I got a little teary-eyed watching this. I was born and raised in New England. I can almost smell the leaves crunching and feel the soft drier air buffeted by a soft breeze.
We have an 11,000 ft mountain within 10 minutes of where we live, and leaves do indeed change- but, sadly, not with the same variety of palette.
I have planted 2 red oaks on our property. One is at about 50ft now, and turns brilliant eye-popping red each fall. I sit beneath it with an adult beverage, close my eyes, and breathe in fall! 😊 Thanks! ❤️

-Trump met Erdogan the leader of Turkey. Trump is giving him a lot of affinity and calls him “friend”, treats him with the outmost respect. This is beyond my understanding. The man is Muslim Brotherhood, imprisons and kills political opponents, hosts and supports Hamas. It’s hard to grasp this relationship. But, at one point Trump talked about the rigged elections and said: “No one knows of rigged elections better than him”. LOL. I don’t think that Erdogan got it.
The question is, does Erdogan trying to “buy” Trump with $50 billion?
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is visiting the White House today for the first time in six years, bringing with him a package of deals aimed at repairing strained relations between the two countries.
During his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, Erdogan is expected to present a series of deals he wishes to advance, including purchases of fighter jets from Lockheed Martin and commercial planes from Boeing. In addition, Turkey is seeking a deal to import American liquefied natural gas. The total value of the deals Erdogan plans to offer Trump is estimated at more than $50 billion, according to Turkish sources.
Reports in Turkey state that Erdogan views the visit as an opportunity to repair relations damaged by Ankara’s purchase of Russian weapons and by diplomatic tensions between the two countries on a range of issues.
-Trump was asked if he will sell the F35s to Turkey. He says that maybe, depends on what he will get in return. There is something that Trump wants. I think it’s beyond money.
-Journalist: Will you allow Israel to annex the West Bank?
Trump: “I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. I will not. There has been enough, it’s time to stop now.”
Note: First it is Judea and Samaria not “The West Bank”. The place of ancient Judea and many of the prophets. My main issue is with the tone and the “enough” and “stop now”.
I told you that I was concerned of the meetings with all the Arab leaders and their attempt to save Hamas. Plus he met Macron and the British Progressive Leader too.
Our soldiers sacrificed in order for the next generations to have safety and not deal with another 10/7 or such. I can only pray and hope that Bibi will be able to handle it.
If he managed to cause the Arabs to persuade Hamas to give the hostages and leave and disarm then wonderful. But Hamas is far from agreeing to it. Maybe Turkey will take them. We shall see.
-Iran apparently did an experiment with an Intercontinental Ballistic missile. This means they want to threaten the US too. This is from Associated Press.
-Israel responded to the Hoothi drone attack and bombed their military headquarters in their capital City, other bases and a storage of drones. Over 65 bombs on various targets.
-Microsoft blocked Israeli Military Intelligence from access to their cloud. Tones of videos and recordings of communications in Gaza. This is a reaction to an Israeli vile Leftish publication. A damage to national security. I know that they expected it and saved the data. I assume that they will solve it somehow. This is similar to your NSA but the spying is on enemy territories.
-A brand new report: Hamas officially said that they will not disarm even after a ceasefire, they will stay in Gaza and take a part in ruling. This is a complete sabotage of all the delusions that were sold to Trump. It means that no Arab force will send troops to Gaza.
Israel will never agree to leave Hamas in power. It means that all our soldiers fell for nothing.
I hope that Trump will understand the deception that was pushed on him by some West European leaders and Arabs. There is some chance that intense Arab pressure can achieve something but I sense deception and trying to push Israel to lose the war for the hostages with some “half solution”. Did I say in my last update that God hardened the heart of the enemy to enable us to complete the job?
-There is a talk in Israel about “operational control of Gaza City” as soon as next week.
If you remember I told you that this term can be deceiving as the thousands of terrorists are under ground. It has only began. Some of the leftish side of the higher command of the IDF may try to use this term for PR. But we know better. We are heading for a difficult couple of months. Maybe three to four months of clearing up the area and the underground.
-Saudi Arabia is saying it will Aid the Palestinian Authority with some 90 million dollars.
The Saudis are likely those who together with Turkey influenced Trump. The PA is operating on the same premise of Hamas of destroying Israel and educating terrorists.
A few days ago when the Europeans recognized Palestine the leader of the PA gave a Zoom speech. He said all that the West wanted to hear. Talked about taking over Gaza, disarming Hamas, peace…. Hamas responded to it with serious disdain. Mocked him. He has no power, they didn’t have elections for decades because they know that Hamas or another terror organization will win. They still pay salaries to terrorist according to how many Israelis they murdered. I know some in MAGA don’t get it. Thinking that the Saudi Prince is some great guy and so is the Egyptian leader or Turkish. Those are all dictators who kill their opposition. The Saudi had a journalist sawed to pieces in an embassy. Erdogan just imprisoned his potential opponent the mayor of Istanbul for some fake accusations.
Yes, we have peace with Egypt. But it is not peace, I would call it “no war”. Not peace.
Only a decisive victory against Hamas will bring about peace treaties. But if you ask me, peace like with Egypt Jordan is overrated. They still hate us and educate to hate us. And one day they will flip. But a peace like with the UAE is the real deal. It’s warm and cooperative. Anything less than it is overrated and just buys are some time with no war.
May God help us achieve a positive conclusion to this war. Amen.

