Afternoon, dear Bet. Another sleep-late-Saturday for me and Little ‘Tink, Bet. Just got back from early lunch. Yep, my morning was rather temperate also. A harbinger of cooler weather just around the corner? Sure hope so.
Had the sunroof open and listening to Mozart on my way for lunch. My favorite Saturday stop, a classic Texas roadhouse, opens at 11 so that generally is my get-moving target. Been eating there for so long, the mgr and my favorite server are old friends and have been there for years and years. Yep, definitely one of those kinds of places.
Tink’s affection is so genuine. And so appreciated. While she’s “my” kitty of course, I’m also “her” person—which is a pretty good deal, especially for an old guy who lives alone.

Very depressed. Absolutely dead in the Atlantic due to MJO being in a phases which are not conducive to development in the MDR (Main Development Region) and very heavy dust coming off west Africa.
Currently as the MJO moves into phase 1 there is an Invest in the eastern Pacific off the west coast of Mexico that will develop. Do not be surprised if it recurves and brings rain into the desert SW.
A CAT 2-3 cyclone hit Vietnam and is now a low pressure area. And that is IT globally. We are in the heart of the Tropical Cyclone season without a single hurricane or even a TS anywhere on earth!
The current runs of European model are forecasting it to be dead right into October but the odds of that happening are quite long. The MJO (Madden Julian Oscillation) is likely to progress across 1 into phases 2 and then 3 during the 2nd week of Sept. Both of those phases are conducive for close in development of hurricanes off the east coast, in the Caribbean, and in the Gulf of America.
But still I cannot stress how very rare it is for us to be going into the Labor day weekend without a tropical cyclone anywhere on the planet.
The statistical height of the season is Sept. 10th and for any of the many tropical storm projections for the 2025 season to be anywhere in the ball park it is going to have to be a very busy 2nd half of the season.
Global ACE (Accumulated Cyclone Energy) is only 87% of normal YTD even though the S. Hemisphere and N. Atlantic basins are still above normal.

rich here: I am being attacked by “dark forces” … they try to “fake” GOD VIBE. I am very familiar with this type of “attack”. They are “dark”, negative, … nasty “beings”, … instead of “showing themselves” they can “sort of communicate” but it seems very hateful, and very anti-GOD.
The way I combat this is with “breathing GOD energy”. I do this everyday. The attack started when I was sleeping. Sneak attack? 🙂
I guess I am just letting you know, “it happens”. GOD is LOVE … and these “darks ones” are not loving, but do try to pretend to be “GOD-like”. They are NOT!
GOD, I commit to praying to receive and share GOD’S LOVE with all beings. LORD, help me to do this. I ask GOD’S Angels and “friends of GOD, to watch over me”.

“An exhortation to bless God for his mercy. (1-5) And to the church and to all men. (6-14) For the constancy of his mercy. (15-18) For the governments of the world.”(19-22)
(6-14) “Truly God is good to all: he is in a special manner good to Israel. He has revealed himself and his grace to them. By his ways we may understand his precepts, the ways he requires us to walk in; and his promises and purposes. He always has been full of compassion. How unlike are those to God, who take every occasion to chide, and never know when to cease! What would become of us, if God should deal so with us? The Scripture says a great deal of the mercy of God, and we all have experienced it. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Beautiful all the wonderful “cat” pictures. Love the Lion Cat!
I love going out to my porch and hanging out with my cat and patting him and feeding him. The last week or so, my cat is allowing another cat to come to my porch, and they touch heads together , and … so I’m starting to feed both of them. So 2 cans of cat food. I just pat my cat, because it can get a little possessive if I pet other cats. The new cat is very polite, and sends me very loving energy, and does the slow blink. So bonding is taking place.
