Put yourself in Patel’s position. Let’s imagine you are you, and you have some idea of what has been going on but you’re meeting resistance and the evidence you need is being hidden from you. But you have to show cause AND identify all in terms of who did what.
If you’re out there in public announcing you’re going to “clean house!” firing everyone you know who was involved, you’re going to miss a LOT of corruption and VENGEANCE waiting to happen.