He was sawed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul Turkey.

Today, Benjamin Netanyahu will be speaking at the UNGA. Personally I wish he wouldn’t be even though I know how important it is that he does.
So far this week, we’ve seen that something has been planned for this event. Between the mass SIM attack that was foiled and found to electricity and power cables being cut and various incidences at the building itself like the escalator and teleprompter debacles that affected Trump which I think were dry runs for something bigger, something has been planned for this event.
If they try take out Netanyahu, it is symbolic that it would be done on US soil with America being our closest ally. It would impact and hurt America’s image in a way that little else could.
And if there’s one country you’d want to plan an attack in, it’s America, because if the last few months alone have shown us anything, it’s that planning and executing assassinations and attacks on US soil seems easy. In a place like New York or any Blue State, the police are nowhere to be found, there is always the distraction of mass protests stretching resources, and G-D knows America has allowed enough enemies to infiltrate it for so long that they simply couldn’t cope with stopping anything.
So I’m honestly concerned that they’re going to try. What better place to do it than a building in a city filled with hate for Israel and where that building itself is a place of such intense hatred for Jews and Israel run by an organization that literally is a terrorist entity that is complicit in every attack on our country and existence for the past 70 years. It’s not even that the UN would allow it on its premises, but they’d pay for it and coordinate it and then use their status to cover it up and deflect from it.
I’ve felt for a month that something bad is coming. And I get nervous every time Netanyahu goes to the US. If they tried to take his life, this wouldn’t be game of Cluedo, because Qatar and Turkey and every Arab state have paid hundreds of billions to so many countries to hate us.
I will say this though… going after our PM won’t defeat us. If anything, it will set off a series of events that will change the world. It would be a declaration of war in a way the entire Arab world will feel. It will eradicate what teeny tiny glimmer of sympathy or empathy or care any of our main leaders have for world opinion.
I’m looking forward to what Netanyahu has to say, and I just hope for what little is left of sanity in this world that nothing happens to him. Even G-D won’t be able to stop what comes if anything does.

