Patience, just wow…wow…The lack of a cmp is unacceptable in critical care. It would have shown acidosis, starvation, hyperkalemia, hyper magnesium, hyper calcemia, and a host of other things. That was flat out negligence. An ABG would have clarified respiratory and metabolic status.

British nurse, executed by German firing squad in Belgium during World War I at 49
Biography: Edith Cavell was already a respected nurse as Matron of Belgium’s first teaching hospital for nurses when World War I broke out in 1914. When her hospital was turned into a war hospital to treat soldiers she gained a name for treating both German and Allied soldiers equally.
When the German advanced took control of Belgium and her hospital she helped smuggle Allied troops out of Belgium though an underground tunnel in the hospital. German forces became suspicious and she was arrested in 1915. After confessing Cavell was tried at court martial, found guilty and sentenced to death along with others involved in the network. Despite international outrage she was executed by firing squad, then legal under international law.
After her death Cavell became a symbol of the Allied cause. When the war ended Cavell’s body was repatriated and a service was held in Westminster Abbey before being buried in Norwich Cathedral.

Trump can now terminate any commissioner who obstructs reform, dismantle ideological mandates, and reclaim executive control over agencies that have operated like private empires. The ruling sets a precedent that can sweep through every corner of the federal maze — FTC, SEC, NLRB, CDC, FDA, DOE. Hundreds of unelected operators who hid behind the term “independent” are now exposed.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is only the beginning. Nearly 700 positions across Washington fall under the same model. With this judgment, Trump holds the legal weapon he was denied in his first term. The sword is back in his hands.
Inside the Deep State, panic has already begun. For decades, they didn’t need to win elections. They only needed to control who stayed behind. By embedding loyal operatives inside untouchable posts, they guaranteed their agenda survived every presidency. They wrote laws under the cover of regulation. Protein is made up of Amino Acids (AA). Some AAs are Essential, meaning the body must have them, and some are semi essential, meaning some bodies need more of them than others.
IMHO, it is wrong to focus on one food. Protein, fats, vitamins, minerals and more make up life. Each food provides its own unique combination for our health and well being. we need all God’s food gifts

Protein is the most difficult basic nutrient to procure in a survival situation. A person will expend more calories obtaining protein than any thing else.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

Yep! That’s what I was doing. Having my single adult beverage of the day.
Put an octagonal table with center pedestal in it. Turn the wooden top over and it’s poker table. The four chairs are well padded and on casters, and rock or recline. That’s our spot for morning coffee to start the day and other times when we just want to relax away from the TV and look out over the fields to the east.
