We had average of 5% inflation under Biden and we’re somewhere around 2-3% now which is on top of Biden inflation prices and life is still unaffordable for many of us. When the Biden inflation was +9% the prices were already too high but that made them skyrocket and they haven’t corrected enough. I went to buy weedeater line and had to pay $27! Remember how much it used to cost?

Yes, I remember very well. The weed eater line is 3xplus more expensive now, as is pretty much every thing else. But eggs are a little bit less expensive. Ribeye steak is off the chart, and a decent brisket is going for around $60.00.

He needs to put domestic issues front and center. I agree he’s doing well on inflation, but DOGE was a high point and is int the background now. Also, the housing market is due for a correction and it has to happen.
My kids are gearing up to buy a house. It’s still too expensive. They aren’t considering things like what if one of them gets sick or worse and I dare not reality check them for everything I think they should consider (which is probably not even close to everything) – I hate to dim their excitement and joy but they will be slaves to that mortgage and won’t have enough left for anything and that will dim their lives considerably. I just stay silent.

I think there are reasons he is giving attention to world peace, and they are for the good of We the People. Having contracts in place gives accountability. We have our own dirty CIA infested (and not for our benefit but for the benefit of WEF) everywhere.
Having contracts for peace allows him to order CIA out of their infested involvements. If the CIA people violate, he has severe means of punishement of them. If the nations violate, he has contractual justification for retaliating. Otherwise he just looks like a war monger.
The contracts also expose and make more illegal all the backroom grifting that is happening between politicians of nations worldwide.
If we lose the House and Senate, or even just the House in the mid terms all that has been achieved or in the process of being achieved will be gone. Funding will be held up for any Trump projects for sure. Many of the things funded now like ICE, the Wall build, further trade bills, etc., will be reversed and changed to whatever extent they can be by a Democrat House. If that goes on, any further Trump policies are dead in the water and the 2028 elections are not going to be pretty for MAGA or republicans in general. Basically at best is the govt will sit at a standstill again.
What he has done for Foreign relations, policies, trade and peace in the world has been great. No one denies that. Time has come right now though to turn back to priority number one which is AMERICA FIRST. First up is truly LISTENING AND LEARNING what the average American is trying to tell the federal govt and Pres. Trump what is concerning them and how it is affecting their lives.
That means monitoring current election laws and processes and working on changing them to provide honest and fair elections again. That means getting prices down on goods and services the middle class, all Americans really, need and want to afford and buy. That means explaining what is being done and a plan going forward to keep prices lower and to get health insurance on the front burner immediately for a viable alternative to Obamacare.

I documented my husbands medical problems for years with photographs on the phone. This is already problematic because cell phones have corrective lenses and tech which tries to make things prettier than they are. After he was homebound there came a time when I desired to withdraw him from hospice and get him to a doctor for better relief. I knew I wasn’t going to save his life I just wanted to ease his suffering more than a hospice can do. I contacted a doctor he had seen in the past and the assistant wanted to see the photos to understand what was happening. As I set about gathering the photos the AI jumped in and helped without my permission. I could see what it was doing but I couldn’t stop it and of course it was way faster than me. The AI selected years old photos that were pretty and showed very little illness. The doctor was furious that I was whining about such a little thing based on the photos that the AI sent and of course rejected my husband. Furthermore she and the hospice joined against me and told me that I wasn’t allowed to seek non-hospice care for him despite every hospice contract stating that it is possible and all over the internet too. I loved my husband. I thought that he deserved a more dignified death and I just wanted to ease his suffering. Perhaps that wasn’t possible but instead of explaining why that wasn’t possible the AI colluded to keep him miserable and somebody’s are lying about being able to temporarily leave hospice for care. I have many reasons to hate AI. Plus when I complained to the manufacturer I was told that the AI would never have done that without my having given it permission. Another lie. It most certainly did do that without my permission.

I have a “smart” phone that I was able to disable automatic functions in my settings. I did not know of such intrusions as you described as being an issue.

All of us can ask too by sending emails to the WH, posting on Truth Social, on X, on tik tok, etc. Keep sending the messages about what’s important and maybe if enough Americans do that he will see, hear and understand. Don’t give up. Take that rumor to the bank. Zeldin faced Rob Astorino, Andrew Giuliani, and Harry Wilson in the 2022 Republican gubernatorial primary. Although Zeldin eventually won the nomination, it likely cost him votes in what was already a nearly impossible task for a Republican in this state.

