French-born German engineer who invented the diesel engine, disappears at 55 aboard the ship Dresden in the English Channel
Biography: Rudolf Diesel created the diesel engine. This engine, which bears his name, remains widely used in various forms of transportation and industrial machinery.
Diesel was born in Paris to German parents where, at age 12, he received a bronze medal for his academic performance. He later moved to Germany and studied engineering at the Royal Bavarian Polytechnic of Munich under Carl von Linde.
After graduation, Diesel worked for Linde’s refrigeration company and then moved to Berlin to manage a refrigeration plant. During this time he first began developing ideas for a more efficient engine.
In 1892, Diesel started work on his new engine design. He aimed to create an engine more efficient than the steam engines of the time and after several years of development and testing, successfully demonstrated his engine in 1897.
Diesel married Martha Flasche in 1883, and they had three children. His engine design gained popularity, and he became wealthy from the royalties, however he faced criticism and legal disputes over his patents.
In 1900, Diesel further demonstrated that his engine could run on peanut oil, showing early interest in alternative fuels. His engine design was adopted for use in ships, locomotives, and factories.
On September 29, 1913, Diesel disappeared while traveling on the SS Dresden across the English Channel. His body was never positively identified and the circumstances surrounding this incident remain a mystery.
Diesel’s legacy lives on through the widespread use of diesel engines in transportation and industry. He was posthumously inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1978 in recognition of his significant contribution to automotive progress.

Tomorrow 11:00AM EST Trump and Bibi will meet. They will have a press conference at 1:15 PM. A critical meeting. All prayers are welcome for a good and honest outcome that will secure a good future for all the sides and long term security for Israel.
-There is a flotilla of 44 boats and yachts on its way to “break the blockade” of Gaza. Some from Arab nations like Tunisia and some Europeans. Spain said that they are sending a military navy ship to secure it. It will arrive on Thursday. Our Navy Seals will likely have to board it and arrest the travelers.
-A Senior Hamas Official has stated that Hamas demands to have an agreed upon mutual united government not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank. In other words, not only they want to be a part of the future Government of Gaza but also of the West Bank. LOL
-Another assassination of a Commander at 10/7 that was a part of the atrocities. Israel has a special Intel body that this is their job. I regularly hear about those participants of 10/7 getting eliminated. This one also kidnapped some of our hostages.
-A Ballistic Missile from the Hoothies in Yemen was intercepted.
-A terror attack in Judea and Samaria. A young soldier was intentionally ran over by a car.
The terrorist was eliminated, the soldiers died. RIP.
-IDF attacks munition storages in South Lebanon. Major explosions.

The biggest worry about this flotilla is that the Spanish and Italian navy ships will attack the Israeli Navy inside/or even fire on them from outside the territorial boundary (long range missiles) if the Israeli navy intercepts and boards these flotilla boats. Because there will be a fight back by the flotilla scum.
But hey – heres a thought–the Israeli navy should still bombard them with bacon!
This latest high profile effort by Greta Thunberg to enter Gaza gives the Israelis a wonderful opportunity. The Israelis can detain her and her colleagues; try them; and then sentence them to a period of custody equating to the period of time that Hamas continue to hold all remaining Israeli hostages, dead or alive.
That means Greta’s incarceration could be 5 minutes, 5 years or 10 years. It’s all up to Hamas.
Obviously there will be a lot of International pressure on Israel to release Greta and other activists once they are detained. She is a well known celebrity.

I am always and continually mystified when I hear western “leaders” discuss and push the idea of the “Two state solution”. In my humble opinion, that is an impossible pipe dream and one that any astute student of the situation would realize is unworkable. It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a two state solution when the stated goal of one of those two states is the total elimination of the other one. And by total elimination, they do not mean simply the dismantling of the government of the other state. They have clearly and frequently told us that they want everyone in the other state DEAD. Given that stated objective, how could any rational person think that you could solve the issue by simply creating two separate states?

Nothing has changed for Humberto except it is currently a Cat 4 with 140 mph winds as it goes through a eye wall replacement cycle. Track remains the same. Humberto is the 3rd Major hurricane in the Atlantic Basin and this is only the third time on record when the first three hurricanes to form in the Atlantic all became majors.
We now have Tropical Storm Imelda as the storm continues to strengthen as forecast. But the track for Imelda has changed showing the storm taking a Right Turn Clyde to the east, earlier than was shown yesterday. This is good news for the US as it shows the storm staying further from our shores. But it is not good news for Bermuda which now lies pretty much dead center of the warning track cone.
Imelda will continue to strengthen and though it will almost certainly be a hurricane as shown by the NHC it is unlikely to become a major hurricane. However if it happened to become a measure that would be the third time since 1850 that the first four hurricanes in the Atlantic were majors.