Felt like you did 2 verses (days) ago David – yesterday. Often, when one looks at the world, everybody is seemingly oblivious to anything outside of their “bubble” (perhaps we all are). Most buried in their phone, next to each other. But, then, a new day (a new verse) curtsy the Creator, the sun is shining, Spring is here (hopefully) and I’m off for a walk along the shore – maybe bump into Elijah (nickname I have for a homeless guy) which/who always reminds me of how good I’ve actually got it. Nothing like a bit of “There by the grace of God go I” to remind us. Anyway it’s like a roller coaster, up and down – although, I must admit there are times I wanna get off. David, there are times that President Trump makes me a little angry, and his comment on the “West Bank” is one of those times. Now I am a nobody in man’s eyes, hopefully much more than that in God’s eyes 🙂 Our president needs a lesson in the fact that Israel knows better what is good for Israel than Trump ever could know. Here are some weaknesses I see that Israel needs to address sooner rather than later. 1. Develop all possible natural resources to gain financial independence. 2. NEVER give up land. 3. Develop military production to the extent that war could be fought without aid from the US. 4. Encourage Jews to keep and open mind to the fact that individual Christians have been given the spiritual blessings promised under the New Covenant to Israel. Hurricane heads up keep your eyes on the weather if you’re in South Eastern US for next several days.
Potential hurricane Imelda (AL94 tropical wave) could lead to inland flooding to SE USA.
Hurricane Camille 1969 showed how quickly a tropical depression can intensify in the area of Cuba and spell trouble for the USA. Camille caused 267 deaths total but 115 of those deaths were due to inland flooding from remnants of the storm. 113 deaths in Nelson County, Va alone from 27 inches of rain inside 5 hours.
One report described what happened in Nelson County, Va like this:
In late August, 1969, Hurricane Camille produced a once-in-10,000-years inland storm with the strength of a 40,000-megaton nuclear bomb that nearly destroyed Nelson County, Va.
This could all happen very quickly if the early predictions of Imelda coming ashore in general area of Carolinas and then stalling. Time to be aware and keep watch is now.

It is generally agreed that Christ’s discourse in this and the next chapter was at the close of the last supper, the night in which he was betrayed, and it is a continued discourse, not interrupted as that in the foregoing chapter was; and what he chooses to discourse of is very pertinent to the present sad occasion of a farewell sermon. Now that he was about to leave them,
Christ having spoken of the great opposition which his gospel was likely to meet with in the world, and the hardships that would be put upon the preachers of it, lest any should fear that they and it would be run down by that violent torrent, he here intimates to all those that were well-wishers to his cause and interest what effectual provision was made for supporting it, both by the principal testimony of the Spirit (v.26), and the subordinate testimony of the apostles ( v.27), and testimonies are the proper supports of truth.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

It’s crazy that exactly 1 year after Helene, we are talking about another multi-day rainfall event for the Carolinas. This map shows 6-10″ possible across central NC/VA from: TODAY-Sunday:
PRE event (tropical moisture into front) Mon/Tue: 94L potential landfall Tue-Thu: Possible stall due to Humberto’s influence Key difference: This is 6-10″ over 5-7 DAYS, not hours.
Helene dropped 30″ in a day. Still concerning for flooding, especially urban areas and rivers, but this is NOT a mountain catastrophe scenario.
I like this take and actually I expect no more but would be quite happy if something punitive would happen to those they have evidence of insubordination against.

BTW Humberto will likely become a Major Hurricane today (CAT III) and is likely to eventually be a CAT IV. Near perfect conditions with 80+ deg, water temperatures along it’s projected path.

I stand corrected. Another version my son sent me to correct me, which I did not sea did have the storm. ALL OUT TO SEA. So if this turns into a high impact event, I still better not hear how it nailed it. Of course if it stays out at sea, then great job. I gotta get this link. The Trees around my new seniors (1980s) apartment complex hold themselves aloof with majestic grace. I could not help but notice that they are very old. However, they are discrete and don’t comment on the numbers of ‘old tenants’ they have observed come and go over the years.
While a number of us walk, none seem to pause and admire their stately beauty. The wide spreading limbs of one old Pine, which is bare of needles in the middle, seems to provide a stairway to Heaven.
The leaves on the deciduous trees have a tinge of fall at their edges. They twitter on their branches and deliver a gentle puff of wind to my cheek. I thank them and they seem to smile with more whispered rustling.
As I walk I am sometimes presented with a low hanging hand, which I graciously embrace and say thank you for lending me energy to complete my walk.
Trees are lovely companions on this earth.
We loved our trees… Savannah would name them. 🌳
