Thune: Russia sanctions bill paused until Trump-Putin talks
United States Senate Majority Leader John Thune said on Monday that Russia sanctions bill is currently postponed until the upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
“I still think that the sanctions bill is a tool in the President’s tool chest that he can use against the Russians to get them to the table.
At least at the moment, we’re going to hit the pause button,” Thune stated, adding that he has been coordinating between the White House and Senator Lindsay Gragam on this issue.

The endpoint for Pfizer and Moderna’s clinical trials of the mRNA Covid shots was not broad. The clinical trials did not test the Covid shots for whether they prevented transmission of Covid-19. They did not take into account adverse reactions to the vaccines in terms of trial results.
The endpoint for the Pfizer clinical trial was this: How many of those who displayed Covid symptoms (no matter how mild), and tested positive on a PCR test, were in the vaccinated group versus the unvaccinated group?
That’s it. The endpoint of the trial was to determine who had symptoms that were PCR-test-confirmed to be Covid-19. They did not test for safety. They didn’t test if the vaccine prevented transmission of Covid-19. They did not test for how the vaccine interacted with the body long-term. They did not test the vaccines on pregnant women, or the elderly, or those with existing health problems. They combined the second and third phases of the already shortened clinical trials. They dropped people from the trials who had serious reactions to the vaccines, largely ignored them, and minimized or deleted their data. They kept track of adverse events, but they were not made known to the public, and were not a consideration in the endpoint of the trial.

They ended up moving clear across the country with four kids in the back of a beat-up station wagon, hoping to find better work prospects in California. And they did, before the state was ruined. Just love the fact these courts are so powerful they can be so kind as to allow our president the power he has anyway if they’d just put a stop to these rogue judges.
Mr. Judiciary, I give you: “The United States Constitution.” You have no power nor authority nor discretion here. You are given nothing at all concerning this matter. Nothing. The foundation document that gives you all your power denies it explicitly in this case.
The President has the sole discretion to act, and Congress has the sole power to say how. The courts have none. The power over “the militia,” and the nationalization of the same, is explicitly Constitutional.
That is the type of reaction the No Kings protests was designed to address.
Unfortunately for the left, President Trump didn’t follow that path, and as a result, the No Kings protests had no traction.
They probably expected him to follow Jackson and Lincoln and defy the courts. But he never has. Instead, he is doggedly fighting back on their own terms, sometimes spending his own money. And he’s winning, as usual.
P.S.: The President is Constitutionally COMMANDED to apply these powers against “domestic violence.” If he sees it, he MUST act.