Hear my prayer, O Lord – please hear my cry;
Hide not Thy face from me – stand closely by;
Incline Thine ear to me – answer my call;
For I am helpless in my wherewithal!
My days are consumed – in pain, I move not;

I struggle to breathe – I implore Your aid;

The enemy plagues me both day and night;
His demons work to discourage me right;

Be it Your will – with Your power and might;
Remove this affliction – far out of sight;
Defeat the devil – his power disband;
Help me, Lord – with Your Healing Hand!
You called me, Lord – in Your Service to be;
Your minister, Lord – bring people to Thee;
How can I manage – for people to care?
With this heart sorely in need of repair?
I ask not for me this healing take place;
I ask not this suffering You erase;
I ask only to stand for You, O Lord;
To bring others to You in one accord!
If in this state, You still want me to serve;
If it be Your will, my heart you preserve;
Whatever you decide – I will endure;
With You by my side – of that I am sure!
Help me, Lord to accept what You decide;
In You and with You – I long to abide;
Through You and for You – my heart is alive;
Heal me, Lord – Help me – to live, love, and thrive!

In your kindness – Lord – come to my defense;
In your mercy – Lord – blot out my offense;
Wash me and cleanse me of my guilt, oh Lord;
Instill in my heart – the truth in Your Word!
My offenses – oh truly – I know them;
My sins ever – before me – You show them;
Against You alone – evil – I have done;
Empty – devoid of love – grace – I have none!
My shame I cover – hide my face – from You;
I have fallen short of Your Glory – it’s true;
Your forgiveness – I need Lord – and Your Grace;
The guilt in my heart – Lord – oh, please erase!

Renew in my heart – Your Grace steadfastly;
Replace guilt and shame – with Integrity!
You love a truthful heart – and sincerity;
No malice or forethought – no absurdity;

Empowerment – how to take up my sword!
Let me not waiver or wander afield;
To temptation and evil – let me not yield;
Keep me chaste and pure – throughout the day;
With faith in Your goodness – let me not stray!
Fill my heart with Your Love unconditionally;
Let my armor and shield work protectively;
To secure Your trust – indwelling Spirit;
To help me discern – decide – and intuit!
A pure heart – Oh, Lord – create within me;
A steadfast spirit – so pleasing to Thee;
For a contrite spirit – You would not spurn;
To be full of Your Grace – I long and yearn!
Separated from You – I cannot remain;
From even a trace of sin – I must refrain;

LOVE IN ACTION
Unexpected kindness touches the heart
A listening ear can yield a fresh start
When in a quandary of the feeling kind
Tis hard to explain what we left behind
Feelings are not facts justified away
Kept hidden from view for another day
Sooner or later they come into the light
Where the future is happier and bright
Where circumstances have mightily changed
And our flawed thinking has been rearranged
Angels surround us of the human kind
That reveal the truth to the human mind
When we speak from the heart no sound returned
We will find what God planned to be learned
We cannot know the perfect mind of God
We can only concur it is to be awed
His ways are not our ways nor ever will be
And His thoughts not what we can foresee
Where there seems to be no possible way
His love in action brings a brighter day
The sadness and loneliness is lifted
With a new sense of purpose we are gifted
Happiness returns and we’re flying high
To hopeless heartache the end draws nigh
God knows the beginning and the end
He knows recesses of the heart bend
When healing occurs and we are set free
The promise of tomorrow comes to be

Duchess, don’t know if you know this, but Abraham and Sarah were said to “make souls” – Abraham, the men and Sarah, the women. I believe you have been blessed with the same gift, which can only come by way of a pure heart. “Bird banding began in 1909, by Canadian naturalist Jack Miner, who wanted to know about bird migration. He put bands with his name and address and was surprised to get letters from distant hunters and other naturalists, revealing the birds were migrating far to the south in the winter and far to the north in the summer.
In 1914, he began stamping Bible verses on the bands, making the birds, ‘winged missionairies’…
“From the first time I stamped such a verse on a band, I felt the help of God and knew I now had my tagging system complete.”
Over the years, hunters wrote to Miner saying that the Bible verses had changed their lives. Eventually, a missionary from a remote region of Northern Canada came to visit Miner. The missionary stated that a revival had taken place among the Eskimos because of the Bible verses placed on the birds’ bands.”
