IMO: The call for all Socialists and Communists to attend the “No Kings” marches and rallies by Hillary Clinton, Obama and others is a call of desperation.
Because the events of the past 9 months have been so successful for PDJT and the America First movement, the Communists, Anarchists, and One World Order are panicking . I think they are maybe starting their Color Revolution for the U.S ( they are having trouble deciding upon the color) way ahead of time. Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama and others are really pushing for the hardcore militant members to attend. They are losing their potential voting base of illegal immigrants by the hundreds, if not thousands at a rate that alarms them.
I hope the multitude of cities that have protests scheduled have prepared adequately for mayhem. I have seen some posters taking this lightly but I am not so sure. I hope very much I am wrong.
I believe all people have a right to peacefully protest and I am hoping that this will be the case. The first amendment is critical for everyone.
Yes. However, when billionaires sponsor them and openly encourage “protests” that are poised to turn very ugly very fast, that’s really not what our Founders had in mind.
Their most extreme “sponsorship,” as well we recall from 2020, was: “Antifa.” Which is actually a hundred-year old criminal enterprise from Germany which was very influential in installing Adolf Hitler. (Notice how the logo is essentially unchanged.)
“No Kings” is pointless anyway, because Trump has never followed Jackson and Lincoln to defy the Courts. He is, instead, fighting them on their own terms and often with his own money. He has played with the deck, no matter how it has been stacked against him.

The right to assemble and protest is certainly our right, but I also think our Founders believed it should be civil and not hostile.
I think sometimes you give an inch and they take a mile. Getting in people’s face verbally assaulting and sometimes physically assaulting is not a peaceful protest IMO. Throwing bricks and other devices, setting cop cars on fire, ramming police vehicles, blocking roads, occupying buildings and preventing people from normal activity and much more is not what our Founders had in mind.

Protests= peaceful means to measure possible force and determine if it should move forward.
Protest are always gauging the numbers and ability to overrun what you are opposing.

I was just telling my husband, these all look so staged. Like when I was a child and played cops & robbers. One side agrees to play the “good guys” and another group agrees to play the “bad guys.”

This is great news. Now we need to improve American manufacturing quality.
Part of the issue with reliability has to do with vastly over-engineered appliances. The probability of failure is exponential to the number of components you have and their individual probability of failure. If all your components have a 1% failure rate within the first year, and you have one component, your appliance will have a 1% failure rate in a year. If you have 100 components with 1% failure rate, your system will have a 67% fail rate within a year.
All the little “smart” features we add just make it less reliable.
And some of us would rather have the simpler items, less expensive and easier to understand how to use.
Less likely to have something go wrong and easier to repair when it does.
(Kind of like restaurant meals, always way more than one wants or needs.)

I had a repair call for a refrigerator a couple of months ago. Service man and I were talking about a certain brand of refrig. that a friend has and I know she has problem after problem with it. He said refrigerators are now made to use the new coolant which doesn’t work very well so the refrig. just works and works to keep everything cold and consequently it is worn out in about three years. So in the interest of making refrigerators that will last and last like the ones G.E. made 50 years ago, how about bringing back a coolant that will do the job without wearing out the unit. I always traded my G.E. refrigerators at 10 years of age to probably get another color but they never missed a beat keeping everything cold. Can I say too that I always bought my G.E. appliances at Sears for over 50 years. Now both are gone.

Thank you. Yes Sliwa had a couple unfortunate starts but I thought he shined despite the overt bias against him. I’m hoping he wins by an unexpected landslide. After listening to the whole thing I noticed that some articles didn’t barely mention him. I think that was a mistake and again, evidence of overt bias as well as cluelessness. I would vote for him just because media is discounting him but I do believe he’s the best candidate.

Well, it seems NYC is destined for socialism. What will follow is the destruction of the economy and more crime. Those that stay will have the benefit over lower housing prices at the cost of everything else.
But many will leave. They will flee that rat infested sinking ship. Some will head West, most will head South. Those that run will shift the demographics of their new found home states, but will likely bring their voting habits along with them. Can’t wait for the influx. Somebody will make money off it, but it won’t be me.

We don’t go back much anymore – there are other places we’d prefer to travel, but we still keep an interest in politics because of our investment.