As a fellow NYer I agree with all you’ve said. I do think though Elise has a chance, a good chance. Problem is even if she wins, she will be faced with an army of democrats in Albany and all over the state that will oppose her at every turn. That’s because the Republican Party here is, as you said, the worst in the country, and will not work to find good candidates to put in the other state and local elections.
The whole political system in NYS is rotten to the core on both sides and they will not willingly change anything within it. Only a major uprising by the voters in NY will do any good and then there’s the cheating that will also take a place in the battle. The people can do it if enough of them come out and vote Republican. Will they is the question. Zeldin did well and he probably won, if the cheating by the Dems is factored in because Hochul is not well thought of anywhere in NY.

if the rest of NY state would like to salvage something from the ruins, they should act to secede from NYC.
It’s been put forth many times. Problem is the NY constitution makes it nearly impossible to do anything close to that kind of thing or to change much of anything any time. The Dems locked it down good. I forget the timeline and the details, but it was something like two to three election cycles to even get it on the ballot. I guess the people of NY could just have an out and out revolt to get away from NYC. Anything tried would involve many legal battles, many years and also need federal approval which would then take much more time with challenges etc and who knows who might be in charge at the time anything could finally go through.
The state is cooked, has been cooked, for a long time. The only recourse are the people and what they can do to change the people running the state. Maybe someday it will happen and change will come. I would welcome an out and out revolt, strikes, not paying state income taxes, something drastic by a lot of the residents of NY. It would be refreshing to really shove it to those in charge of this state and the republicans who allow it without a fight.

The papers followed a classic pattern of bringing someone new up to speed. First paper she plays a minor role and learns. Second paper Baric takes the back seat as the Bat Lady takes the lead. Third paper they achieve GOF in China.
The first two papers were funded before Obama’s GOF loop holed filled ban. The third involved deceiving NIH about doing GOF.
And none of them made Covid.
But then they went around trying to get a grant for something very much like Covid.
This went way beyond Physics Today like stupidity.
And the possible funders are legion. DARPA denied them, but the IC has many possible culprits, we now have some USAID involvement. And even if no US funders stepped up, there is always China. Bat Lady is afterall a Chinese Weapons developer.
But there are too many US fingerprints to think we weren’t involved past those papers. Fauci coverup. Daszak coverup. Preparations for a plandemic. Not doing anything when China obviously releases it to harm the rest of the world. Using it to run identical coups against the people of the west. Using it to harm Trump’s economy and to enable greater cheating against Trump’s reelection.
We have uncovered much of their deceits. But we still don’t have the smoking gun. Is it sitting in some other burn bag in some other SCIF? Has it been classified in some unreachable manner?
But those involved have been lying and won’t stop. We won’t get any confessions and have to go around their coverups and lies to find the proof.

– Parks
Unlike the park closures that b o implemented years ago, national parks can stay open. And they did stay open. No entry fees, fewer rangers in action, people were respectful of each other while enjoying / experiencing nature sights and creatures.
– Flights
With a priority of safe travel, a lot of flights continued
and there began to become fewer options, 10 percent +/- over the course of 43 days.
Overtime, there was an incremental diminishing TSA and air traffic control services. Safety is still achievable – due to some willing to work, without pay ( for unknown amount of time at the time, which added up to 43 days )
– Food
Some found that there are 42 million people utilizing government to fund food – too many.
Other alternate ways to fund ‘snap’ were found to minimize the effect other funds drying up.
– who really cares
Some politicians enjoy making other people suffer, so as to get what politician$ want.
– non essential federal employees
They have their work / project progress get delayed, get unknown from day to day, time off without pay but also know the pay will come later and then have work to catch up
after the shutdown. And some people will complain about a delayed product or service.
– sacrifice
Yes, ( even if called unessential )
there are people willing to work without pay to serve their country.

The miss use of ‘shutdown’ as political leverage was diminished with good leaders.
And many remember that prior bad leaders ( b o ) will seek to maximize harms during a shutdown. – and the media will pound that into people’s minds.

It’s a senate rule on spending bills that require 60 votes. The current ‘filibuster’ rule does not even require someone to talk for hours and hours.
So, the Senate coasts…and waits for people to complain
( one way or the other ) so that they show each other polls to influence them.

