Grace Williams was a Welsh composer who composed this delightful “Fantasia on Welsh Fairytales”.
And as I have waxed lyrical so many times on why Wales will always be the home of my heart, I was thrilled to discover that this performance is resplendent with the most wonderful photographs of the stunning landscapes in North Wales where I lived.
Including photos of the town I lived near and worked in, Llangollen with its iconic 14th century bridge, situated on the River Dee.
So as nobody should ever “drink” alone, I am sharing with my family in our Treehouse….bottoms up, my friends, and may the peace which only our Father can give be with you all 🙏🏻

John, in 2009, Jose Barco was convicted of two counts of attempted murder with extreme indifference and felony menacing after he fired a gun at a Colorado Springs house party in 2008. One of those shots hit a pregnant woman. He was sentenced to more than 50 years in jail, but was paroled after 15 years.

Public cans are too contaminated with mixed stuff & just goes into the regular trash, but it makes “some” people feel good about it. Too labor intensive to sort.
The recycling center I serviced forklifts at from time was just E of I-65 downtown Indy, went there far to frequently because I had a 24/7/365 account just S of it.
They had a wild … water flume ride for (dirty) 2 liter bottles mostly but other PET plastic was probably mixed in that shredded, cleaned and spit out on the other end.
Let’s just say I did not like to go there at all & I won’t gross anyone out with details.
I also serviced the PET bottle manufacturer from time to time, their problem was they used a forklift as a fork push & were constantly blowing the fuse for the drive motor.
It was wild tho… they would stage a full trailer load of wrapped palleted (empty) bottles, truck backs in, forkpushes the entire load in moments & off the truck goes… very efficient system tho. (think just like a train on rails tho they had enough room on concrete floor to line up to specific doors)
Trucker could be in and out in 15 minutes depending on paperwork time.

Biography: Cluny MacPherson was a Canadian physician who during World War I invented the gas mask that was used to protect soldiers from chlorine gas attacks, a frequent and deadly hazard in the trenches. This gas mask quickly became a standard piece of kit for soldiers, saving countless lives.
MacPherson’s initial design for the gas mask was a simple, practical solution to a critical problem. It involved a fabric bag soaked in a solution that would neutralize the poisonous gases, with a celluloid window for the wearer to see through. This mask was lightweight and compact, which made it suitable for use in the often cramped and chaotic conditions of trench warfare.
In addition to his notable invention, MacPherson also served as the principal medical officer for the 1st Newfoundland Regiment. He was responsible for tending to the wounded and maintaining the health of the soldiers, a role that gave him first-hand experience of the horrific injuries caused by gas attacks. His experiences undoubtedly fueled his drive to find a solution.
His invention was so effective that it remained in use, with some modifications, throughout the rest of World War I and into World War II.

COMMENTARY FOR GENESIS 1
“Genesis” is a name taken from the Greek, and signifies “the book of generation or production;” it is properly so called, as containing an account of the origin of all things. There is no other history so old. There is nothing in the most ancient book which exists that contradicts it; while many things recorded by the oldest heathen writers, or to be traced in the customs of different nations, confirm what is related in the book of Genesis.God creates heaven and earth. (1,2) The creation of light. (3-5) God separates the earth from the waters, and makes it fruitful. (6-13) God forms the sun, moon, and stars. (14-19) Animals created. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Forty-five years ago, I became a believer in Jesus Christ and was miraculously saved.
I’m still amazed at how God continues to teach me about life.
Especially through His creation … it’s powerful – and at times – unforgettable.
I love that!
Like through the animals –
Some birds mate for life, unlike humans. (noted, dear Lord)
Birds take care of their young – even pushing them out of the nest. (definitely noted, Lord)
In early morning, they chirp and sing – no matter how gloomy the day. (noted, Lord)
They don’t worry about having enough food, since they know their Heavenly Father feeds them. (noted, Lord)
For years, we’ve had a large variety of birds making their home in our backyard.
A steady supply of seeds, water/bath, birdhouses, and many surrounding trees kept them happy – and us.
But last September we noticed a drastic absence of our feathered friends.
Even those that stay year-round.
Only a few stragglers remain.
It’s a first in twenty years, feeders are untouched … and we’re scratching our heads.
Perhaps, it’s the sharp-skinned hawk who also claimed his territory in our yard.
He is stealth – always successful in getting his easy target – a carefree, unsuspecting bird.
It’s sad … but, maybe, our birds realized the ever-present danger and moved away from it. (noted, Lord)
Hopefully, they’ll return when the hawk moves on …
