Many of the Plains tribes started out as Woodland Indians that got pushed out tot he plains by other tribes. The Cheyenne & Sioux being the more famous of them. Cheyenne were Algonquin those with the mysterious X DNA.
I believe that is true. The real story is they were more interested in fighting each other taking goods and hostages from other tribes than inventing and investigating other methods of existing. As a whole there was little curiosity or desire to change only to endure.

There were no black slaves from Africa, before people in Africa, where slavery was a common thing, sold them to travelers and brought them to America. So I call that story what is, Bullshit. My guess is you’ve never studied history or watched the movie roots.
There is no official record or documents in existence to back up that the story real, is another clue that the narrative and the story is fake.

I was going to say that, there were just as many white people throughout history as there were black that were designated as slaves. Even today when you go to work you’re in essence engaging in a form of slave labor if you’re working for someone else.
Being designated as a slave can also be misleading. Some slave owners treated them very well. Some people were happy and willing to exchange their labor for the provisions of food housing and as means of survival, when they had no means to begin with.
There was no common currency at one point in time is another factor, even if you had currency there were no stores nearby, the first super markets only appeared 100 years ago. Others were not treated well, hence is why the term and the practice was disbanded.

Indentured servitude slipped into slavery/ownership in the American colonies when a man named Anthony Johnson brought suit to in Virginia to retain an indentured servant who had fulfilled his debt, John Casor. Johnson was black.
Then he became a slave owner himself after he had been released of his debt.
It goes on an on, because that was a legitimate form of employment and conducting business at the time.
That was the legitimate de facto way people that had no collateral borrowed, and in turn paid back their debt, and that entrepreneurs used for their investments and to conduct their businesses affairs.

Not a central part of his business, he most often acted as a broker, making sales on behalf of others. Franklin also accepted enslaved people as payment for debts, then resold them. Again I was only conveying the facts.

Like most names in our culture today, “free trade” is being used for Crony Capitalism, where a small number of players control the supply (oligopoly). Free trade means free from regulation, but we have anything but when it comes to logistics, control of source material in other nations, regulatory burdens (inspections, manifests, etc which are difficult for small companies to process at scale). Most regulations are often implemented at the request of big players, precisely to create barriers to entry, to keep the big players in an exclusive club.
While I don’t doubt the commercial was highly manipulated, Pres. Reagan was indeed generally against tariffs. Of course, he was also against the Chinese Communists owning Canada, not to mention the Clinton and Obiden Oval Offices.
Philosophically, he accepted the Milton Freidman Libertarian line that corporations don’t pay taxes, only individuals, including customers, just like he once viewed abortion as a Libertarian issue, before he realized it was a Life and Death issue for God.
However, both Cato and PDT point out that President Reagan used tariffs many times. He was not an absolutist in practice.
We have also since learned that “free trade” is largely a beard for Monopoly and Wealth Transfer to the Oligarchy.
He viewed tariffs as another “big tax” and accepted the myth that Smoot-Hawley caused the Great Depression.
