Israel Update:
There are two key developments that require reporting so here I am again:
-Britain, France and Germany activated the Snapshot Mechanism.
Let me explain: The Obama Nuclear deal with Iran had a provision. In case of violations there was a “snapshot” image of the sanctions which would reactivate in case of violations.
Unlike regular UN resolution, in the case of a violation there is a 30 days window of vote or option for Iran to get back and fulfill its obligations or else the heavy sanctions reactivate.
But unlike regular UN resolutions that one major nation can Veto a resolution, in this case it’s enough that one major nation oppose Iran, to activate the snapshot sanctions.
So the Snapshot was activated and the 30 days count started.
In 30 days the heavy sanctions will reactivate, weapons embargo, energy embargo, banking and trade. All will be in trouble. Now, China is the main purchaser of oil which is their main income. In the past they played tricks to still purchase, they used third parties etc… and Russia and North Korea could still claim that it’s political and ignore it. But it puts them at opposition to the International community of the West mainly. If the West insists to enforce it Iran’s economy that is already in trouble, will collapse.
Did you know? 1 Dollar = 1.03 million Rials. You need one dollar to be a millionaire in Iran.
-The IDF conducted the most significant attack on the Houthies so far. The style of what was done in Iran and Lebanon of catching a large number of leaders in one spot and bombing them heavily. There was a meeting of the leadership of the Military and Government to watch the Head of the Houthis give a speech on TV. The IDF hit them very hard. We still trying to confirm who got hit. They try to hide it. But we know that their Chief of Staff and Minister of Military, Interior Minister and overall 15 of high positions were killed. This follows Houthi drones and missiles that Israel intercepts every couple of days.
This follows a week ago an attack on their Presidential Palace and electric station which were hit hard too. The residents of the region who attack Israel do not survive. It is an important lesson. Their main leader is next. Unless he ceases all hostilities.
-IDF special operation deep in Syria. A vail of fog as to what it’s all about. It was by Damascus. A few helicopters mobilized tens of Soldiers into a base. Israel did not publish anything. One leak from a Security figure in Israel said that it was a Turkish surveillance equipment that was targeted. The Turks are trying to base themselves in Syria and arm the Syrian army with heavy equipment. We are not deceived like the West. The Syrian Government are Al Qaeda/ISIS. I just posted a video of the Defense Minister of Syria from some years back dressed like ISIS shuttering a statue of Holly Marry who was taken at a Church. Yesterday I also saw a flag of Al Qaeda high in a district that the Syrian Government is having. This is one of the deceptions in the West. You see US and Europeans visiting the “terrorist in a suit”. Whoever had this guy visits the White House and shake the hand of Trump is not qualified for their position. I suspect it’s Mr. Witkoff who is trying to “Normalize” the Israel Syria relationship. There is a subtle struggle between Turkey and Israel over Syria.
In this special operation 6 Syrian soldiers were killed. No casualties to the IDF.
-If this was not a good enough deception here is another one. The Lebanese American representative of Mr. Witkoff (Tom Barrack) is constantly in Lebanon trying to force them to disarm Hezbollah. They condition US aid on it. So the new Lebanese government issued an intention to disarm Hezbollah. They sent some tracks to also pick up weapons of Palestinians (another group). Giving a show. We know that terrorists don’t disarm. The couple of tracks is a show-off only. Hezbollah said that they will fight a Civil War and not disarm.
Now, what no one is telling the involved and the media is that about a half of the Lebanese military are Shia. They are families with Hezbollah. No way they are going to fight to disarm Hezbollah. Anyways, I would love to be wrong about it but this is what I see now.
-Gaza: The IDF is slowly moving the Gazans out of Gaza City. Another aid center was opened now it is the fifth one that is with the American Company that we are coordinated with. The IDF is attacking on the outskirts of Gaza City. I see new forces mobilized to Gaza.
Trump gave a hint that “something big is about to happen”. Related to Gaza. There is some secret coordination about “the day after Hamas”. Trump had a meeting about it.
This is building up and going at some point to escalate rapidly. We have the Givati Infantry Brigade already there making some progress and just destroyed a massive tunnel at the outskirts of Gaza City. Givati are the best! They work with engineering forces. They tend to flatten where they move so they have very low casualties overall. But Gaza City is very large. Our soldiers need all the prayers. It is not expected to be a walk in the park.

