There’s a sob story going around this morning about a Korean musician detained by ICE. What’s frustrating is having to go through 5 articles to find the real story:
– father enters the US on a student visa
– brings family into US on a travel visa, including young son (born in Korea)
– all visas expire, applies for DACA during Obama admin
– son enters public school system, graduates, goes to college for music in Utah
– in 2019, father dies, son (31) in mourning, son gets a DUI , finishes probation no issue
– during COVID, laid off from orchestra, now out of work
– DACA revoked by Trump admin (also, cannot have DACA with arrest record)
– marries childhood friend, doesn’t meet combined minimum income requirements for green card. Unclear if applied and rejected, or never completed
– now 37, goes into telecom (no mention of Edgar employer background checks) for income to reapply for green card
– while on a job for telecom, tries to enter an Army base for repair work, is flagged by their background check process
– detained by ICE for expired visas and DUI arrest record
– has since raised money for bond

Concerning our loss of Freedom to an ever-expanding government in the last c. 100 years…
History has seen all of this before: political or military leaders, advisors, bureaucrats, whoever it may be in government, illogically claiming that to protect Freedom of Speech or Freedom of Religion or Freedom of Association or any kind of freedom, those freedoms will need to be restricted, restricted somewhat at first, but then restricted ever more, until Freedom in general disappears.
The Russian Communists/Bolsheviks* in 1917 moved rather quickly to end Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech, and to control the economy via “War Communism.” Other freedoms were removed as they eliminated their opposition: opposition to Communism itself became illegal!
The Nazi extermination of the Jews began gradually: Jews had to wear a badge at first, then they were not allowed to be on the streets at certain times, their businesses were increasingly restricted, until they were hemmed in and began disappearing into the death camps. Non-Jewish Germans, unfortunately, did not protest these illegal and immoral restrictions, and so the Nazis were successful.
As in the famous litany by Pastor Martin Niemöller, First They Came, the Nazis “came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a trade unionist.”
The same claims will be heard for a national economy, that to “save the economy” one must devalue the currency, restrict free markets, control wages, mandate prices, print more money, all of which are policies guaranteed and historically proven to destroy an economy.
It is high time for every American to speak out against The Deep State, to demand the prosecution of those in The Deep State who have committed crimes, even those who were complicit in furthering the crimes planned by superiors.

I’ve said before (often) that when I read of AI, I see it and its sudden, hurried development as Anti-Christic. As the days roll on, it appears that not one of us will be able to avoid its insidious intrusion into ever aspect of our lives. A slow, creeping reduction of human interaction, until the “need” for humanity at all becomes nowt.
There are costs all right…
And not all can be measured in terms of money.
Which I am divining that the developers/drivers of this technology on some level understand perfectly. And worse, intend to accomplish at speed. satan’s time in his kingdom is short, and he knows it.
The currency for AI is the human soul, our most precious currency which we must protect at all costs. The price for mine is set, is non negotiable, and has already been paid by my Saviour, Christ Jesus.
My view of AI not only remains but becomes more resolute.

Gulag’s Ray Kurzweil has often talked about “the singularity” and his attempt to stay alive until it arrives. He, like the other transhumanists – including Elon – are of the belief that they can “live forever” by transferring their memories into machines and therein dwell forever, dismissing the essence of life – our souls. Of course, this act will be at the cost of their wretched souls.
The thought that materialized is that the vast AI centers they are creating may well be the repositories of which they seek to entrap their memories forever and the culmination of their ‘singularity’, with “AI” robots being their ‘physical manifestation.’

I just spent the last few days outside the Hyundai plant in Savannah. Between local, state, and federal incentives Hyundai rec’d $10B. They, in turn, promised good paying jobs for AMERICANS. The local and state government sold it to the ppl of GA and locals as JOBS in exchange for a massive industrial complex in the middle of farmland and southern pine tree farms. They installed hideous European traffic circles on the exit interchanges that don’t really accommodate semis and it was hilarious to watch them navigate it. Keep in mind it’s for an industrial plant.
So in exchange for sitting quietly by and watching their local community drastically change so they and their children had a chance at high paying jobs the community, they watched dumbfounded as S Korean after S Korean flooded their community. It’s a small community outside of Savannah. The mayor knew. The city council knew.
There was suddenly a shortage of housing. They didn’t speak English. The entire county only has 40,000 ppl in it. According to the 2020 census, it was the 6th fastest growing county in America. No one blinked an eye. The secret was hidden in the census THAT COUNTS ILLEGALS which is why citizenship MUST be a part of the census. Dark to light. Turn the lights on.
