The other day on my wonderful classical station I heard this waltz whose musical fingerprints were unfamiliar to me. Imagine my shock to discover it was Billy Joel in another guise. You are seriously onto something, Garrison. Much of the change traces back to the NEA, which controls the teaching of our youth. They have started (wisely for them) at the liberal arts colleges where so many educators are trained. They placed their minions in the ranks of professors, training new waves of teachers (for all grade levels) in the ways of Marxism (without EVER calling it that). They taught them what to think (not HOW to think) and indoctrinated them that it was their duty to pass this ideology onto their students at literally every grade.
They also taught the future teaches (now the current ones) that the “core” subjects were not important. There was no need to math (after all, numbers are racist) and language (if people know what words mean, there is no way to easily deceive them with words).. no need for history (hell, the kids will learn it when they repeat the mistakes of the past)

Beginners in practicing “connecting with GOD”, … will get “thought” to put OFF praying to GOD, UNTIL LATER! The “thought” goes like this.
“it is good you want to pray and practice Centering on GOD, BUT … BUT … I got this situation that needs to be addressed, or a couple of things to do FIRST, … or watch this TV show or Movie, or make a phone call, … “(fill in the blank).
Advanced Prayer/Meditators don’t fall for the “thought”.
Also, these type “thoughts” produce “stress”… almost like is it “important to do what the “thought” says… and PUT OFF GOING TO GOD!
Now, … you have solution… don’t put off GOING TO GOD to pray and meditate! Doesn’t have to be LONG session of praying/meditation… and doing that will allow you to THINK/FEEL from your HEART CENTER instead of your EGO/back of head/brain center.
Also , from the HEART … when in CHRIST conscious … you can gently and with love BREATH GOD’S LOVE into the HEAD! And in friendly way tell those “thought-beings” … this is a HOUSE of GOD fellows, … and if you want to not do GOD stuff, … leave … and you are most welcome to stay … but it will be “filled with GOD’S LOVE … and this will help you to “think” constuctive stuff, and be “helpful to you and me”. Your choice “thought-beings”. Stay or Leave. I did stuff like that many years ago, and just do a quick check… to make sure “this HOUSE is CLEAN”… and doesn’t have “ego-type thought beings around”.
Don’t put off praying/meditating … and inviting Christ to live in your HEART CENTER … with Christ in your HEART … it is very, very quiet … no pesky ego-thought beings … stirring up “stress-thoughts”. 🙂
p.s. if you are filled with ego-type thought beings, they are not going to like you knowing about this … I guess it is ok for me to discuss this with you, or I would not “write this” here. 1 “If we would get knowledge and grace, we must try all methods of improving ourselves. #2|. Those make nothing to purpose, of learning or religion, whose only design is to have something to make a show with. #3|. As soon as sin entered, shame followed. 4|. The well-spring of wisdom in the heart of a believer, continually supplies words of wisdom. #5|. The merits of a cause must be looked to, not the person. #6,7|. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

BTW there wouldn’t be any ethanol in our gas if it’s production wasn’t subsidized.
There are several stations here in Morehead City NC who advertise NO ETHANOL IN THEIR TANKS and then there are others who offer one available tank with no ethanol the rest of the tanks at the station have 10 – 15% ethanol.
Bottom line is that a much better argument can be made that atmospheric CO2 is the “control knob” for crop yields/plant growth than for climate change.

You’d think that a doctor would know better, wouldn’t you rah? lol
I remember going to my new doctor for a first appointment (my old doctor had finally retired), and this was during the phony COVID scare. The young doctor was wearing an unfiltered face cloth AND a plastic visor, all to shield himself from an airborne virus. “Trust the experts” was the cry during COVID as the “experts” spewed all kinds of foolishness and held themselves up to silent ridicule.
It reminded me of that scripture passage from Romans, which talks about humanity that’s lost touch with its Creator:

I was fired from Cracker Barrel today. I ran our company’s rebranding team. Turns out a small group of angry activists didn’t like that we took the old guy off the logo and threw a fit They blamed me for tanking the stock price 19% and fired me on the spot. Taking some time to reflect and will start looking for jobs soon!