After about 5 minutes of watching / hearing / waiting, she drove off without anything, so I pulled up and asked cashier to verify what I heard, yep, she could only pay by phone.
Funny, generally people cannot not believe that I as a small business take NFC (used to just be RFID on Credit/debits as NFC built into phones now) swipe… tap… googlepay … applepay … amex.
At least Sonic takes their own gift cards in their app…. Mc’Ds does not and boy have I complained to the store about it. Cause I would rather order ahead cause they generally have to fry my fish (10-15mins)to make the only sandwich I can get off them w/o making me sick with their fake burgers & chicken.
Now to explain that to all the inquiring minds out here on the branches, I get store points to get gas discounts up to 1$ on 35 gallons AKA 35 bucks off to fill up both vehicles at the same time.

Harassed by some Muslim men, this brave 14 year old girl stood her ground . . .

Watching this video brought me to tears . . . Although I’m happy to be a quietly retired academic, my family is Appalachian Scots/Irish. My great grandmother sang the Child ballads, my father had a strict set of moral codes he taught to me. As I matured, those moral codes became iron-hard. Although I don’t often show it, I’m proud to say I have an “inner red-neck” . . . This video, that young girl’s story, her bravery standing up to some Muslim guy’s harassment, touches all that. I am so proud of her.

Whatever it is…the one thing is clear…resentment of some sort.
This has become one of my favorite songs. I heard the song for the first time driving from camp Pendleton where I had flown to see my son for the first time in a year in the Marines. I was driving toward Coronado Island to see my cousin, a retired cop, and we were going to meet at church to worship on a Sunday morning.
My son had just returned from deployment. The ships of his fleet were in the harbor and I had just recognized them. I had just nursed my dad through a near death illness after hospitalization and had been reflecting on his life, his love for me and the pride he had in me. I was filled with pride for my dad, my son, and love for the country.
I played a random song on my iPod and this was the song that came up. Tears flowed as I let the words of respect and adoration that Emmy Lou had for her father remind me of the respect I had for my father, and felt the pride of my son. I was filled with the patriotic feelings of proximity to the Pendleton military base I had come from and approaching the home of the U.S. Navy SEALs. I put the song on repeat, and tears flowed as the countryside passed by with the Naval Base and ocean visible.

