This is intentionally a quiet place. We hope the presence of Our Lord will inspire a little faith. Our Lord loves us and want’s us to be a part of His Family. Israel Update:
It has been a while since I posted an update.  I was pulled to personal things that required time.  I think I can update now with more accuracy than most available media. 

–Gaza: What I have to say here is unusual because typically an update should state facts with certainty and I am going to state something else.  With all honesty there are two schools of thought about the imminent eatery of the IDF into Gaza City which Bibi said will bring Hamas close to defeat.  And the schools of thoughts are on both sides of the politics:  

One school says: “It’s necessary, soon Hamas will be close to collapse, Gaza City is the center of gravity. Soon in will be over.  We have no more credit from Trump, he expects an end of the war, when we defeat them the world will chill and we can move into peace deals with the Saudis and others.”

The second school says: “This is just another of the same, you can’t let them evacuate  including Hamas and expect a victory, it’s a massive urban area that will cost many IDF lives, hostages may die, without a siege of food and supplies it’s better not to enter.  We will have another International PR disaster.”

So who is right? With all honesty I can’t tell.  Usually when one can’t tell the truth is in the middle.  But I can’t tell and time will tell. At this point we need to pray for the young soldiers who will have to go into the Gaza City soon.  

Where it stands?  From some 800,000 or so residents only 100,000-200,000 evacuated yet.  Hamas was threatening and prevented evacuation, published a demand to stay and protect Hamas with their bodies.  Now I see a serious evacuation going on.  It may take some days.  The IDF designated an area in Khan Yunis (South Gaza) for humanitarian zone.  
The area will have tents, water lines from Israel, electricity, field hospitals and Aid Centers.  

Yesterday the IDF evacuated some tall buildings in Gaza City and demolished it from the air.  The IDF says that they have Intel that Hamas is using the tall buildings for observation, command and snipers.  Also that tunnels emerge out by the buildings. 

Again, in days enough will leave the area and expect the IDF to increase firepower for days and move in.  There is probably knowledge of where some of the hostages are and the areas will be surrounded.  

Reports of about 50-100 killed in Gaza per day in the past week.  

-A report from the US: The US clarified to Hamas that if hostages die, Hamas leadership overseas will die.  Note: And I ask: Why are they alive?   Note: It’s the relationship of Trump with Qatar and Turkey, the hosts of Hamas.  Looks like the subject is on the table.  That’s good.  

-UK, France and Belgium are expected to announce a Palestinian State this month and some others are on the fence like Canada and Australia.  

In Israel there were signals that there is going to be a retaliation and Israel will announce sovereignty/annexation over parts of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).  The US signaled that it may agree.  Today the Saudis with the UAE met and the UAE is now threatening that such action will endanger the Abraham Accord.  It seems but not sure that Bibi will back off on this.  Specially if Trump will worry about it.  But note that the Saudis are a key player who pushed into existence this move of the European recognition of Palestine. The Saudis are not so innocent as they appear to be in some of the West.  

–Lebanon: The US is still pushing for “disarming Hezbollah or else”.  This subject is another one of those that I must say “We shall see”.  On one hand they seem to want it.  On the other hand they seem to be manipulative in pretending to “intend” and “make progress” but extend the timeline forever.  So on one hand we can thank God that we got to this point, a couple of years ago no one dared even talking about it in Lebanon and now there is an intent.  

-There is an Intel report from the US that Hezbollah has rebuilt their power to 30% more than after they got hit.  Their policy of quiet and none response is calculated. Iran is taking care of them.  We wonder if Israel will have to go after them again in Beirut. Israel does have a stats of killing one every couple of days.  Mainly in South Lebanon.  It may be that only Israel can disarm them.  

-If you ever saw, there is a famous video from 10/7 of a terrorist calling his parents all excited telling them how he “with his own hands murdered some 10 Israelis” and they praise him.  This is a famous video I will post in my Rumble channel if you missed it. 
Anyways the new is that we got him.  He is dead.  We have a long memory, we will get them all. Last week we got the captor of our female soldiers who was holding them before they were released in a deal.  They were happy and said that “he was a monster”.  

–Houthis: After we killed most of their Government they sent some missiels that blew up on the way and some drones that were intercepted.  By the way they constantly lie on their media as if they are constantly succeeding.  As to the fate of the War Minister and Chief of Staff.  It is unknown yet.  I suspect that the Chief of Staff is alive but not sure.  

