Good afternoon Patience. Is this particular comment meant for me? Sorry if I’ve not been on here much. Still trying to get the kittens re-homed but haven’t had much luck. My son is taking the only male that survived. I’ve still got 5 females and momma to re-home. Much as I would like to keep a few kittens, I am being realistic and will find them homes where they can be taken care of properly. Unfortunately my limited income restricts some of my most joyful pleasures, (having pets). Will have to restrict myself to my dog Beau and my old horse, Blue.
This adventure has taken a toll on my physical and emotional well being. As noted in a different thread, I am tall and thin and 75 years old and the stress of these past three weeks has knocked my weight down to 123 and it is showing big time. When I rode and took care of horses, and bucking hay bales, I was 125 and all muscle and tone and it did not look bad. Now, well not a good look for this senior!
I’ll try to respond more often as I do miss my CTH family.

A creature of habit and routine, boring…that’s me.
I am keeping up with a family on FB, old college friends of my youngest, the wife of which has a brain tumour, and two of their children have terrible immune issues. They are back and forth to Houston for treatments and surgeries, week in and week out, with no cures on sight and plenty of pain and ongoing effects.
But every post is uplifting and full of praise for the blessings they always seem to find.
And the reason I am telling you this…and myself…is one sentence in a lengthy update which she left was this…
“We pray for the mundane.”
…the routine, the boring. For me there is such comfort in both, as life has a way of delivering circumstances when I understand what gifts they are. None are immune from them as I know you know….and as I do at the moment.
I always told mine when they were young that they would come to appreciate the boring and routine, usually said as they were complaining about “nothing to do”… which wasn’t often, but still…the looks I got! 😂
Grown now with families of their own, oh boy!!! I often wonder if they remember my wise words…
I’m so glad you are boring, dear friend. I thought I might be the only one. Never change. ENJOY!!! 😘

Israel Update:
-Netanyahu gave a very strong speech In the UN. I am going to skip. It’s easy to locate online. If you ask me the public relations of Israel is awful and it’s not his job. We need strategic wins and wining the war. His actual challenge is to handle Trump to arrive at our desired outcome. And we are waiting to see the outcome. There are reports that Trump is fed up and wants to end this war. The question is how.
-Looks like Trump’s plan includes:
~ Releasing all the hostages for thousands of terrorists and a 100-200 with life sentences. This will be done in 48 hours.
~A gradual withdraw of the IDF.
~Entering unlimited aid by the UN and International Organizations.
~ US commitment to prevent Israel from annexing the Judea and Samaria.
~Arab entity will temporarily manage Gaza under the invitation of the Palestinian Authority.
~The PA will choose a committee that will manage Gaza.
~Palestinian forces will take care of security under Arab and International supervision.
~ 500-1000 meter unmanned perimeter around Gaza will buffer against invasions.
~Gaza will be restored by Arab money in over 5 years.
~The leaders of Hamas will be granted pardons in exchange to their retreat from Gaza and turning in their weapons. ~Palestine will take over Gaza after a defined period of time.
~ There will be a call to direct negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
This information arrived from Saudis who were involved. It is not 100% confirmed but looks right as it is the 21 points plan that was discussed.
This is not a good plan as the PA will be boss with a transition of Arab nations supervising. The PA is something that Israel opposes and I explained it many times. They too seek the destruction of Israel. Security in any other hands then the IDF is doomed to fail. I wonder if the US would have granted a pardon to the perpetrators of 9/11.

If this is true and final then it’s not good. It also gives the UN control of the aid. The UN are enemies.
I feel for Bibi who will have to stand against it. If there can be some amendments maybe it can be agreeable to some degree. The PA must be reformed and for real with no manipulations as they tend to do. Hate education, money for terrorists, calling schools and streets on the names of terrorist all should change. But still the PA is a minority. The more radicals are having the support of the people. If it’s based on lies it can’t succeed. If the Palestinians are all about “From the River to the Sea” (annihilating Israel), then the premise of seeking a peaceful outcome is a lie.
I doubt that Hamas will agree to disarm and leave. God hardened the heart of our enemies. As I said before it’s not in their DNA but with a full pressure of the Arab world there is a small chance that it will happen. We shall see.
The main advantage is that we will get the hostages and end the war. It opens the doors for Israel to turn around and resume the war if the other side is out of control.
Everything depends on what will happen with Bibi and Trump when they meet tomorrow.
A bad deal will be the demise of Bibi in future elections and his party. He is facing a challenge.
This could mean a good plan if the other side was well intentioned but it’s not.
God help Netanyahu and Trump to make the correct decision and God bring us a good future.
Two possibilities (among so many others). 1. The PA has a tacit arrangement with Hamas which doesn’t disappear but, instead, insinuates itself once again into the Gaza body politic. It will then bide it time and, at some future date, again attack Israel.
2. Israel and the modern Islamic governments recognize that they are both equally threatened by radical Islamic fundamentalism—there is no room in that fundamentalist worldview for either modern Islamic governments or Israel.
Effectively Israel and the modern Muslim states are equally in the cross-hairs of fundamentalist Islam. As a result there could be a tacit, very discrete, mutual understanding that Hamas cannot be allowed to reassert itself.
It will be in the mutual interest of all non fundamentalist parties to co-operate in insuring that Hamas (and laterally Iran) does not regain power. To keep this discrete alliance together will demand US support. Otherwise the world will undoubtedly experience another Oct. 7 attack.
Thanks! Hamas and the PA hate each other. When Hamas won the elections in Gaza, way back, the first thing they did was throwing their opposition off rooftops and executions. Their opposition was what we call now the PA.
As to moderate Arab nations who may oppose Hamas?
Turkey and Qatar are Muslim Brotherhood ideology. This means, spreading Islam by all means. Hamas was also Muslim Brotherhood.
The Saudis and Egypt have the Muslim Brotherhood outlawed. Jordan too. The Saudis could make peace with Israel one day. But they consider themselves the leaders of Islam and therefore will not do something so unpopular now days as a peace with Israel. We will have to wait. They want a Palestinian State as a condition basically.
I’d be less concerned about the ability to dictate reform of societal constructs in Gaza as much as laying down the law on future armed conflict:
… any cross-border fire, rockets, sabotage from Gaza to southern Israel and it’s “gloves off” again and military retaliation to the tune of 10-to-1 the initial transgression.
Then, closely monitor any future construction to ensure tunnels aren’t once again rebuilt, and monitor and map with satellites and on-ground sources and if any such military functionality is rebuilt, have it hit with precision-guided arms that are up to the task and all targeting done ahead of time.
What Israel does NOT want is a repeat of unrestrained rocket bombardment from the south into Israel
Basically: “We’re not f#cking around anymore, we won’t tolerate a repeat of that tunnels-and-rockets game we allowed to play out last time”