My brother Bruce gave me a 30′ flag pole back in 2002
A quality Aluminum pole very much like the industrial grade ones seen at businesses.
Digging the Hole:
I decided to put it in the middle of my front yard.
I laid down a tarp and started hand shoveling, putting the dirt on the tarp.
As the tarp got full I shoveled the dirt on it into my wagon and used it fill in low places around the yard.
Repeat as necessary until the hole was 4′ 6″ deep.
I had the hole taper out at the bottom as necessary.
The top being just large enough for my shoulders to fit in so I could dig further down.
I left the last load of dirt on the tarp to fill in around the hole as necessary.
Installing the Base:
Using steel re-bar to hold it in place I installed the spiral weld sleeve into which the pole would be mounted.
The sleeve had a pyramid made of rebar in the bottom so the base of the pole would be centered when placed inside of it.
I made sure the sleeve was plum vertical. with a 4′ level.
I built a square wooden form of 2 x 8s
The form was of a size that it’s corners rested on the edge of the hole I had built.
I centered the form over sleeve that projected 7 1/2″ above grade.
Four pieces of rebar stuck up around the sleeve above grade to reinforce the concrete in the form when poured.
Setting the base.
I mixed 28 bags of Sacrete and poured them around the sleeve.
The concrete filled the hole and the form.
I agitated the sacrete in the hole as I poured it to try and eliminate any significant voids.
I beat on the side of the form to eliminate air bubbles
I troweled the top of the concrete in the form.
I pulled the form off and dressed the corners and top edges while the concrete was still green enough to do it.
I let the concrete cure for a week.
Defense of the Flag.
Early the morning we were going to set the pole, while alone.
I dropped a match book and a .45 Cal round into the base of the sleeve.
I then stood and saluted.
The round of ammunition symbolizes defending the flag.
The matchbook symbolizes the intent to burn the flag if it can’t be defended so it will not be captured.
I would never consider setting a pole like that without carrying out that little ceremony.
Setting the pole:
My neighbor Steve brought over his tractor with a bucket.
Using a strap I choked the pole securing it to a hook on the bucket.
i slid the covering flange over the base of the pole and jammed it so it would stay on without sliding off.
I climbed up on top of the bucket and once Steve raised it enough that I had he clearance I swung the pole vertical.
Steve positioned the tractor so I could center the pole over the sleeve and then he lowered the bucket until the pole base was at the bottom of the sleeve centered by the rebar pyramid.
I used pieces of wood to shim the pole so it was centered in the sleeve and checked that it was plum with a level.
Then using a piece of wood I packed fine white sand into the 1″ space between the pole and the sleeve and removed the pieces of wood holding it centered and plum.
I slid the covering flange down so it rested on the concrete and then caulked the seams with aluminum colored RTV silicone.
Dressing it up:
With the pole set and ready to have the colors raised on it I dressed the whole thing out.
Using 6×6 treated lumber Steve gave me I built a 4′ square box around the concrete base.
I overlapped the corners making the base 18″ high.
Using a heavy duty drill and an extra long 1/2″ bit I drilled holes down through the wood.
I then drove pieces of 3/8″ rebar down through the holes and about a foot into the ground to secure the wood in place.
Inside the wood I filled in with dirt for planting flowers.
The wood make good place for mounting lights to light the pole.
Later a landscaper put red castle rock around the outside covering the wood.
Lighting:
I ran electrical wire underground from the house to the pole in order to light the flag.
I have installed a dusk to dawn light sensor so the lights are only on when it’s dark.
I currently have two low voltage spot lights lighting my flags.
Flags:
Over the years I have probably spent over $1,000 on flags. I have a plastic tote full of flags.
Over the years I’ve worn out at least 1/2 a dozen flags.
The smallest colors I fly is 3′ x 5′
The largest colors I fly is 5′ x 8′, which is the largest recommended for a 30′ pole.
I only fly the largest colors on patriotic holidays.
I almost always have another flag flying under the colors.
Other flags are:
The Gadsden flag (Don’t Tread On Me)
The Appeal to Heaven Flag
US Army Flag which I flew for the Army’s 250th birthday.
The POW/MIA flag.
I also have an Indiana State flag but have never flown it.
Nobody is going to tell me that I am not speaking when I fly my colors and my other flags. And what is being said is as clear as can be.
I always enjoy reading about your home projects, rah. What type of rope do you use? I’ve been getting mine from Home Depot, but they don’t last but 2-3 years down here in South Florida. Any suggestions would be welcome. I always bring my worn-out flags to one of the veterans’ organizations for proper disposal. I drop it off in in the new flag’s box.