–Spain announced an arms embargo against Israel. Also declared Bibi “an unwanted personality” and pulling back their ambassador.  Previously they canceled a multi million arms deal that we were suppose to sell them.  In Spain there are some of the largest and most passionate pro Hamas demonstrations, a lot.  As a note, in 1492 there was the Spanish Expulsion of its Jews. 100,000-200,000 Jews left and lost their homes and businesses.  
many others who stayed were forced to convert 3000-5000 were executed many went through extreme torture.  It was all religious based persecution.  Some things never change.

Today is one year to Beeper Day. A historic day. There are still no verified report of the damage.
According to Routers about 1,500 terrorists were badly wounded and went out of ability to function as combatants. Number of killed is also hard to tell. It’s around 30. It was sophisticated and mainly only terrorists were targeted. Many lost limbs, fingers and eyes. It was calculated to explode a few seconds after the beep. About 3000-5000 exploded simultaneously, about 2750 wounded at all levels. The next day the Walkie-talkie operation followed. Exploding devices caused about 30 to get killed and about 750 to get wounded. Two days after that Nasrallah the leader of Hezbollah was assassinated with their Commander of the South Command, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Brig. General over operations was killed too and other Senior Commanders of Hezbollah. Following his potential replacer and another one too were assassinated too a week or so later. The war was won by Mossad and the IAF (Israeli Air Force).

Yesterday I started a fire in the fire pit with hardwood. The Steve and I got out the pie makers, you know the kind you hold over the fire? We washed them up and got them ready.

I set up three chairs and an aluminum fold out table by the fire.

Corbin came with the bread, pizza sauce, a jar of mushrooms, cooked and crumbled Italian sausage, spray butter, sliced black olives, sliced pepperoni, and even a little can of anchovies for me. I had plenty of shredded Mozzarella, and cherry pie filling.

So we had a great time making our own dinners with desert out by the fire. And talked until 23:00.

It was wonderful. Been at least a decade since we did that.

Steve made three pizza with and polished it off with a cherry pie.
Corbin had two pizza and polished it off with a cherry pied.
I had an anchovy pizza, and then a sausage, and then a pepperoni, and polished it off with a cherry pie.

Greetings Treepers!

I am flying out today to see my father which will probably be the last time I see him in the land of the living.

I’m grieved that he doesn’t express love and adoration for my Savior Jesus Christ.

He taught me how to aggressively work, fight, fish n hunt, etc.

When his wife (my Mama!) of over 60 years passed, it left, and has left a lasting warmness and thankfulness for her.

The thought of losing my father is much different. It’s more like a big gaping chasm of…whatever. For my children and others, I hope I can properly model how to handle the situation.

Please pray that I adequately express my love and respect for my Dadio, as I deliver the gospel of grace to him.

“The apostle exhorts Timothy to persevere with diligence, like a soldier, a combatant, and a husbandman. (1-7) Encouraging him by assurances of a happy end of his faithfulness. (8-13) Warnings to shun vain babblings and dangerous errors. (14-21) Charges to flee youthful lusts, and to minister with zeal against error, but with meekness of spirit.” (22-26)

(1-7) “As our trials increase, we need to grow stronger in that which is good; our faith stronger, our resolution stronger, our love to God and Christ stronger. This is opposed to our being strong in our own strength. All Christians, but especially ministers, must be faithful to their Captain, and resolute in his cause. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

But AI is not weightless. It runs on football-field-sized data centers, packed with servers that must run day and night. These machines use staggering amounts of electricity and water to stay cool. A Google search consumes about 0.3 watt-hours of electricity. An AI chatbot query can use up to ten times more—around three watt-hours.

Training a single large AI model consumes as much electricity as hundreds of U.S. homes use in a year.

Despite the technological advancements, computing power is not getting more efficient in terms of power usage. It is becoming ever more energy-hungry. For example, Nvidia’s latest chips draw more kilowatts per server than previous generations to help data centers keep up with demand.

The silent stage for this race is the U.S. electric grid, and American citizens are now forced to share their access to it. The White House itself admits that “the U.S. electric grid is one of the largest and most complex machines on Earth.”

It is also a machine under strain. The United States has three major grids: Eastern, Western, and Texas. Within those supergrids, electricity is managed by regional operators like PJM in the Mid-Atlantic, MISO in the Midwest, CAISO in California, and ERCOT in Texas. Today, the average household experiences one or two short outages a year, mostly from storms. But the Department of Energy now warns of a hundred-fold increase in blackout risk by 2030 if data center growth continues and plants keep closing on schedule.

