New: USAID’s Secret Signal Chats Document Plot Against U.S. Leadership
One of the better posters/commenters on X is the aptly-named @DataRepublican, who does some great work digging into data, crunching numbers, taking big nests of snakes and laying them all out straight, and uncovering things that just generally make the left uncomfortable.
DataRepublican has outdone herself on this thread. Let’s look at a few highlights. First, the opening post:
Ex-USAID employees describe how, before January 20, they moved internal groups off government systems and into encrypted Signal chats, then quickly linked with foreign partners and NGOs after the inauguration. This attempt at creating a color revolution isn’t new news; this part was already reported in NOTUS earlier this year.
But what’s not reported is the international aspect. One participant explicitly frames it as “a global anti-authoritarian movement,” connecting U.S. officials with “colleagues from around the world who have dealt with this directly.”
I urge you to read the entire thread and listen to the video clips. There’s some very disconcerting stuff here; the clips presented people appear to be engaged in an effort to (at least) conceal their international contacts and conversations from the legally constituted authority – namely, President Trump.

The last one is the scariest one. Debate and disagreement are permitted … “on the basis of shared truths.”
AKA, someone else is going to define what is your permissible shared truth.

There wasn’t any hard actual evidence presented to link her to this act (they used a video but what video, it wasn’t presented) thus naming her was highly irresponsible.

I agree they probably should have held their horses on this story, unless the goal was to disseminate misinformation, thus undermining the real story about the fedsurrection.

He decapitated his wife and in the day and age,left no physical evidence? This is the same guy who grabbed 10k and drove for the border? There’s an obvious reason the death penalty was overturned.

I think some posters here need to understand that there’s no division between foreign policy and domestic, until the DS apparatus that has controlled both is rooted out, exposed and surgically removed. Trump is carefully defusing these ‘foreign policy’ operations which were/are simply extensions of the DS franchise, whose hub is in Washington but whose spokes radiate out worldwide into countless foreign government agencies.
Every foreign policy success weakens that hub, because it reduces its ability to pre-empt Trump’s agenda, or to conduct an active defence of its interests. Take Ukraine, resolving the conflict will seriously disrupt a worldwide money laundering operation, whose kickback payments helped finance the Uniparty. Or take Venezuela, again seriously disrupting a source of money that finances, via numerous cutouts and couriers of both state and non-state origin, numerous entities that are trying to block domestic progress. Linked to this operation is a far more complex one targeting the illegal immigrant network, set up under the last administration, whose influence is strong and widespread, as seen by the numerous tactics deployed to protect it from discovery and removal.
The problem really is one of perception, and here is where the DS do have an advantage. Although ‘New Media’ does allow stories to surface, that would have been previously buried, they also are highly vulnerable to being weaponised against the base because their output is often driven by analysis of pre-existing sources and, largely based on an individual or small groups perspective, vulnerable to group-think. Added to this, monetisation pressures tempt some sites to present their ‘analysis’ in sensational terms, which has a habit of creating phantom crises which can be exploited by opponent’s of MAGA by creating a perception of distance between the President and his supporters.