Some people like to manufacture chaos or crisis
so that exploitation can occur that is self $erving ( not for the people they serve ).

some people will eventually vote for something if, they do not see an affect on funding for their future re-election campaign

Many people have seen health care costs rise, while the quality of ‘care’ declines.
Is the affordable health act ( ACA ) actually a political boondoggle that uses taxpayers funds to fund insurance companies ( and then those companies fund political campaigns ). It’s been 10 years of that – and where is media honesty in reporting truths?
While there was dem leveraging to get that $ystem funded, again, was that hesitant to tell truth – getting partly exposed during a longer and longer ‘shutdown’?

the coverage favored the dems miss use of ‘shutdown’ by covering the harms
– Trade and peace agreements with other countries can still occur, and did occur.
– Lives
most people went along with life and work without feeling a ‘shutdown’ affect. A bountiful harvest season occurred from Oct 1 to Nov 12 and the purchasers of crops were arranged through more equal trade
– Jobs
Saber rattling about cutting government jobs during a shutdown, ( getting people to worry, fear ) to leverage votes on CR.
Massive job cuts did not occur.
But, the right sizing of jobs, competency
with
purpose and services will likely continue while government operations occur ( not while ‘shutdown’ )
And yes, dems may seek to protect govmt jobs and not say so, with another contrived ‘ shutdown’

similar to the contrived, timed ‘pandemic’ in 2020 ( election year ) the dems may seek to harm economic growth ( and people ) via a govmt shutdown tool again ( not saying yes to responsible spending ). Untold, the economic affects of a shutdown are being noted ( with the sick ‘hope’ of doing that again – and looking for the timing to exploit).

I flew to Florida 10 days ago, and back home this morning. Been making the same nonstop flight twice a year for 4 years and this is the first both flights departed and returned on time or early.
Both airports and TSA lines operated quickly and efficiently and every employee I encountered, both airline staff and federal govt, was smiling and polite.
Guess I was just lucky?

The article is spot on. PDJT flatters his enemies and attempts to engage with them by offering them a better future for themselves and their people. He did the same thing with Rocketman and has done similar things with others. It doesn’t always work (nothing always does), but the general concept of Realpolitik has been around for some time – PDJT just brings to bare his own personal strengths to the method.
The article is also correct about the alternatives and their effects. Unfortunately there are too many knee jerk reactions and lack of consideration to all the factors in such situations – exacerbated by those trying to split the people apart and discourage them.
Ahmed did look kind of freaked out when President Trump sprayed some cologne on him by his ear.
Subtle hint? I hope it was well a taken to TAKE A BATH!
This falls in the same category as working with Macron and the other EU weenies (and other leaders in tbe ME and Asia). They all are responsible for terrible atrocities and death, but they are presidents of countries. As such, DJT has said he will work with them and he does.
However, that isn’t an open invitation to continued problems. Syria under the new president could go south and DJT would then act accordingly (example is Iran or on a less extreme scale telling the EU they had to pay their NATO share).
If the Syrian president joins in the new “Middle East” that would be a good thing. DJT has made this a priority and is working to see it happen.
Conversely, he doesn’t see a gain by calling the guy a terrorist (we all know that) and refusing to work with him. That could lead to things breaking down in the ME, which is the opposite of what DJT wants.So far it seems other countries in the region find the Syrian president acceptable, but time will tell.
By “work with” DJT means he will develop relationships based on mutual interests and focused with trade that helps sustain both economies. In other words, a country can join in civilized behavior that benefits both parties/the region or DJT will call foul and take action (example is high tariffs).
Another thought is President Trump may see a bright future for Syria based on new ideas he has. He did comment that historically they have been an amazing people.
Every time he sees a chance for life that supports “we the people” he jumps on it. This is the opposite of stealing from a country either passively or in open warfare in order to grow our country.
I see his intent and have always recognized his modus operandi, MsWords, which you’ve outlined well and which I have always acknowledged.
But we are dealing with a different animal here…emphasis on “animal”, a barbaric, murderous tribal one at that.
Islam is in no way compatible with western civilization, their goal remaining complete eradication of the latter and global submission.
And it is this which I pray he understands.

The big story on the front of the “Wall Street Journal” is about the penny . . . the last penny . . . that we are not going to make our pennies anymore.
You know, this is just my opinion of course, but I FEEL, I THINK, that if our beautiful country’s various industries that have been getting hollowed out over the past 40 or 50 years and the resulting loss of strength had not happened, we could and we would be making our pennies.
Maybe we will find out that at some point some brilliant person posited that we might have them made in the CCP-PRC as they could make them so much more cheaply but after some deliberation some other brilliant person determined that THAT might not go over so well with the American people . . . it could still cause trouble.
I think the elimination of the penny is not the end of it . . . when will we be told, “no more dimes” and then quarters. Are they just waiting for all of this to dissolve from the American memory?

It already costs more to make a nickel than it’s worth as well. The issue, as with the penny, isn’t the manufacturing cost, but the raw material costs. The solution is to make them out of different materials – but lobbyists have fought strongly against it due to the characteristics of the metal is used by machines to discern what they coins are (vending machines, bus fare machines, etc).