Just as families once endured rationing and shortages for the Manhattan Project, today’s citizens are being asked to bear the unseen costs of an AI race they never chose. And as with the Manhattan Project, the greatest sacrifices will not be made in Washington boardrooms but in American households.

Smiling Sunny Sunday

As a boy, I recognized that the beautiful natural world and abundant life were created and felt awe, joy and appreciation. As a teenager, I spoke, from my heart, to God to express my gratitude for his creation, my life, and sending his son Jesus for our redemption; to ask forgiveness of my sins through Jesus and repent; to make my heart pure for Jesus to live and shine his light, truth and courage through me; and guide my life. The next day, I arrived home to find that my father had left. I felt stunned but also calm. One year later, I was injured playing a sport, ending all school athletics for me. I began to live only within the confines of the tangible world and popular culture while neglecting my spiritual dimension, drifting away from who I am as a person with little inner happiness. My life was off course and going nowhere. Then, I received a tremendous gift of love from my future wife coming into my life. Soon after, a phone call with my mom regarding the continuing bad effects of their divorce caused me to clearly see and feel the true sadness of my family break-up, and I sobbed uncontrollably, finally releasing my pent-up feelings. I earnestly prayed to renew my relationship with Jesus/God and specifically and clearly asked for guidance for my life. A few weeks later, my future wife asked me what I really wanted to become. The answer came up out of me as if it had been there all along waiting to be acknowledged as though I had been hardwired to follow a course but was only then realizing it. From that point forward, all I needed to do was my best through the challenges and sometimes struggles that awaited me, and I was provided with the strength and support to succeed in a career and provide for my future family. During our wedding ceremony at the church, I was unexpectedly overcome by what I believe was the Holy Spirit, the power and intensity of which felt stronger than love. Witnessing my children being born granted a rare glimpse into the miracle and truth of creation, with no faith needed, and that love is the most powerful force on earth as I would give up my life, in an instant, without any hesitation, to protect my child and spouse. When each of two elderly family members passed away, there was a surprising sense of peace, a holy peace, that permeated the entire room at the moment of death, and for several minutes after, that all those present felt and acknowledged in whispers. Right after my mom’s funeral driving home, I received a clear, telepathic communication in her voice that said, “It’s okay honey, I’m alright”, which is exactly the way she would say it. Looking back, it is clear to me that a path was provided for my life that fit me and was beyond chance or self-realization. The contrast between before versus after receiving the gift of my wife, renewing my relationship with Jesus/God and asking for guidance was too great to attribute to me alone or random events.

French hospitals have been advised to prepare for a large scale war by next year, in a government letter that was leaked to the media.

My son and I were doing some preseason scouting and at a clear cut came across a railroad track that 2 trees had grown around and raised the track about 10 to 12 feet off the ground. The track had then been used as a meat pole by hunters.

Way back before diesel engines, steam engines were used with the logging industry. They would lay tracks and bring in equipment. I think they ended that back in the 1930s and 1940s.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
 
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
 
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
 
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance

Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
 
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
 
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.
 
And so now Lord, I commit this night to you, asking that I would rest soundly and wake refreshed and strong to do Your bidding. This I ask in Jesus’ precious name,

Prayer Of Thanksgiving In The Evening

Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
 
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
 
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
 
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful nights sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Guard all those that I love and may we all grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in the days that lie ahead. This I ask in His precious name,

I found new trees

I went for a walk around my ‘new’ apartment complex. Along the way I met some very beautiful and very old trees.

The long needle pines provided an interesting artistic framework above. They were cut high above the ground, so I could not tap into their earth and sky flow. I did notice, however, that they have very large limbs and it would take two of me to reach around the bole. I found myself wondering ,,, how long have they adorned this earth?

Three different deciduous trees greeted me. I will have to ‘adopt’ a leaf from each to find their names. One had a beautiful bounty of red berries.

Lastly, I met a green spruce. It had been pruned into an unusual but simple and handsome shape … pointed at the top, spreading middle and tapering down to the soil. It has obviously been ‘tended to’ for many years as no limbs were showing anywhere. Just the lovely, soft spruce needles.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and his family as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace. 

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall. Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.

And prayers up for all political prisoners. Prayers up for Julian Assange and for all the protesters of January 6 who were or are entrapped in DC.

Thank you Father, for Your love and the gift of Life.

A prayer for members of the CTH that they remain strong and clear thinking and that the site remain a bastion of freedom and continue to spread the facts of our current dilemma to millions in this country and across the globe. That the light of freedom inspired by our Creator and enshrined in our founding never be extinguished by acts of man.