Good morning, dearest duchess….and what a GLORIOUS morning it is!! One for which there is not enough praise which I can offer to our Father in Heaven, His lovingkindness and mercies which have been been bountiful and unending…
First, I want to apologize for abandoning my post here in the main over the past months. It was a deliberate decision on my part because in truth I knew the temptation to spill what has been ongoing so slowly since that crushing moment when Brian and Caroline on their way to the hospital for a liver transplant received the news it was off (I know you’ll remember) would have been overwhelming. And for that I hope you, my dear, prayerful friend will forgive me…
Right after the disappointment, Caroline dusted her hands and got to work researching donation by a living donor, which seemed a small but not realistic hope. She posted appeals on Facebook to all her connections and friends along with the information. Her friends, who are so many, in turn reposted to theirs.
And then she waited…
In the meantime, the husband of the couple who knew the donor for whom time ran out, noticed that his and Brian’s not common blood type were the same.
And as his wife told Caroline, he sat there in his chair, reflecting, and then said quietly, “It’s supposed to be me…”
It is very difficult to type these words, sis, without the enormity of this man’s and his wife’s (Lee and J’Ann) offer to put themselves through the onerous requirements to serve as Brian’s donor overwhelming my heart.
So over the past months, Lee has put himself in the hands of the surgical teams which will perform the surgery. There were physical issues to overcome…his blood pressure and weight loss being only two. Test after test after test which required driving three hours from their home to Southwestern in Dallas many many times.
They committed and interrupted their lives for this one purpose. Protocol meant that Caroline and Brian were left in the dark as he (Brian) continued getting his weight back and healthier.
Yesterday, Caroline told us all systems are go. The transplant will take place on September 22, and all the signs are hopeful for a successful one. The surgical teams (2) are some of the best there are.
Lee and J’ann will stay with Caroline and Brian’s post op until he is recovered enough to return home. Caroline will remain at the hospital with Brian until, all being well, he can go home…please dear Lord.
So now we remain prayerful ourselves. Every step of the way, Almighty God has been present and near.
What seemed an extremely desperate last shot, the longest one, has by His Grace been made manifest.
During this difficult journey (for everyone) I swore if/ when we received the best news, YOU would be the first one I would tell, dear friend. Because you are that.
You are the perpetual and unfailing light which illuminates this Tree, on this daily thread. You are an ornament in these branches…
I’m sorry this is such an emotional epistle. Believe me there was so much to tell, it was a job shortening it to this!! But for everyone here who gave us their love and prayers lo those months ago when hope turned to ashes at that moment with disappointment and uncertainty staring us in the face, I couldn’t wait to share this glorious news. The good Lord didn’t say “No.”
He said, “Not now….I have something much better waiting.” And so He did…
I shall now return to the fold. The best home there could possibly be…

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

You are given “time and space” to understand the first LAW of GOD. GOD LOVES EVERYBODY … (of course YOU are included in this.. you are a “somebody”, so God Loves you.)
But God may not “love” everything you think, feel, say and do. Obviously! So “listen” to your DEEPER FEELINGS, … when you do something you do get a “FEELING” about what you do. You all do. It is one of my “gifts” to YOU.
If you are anti-God currently, if you find yourself, drugging youself, drinking “dark spirits”, and have “NOISE” around you all the time, the DARK ONES are trying to “disconnect” this FEELING sense GOD gave you! So practice getting “silent” so you can again feel your “FEELINGS” at deeper level.
First things first. I have so much to teach you, but you do have to “be silent” so I CAN TEACH YOU. But with lots of “noise” around you, you can NOT HEAR ME!
I want to direct you to grow that “FEELING SENSE” in YOU.
I will stop for now. “rich” learns when I “chat” through him. That is how I work. YES, there are ANGELS and more advanced “humans’ that allow me to teach them, but… these ANGELS have to find “others” they can teach, in order for the ANGELS and “advanced humans” to grow. Study that. The DARK ONES do NOT work in that way. DARK ONES want to “use you” and abuse you, and keep you in the “dark”. But I also LOVE EVERYONE … even those “dark ones” who disconnected from the “VINE”. Help me to reach the “dark ones” to bring them back into the KINGDOM of GOD.

sauerkraut towards end
finish with topping of Bisquick dough to make dumplings
cover and keep in oven until the dumplings rise
serve with mashed potatoes side
and a green vegetable like broccoli
