Many of the addicts that are now dead, were the first generation of kids put onto Ritalin because they took the kids recess away in school, pumped them full of high fructose corn syrup and then wondered why they wouldn’t sit in their chairs all day and listen to the brainwashing sessions in silence.

Then, they decided these wild little boys with ants in their pants that were bored out of their minds had ADHD and all sorts of ‘issues’ that they needed to be medicated for.

The next problem we dealt with is the scam economy we’ve been dealt over the course of our lives- with the rising cost of living.
Giant bubbles bursting every 10 years so that Gen Xers wound up losing everything they had over and over again.. how many times could we endure this before that man shot himself or self medicated to his death?
Many people I know in their 60s right now that lost everything in ’08, they never even recovered from that one and we’ve had nothing but a shitshow since then.
I watched nearly every man I know work themselves to death in construction jobs just to try and get somewhere in this world.
When they all wound up with busted up bodies at young ages, they were prescribed pain killers that were highly addictive and told to go smoke a joint.
Even Rush Limbaugh got hooked if everyone remembers that.
SO then the ‘solution’ by our government that did all this to them in the first place was to abruptly stop these pain pills.
This then drove all these addicts to the streets in search of the cheap and readily available heroin that we were flooded with for precisely this reason.
My state has been one of the hardest hit in the country, “A Drug Den” said Donald Trump himself.
This is when all the men I knew with blown out shoulders and aching backs all wound up dead.

The older I get the more I realize that in my younger years I was too quick to close my eyes to problems and judged people too easily when they seemed to make poor choices.
Yes, we all make our own decisions, but sometimes the “right” choice isn’t all that easy to do. The example I’ve heard recently is people using food stamps and buying junk food (or expensive stuff, food or otherwise). Sure, that happens. But it is also true that in some situations poor people don’t have easy access to nutritious food. And it’s hard to want to cook when you’re tired after a day of work. The point is not all situations are the same.
We can all benefit by taking your comment to heart. And also doing what we can to support President Trump because he is doing more than any other leader to try and at least reduce the issues surrounding drugs (coming at it from all directions).

Do you know that the state of Vermont is so rural, so thinly populated that they have a real issue with food deserts.
Big grocery stores are few and far between because they just don’t have the population to support the investment it takes to build one. They won’t make the money they need to make.
They’ve got an obesity problems with kids because so many families are forced to do their grocery shopping at the Dollar General because that is all that is within a reasonable distance.
So yeah, this right here has a whole lot to do with why some people buy whatever food they can buy at whatever place they can walk too.
This is how millions of people live.

I don’t think we can afford to not look in the mirror too and see there is blame there. Addiction is horrible, never leaves a person really. However, that person made the choice to start the long road to hell instead of taking the other paths to help them solve their problems. I know people are in great pain at times. I know for some there is no relief from the mental and physical pain and that’s why drugs are so attractive to many…but, If you don’t start the flow of drugs, they don’t catch you. I am talking illegal street drugs here.
The medicinal addictions are quite another story. Those are the ones that involve people trying to get better, to stop pain, emotional and physical, and whose doctors push them into take addicting drugs, knowing they can be harmfully addicting. The whole population has been indoctrinated by the drug companies and the medical professionals to take as many drugs as can be prescribed which in the end in many cases, don’t cure anything, don’t solve emotional and physical problems and which are highly addictive. Lives, minds and health are ruined.
Drugs in general are one of those deals where some may be lifesavers, but many are life takers in the end.
I am 77 and ignorant of these drug cost and who uses what. I do see the fall-out in our society. Anything that impedes these drugs for our society is a win-win…bill

It might have been best to hear him say after “we took action”, something like “these actions include [insert number] referrals and recommendations to the DOJ for criminal prosecution of present and former government officials.”
That’s what our base needs to hear, especially the younger ones who voted for President Trump this time. Eliminating government corruption is a political gift that keeps on giving. President Trump is the only one who has had any success at all with it recently.
Sometimes the most important daily work is not glamorous. Reorganizing and changing entrenched culture is not easy. Especially when the malcontents are buried deep and work to depose you through baseless claims to the media.
The FBI is a very large organization and I have seen the work that goes into a large reorganization. It takes time even with a workforce working with you let alone when 99% of the organization is against you. Stay strong and things will come together all at once. The groundwork is almost complete it seems.

The last is a more nebulous concept but it’s about the growing signs of decrepitude of the administrative state and all its satellites. Everyday the news has evidence that the institutional hollowing out, these past two decades, is beginning to have a serious impact on its efficacy. This growing sense that radical change is required to address these structural problems is a crucifix to the century-old vampiric state that has fed off the country.