Irish-English stage and screen actor (The Singing Detective; Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series), dies of pneumonia at 82
Biography: Michael Gambon is an Irish-English actor, best known today for his portrayal of Professor Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series (2004-2011). While the role was initially played by Richard Harris, Gambon took over after his death.
He began his career as a stage actor, appearing in many productions of works by William Shakespeare. Gambon also had a long and successful television career, most notably “The Singing Detective” (1986), which won him a BAFTA for Best Actor.
Since making his film debut with Othello (1965) alongside Laurence Olivier and Maggie Smith, Gambon has played a variety of roles in films such as Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) and Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009).

Biography: Maggie Smith achieved success as an actress on stage, in film, and on television over a career spanning more than seven decades. She came to global fame with her roles as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter film series and Violet Crawley in “Downton Abbey.”
Smith began her acting journey in 1952 at the Oxford Playhouse. She made her Broadway debut in 1956 with “New Faces of ’56.” In 1962, Smith joined the National Theatre Company, working alongside Laurence Olivier.
Her film career took off in the late 1960s. Smith won her first Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” (1969). She secured a second Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in “California Suite” (1978).
Smith married actor Robert Stephens in 1967. They had two sons, both of whom became actors. The couple divorced in 1975. Later that year, she married playwright Beverley Cross, remaining with him until his death in 1998.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Smith faced health challenges. She was diagnosed with Graves’ disease in 1988 and breast cancer in 2007. She recovered from both conditions and continued her acting career.
Smith gained worldwide recognition for her role as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011). She further increased her popularity by portraying Violet Crawley in “Downton Abbey” (2010-2015), winning three Emmy Awards for her performance.
After an 11-year absence from the stage, Smith returned in 2019 with “A German Life.” She continued to act in films and television into her last years, with appearances in “A Boy Called Christmas” (2021) and “Downton Abbey: A New Era” (2022), before her death in 2024.

Hurricanes transport thermal energy from the tropics towards the poles and in doing so dissipate a considerable portion of it. All weather is a result of a chaotic system striving to achieve a balance it can never obtain.
I go to TBN Israel and Yair Pinto for daily updates on the Gaza War. For months at least a half a year…. they ask for like and subscribe and pass around their comments as “we are winning the war but losing the propaganda battle”.
They know the Islamists have been effective in turning the next generation into Jew haters. You see it on college campuses. You see it on the news. The Jews are hated like no other people on earth. They may be the only people that are hated by everyone else.
Israel needs our protection without it all traces of the start of Christianity would be wiped off the face of the earth. You see it starting in the US with Islamist kneeling in roads and public places to begin the process of conquering us. Islam is a governing philosophy. It must be removed root and branch from the US.

“Confidence in prayer. (1-7) Prayer for remission of sins. (8-14) For help in affliction.” (15-22)
(1-7) “In worshipping God, we must lift up our souls to him. It is certain that none who, by a believing attendance, wait on God, and, by a believing hope, wait for him, shall be ashamed of it. The most advanced believer both needs and desires to be taught of God. If we sincerely desire to know our duty, with resolution to do it, we may be sure that God will direct us in it. The psalmist is earnest for the pardon of his sins. When God pardons sin, he is said to remember it no more, which denotes full remission. It is God’s goodness, and not ours, his mercy, and not our merit, that must be our plea for the pardon of sin, and all the good we need. This plea we must rely upon, feeling our own unworthiness, and satisfied of the riches of God’s mercy and grace. How boundless is that mercy which covers forever the sins and follies of a youth spent without God and without hope! Blessed be the Lord, the blood of the great Sacrifice can wash away every stain.”

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
