years and rarely needed it. As one gains a family, it becomes more necessary. I’ve chosen jobs because they offered it. There are no easy solutions.
I would guess the Amish self insure, no insurance. They probably use homeopathic methods that most have forgotten. Our systems are now focused on drugs and shots. Which is better? Or if you must, bring facts the next time the group meets. Try to help people see what President Trump is doing because a lot of people only listen to legacy media.
This will be hard to do. Most of us want to be liked and are uncomfortable rocking the boat. But guaranteed you will be more more uncomfortable under the next Democrat dictator.
The second thing to do is to work in your community in a way that helps fix things or to get MAGA people in positions of power in the Republican power groups in your community or to get a MAGA candidate elected. For example, you could join a group working on elections or you could work to elect a specific candidate. And give money if you can to organizations doing work you support. Think back to Dutchman urging us to get rid of the olds time Republican guard in your state and bring in MAGA people. He was right. If we had all been doing this for the last ten years, think where we would be.
Those are just basic ideas. They aren’t glamorous or exciting. But if we all pick something and get busy we will make a difference.

In my opinion the only way to reign in this massive spending and fraud is to allow anyone to do an on-line search for people receiving government money. The only exception that I would allow is Social Security retirement benefits. Everyone else should be on a searchable database.
I’m all in for recycling, but the industry of recycling plastics is a scam. Is there a good reason why to not go hemp based plastics in lieu of oil based plastics? I’m not an expert, but it seems like a much better solution. Jmo
