exceptionally refined sounds. The genuine article “concert guitar” is usually made by hand by single luthier (and priced accordingly—often at least several thousand dollars and up).
Speaking of luthiers:
Used to frequent a guitar shop that sold and did amazing repairs.
Many a time I heard different people play a certain guitar that had a unique
and b e a u t I f u l sound,
-no matter who played it!
I knew it was THAT guitar without seeing it being played.
I could have only dreamt to dream… to actually own this particular guitar -ever.
gosh & sigh. 🫠
I used to talk, talk, talk and talk about this amazing guitar.
The sound, the beauty, ….the neck size was made for my hand… on and on!
Two years later (1977), to my utter shock,
it was gifted to me from my father.

Thank you Soaz. I will use your spelling I often go to the edge of my woods to visit “Queenie” my cutting horse. I had to have her euthanized about a year after I moved here. She started having a lot of pain in her stifles and it was the most humane thing I could do for her. I understand as I miss my Queenie as well. I feel so bad for Louisa. My Blue sometimes will stare out at the spot where his mare is buried.
I truly believe we will be reunited with all of our beloved pets in heaven some day. I continue to pray for you and Louisa. and family.

We’ve lived here for over 36 years, and have had the privilege of sharing our home with more than that many animals. Sometimes euthanasia is the only loving choice – but, it rips you to shreds. And……when I’m not there to hold them as they pass, I feel guilty about that. There really is no way to avoid the pain.
I know where all the fur kids are, visit with them on occasion, enjoy a good memory, maybe shed a tear, – and pray fervently that they all knock me over if I am lucky enough to arrive at the “good place” where I know they are!

Good morning.
I’m back home. Drove straight through bringing my oldest granddaughter with me. Got home at 00:14 after dropping off Corbin.
Nikki is at home. She is continuing to have symptoms of organ shut down but in her case I guess it is a slow process. in her more lucid moments she said wanted to be home and so that is where she is. She must have some one there at all times because she gets delusional and gets out of bed. Other times she gets combative. Most of the time she sleeps.
While she was in the care center one of us was there 24/7.
Now Sherry is down there with her helping Laura.
Praying for you all, rah.

Another good’un, benzy . . . Finally got around to listening it to and, happily, it was well worth the wait. Guy was a wonderful story teller. You can’t be a great song writer unless you can tell a great story. I knew Guy when he lived in Houston and was just getting started. I’ve told the story about how I stepped on my reasonably good classical guitar, breaking the top in several places. Guy was living in Montrose as was I so
happily I found my way to him. He repaired my guitar’s broken top, restoring it to playing condition. Sensing, that I didn’t have much money he only charged me $5. That was a gift for a repair that required real skill to do right.
The ads here are preventing me from posting at all it seems. Redirects keep occurring and if I happen to be pressing the space bar when the redirect prompt appears, it just goes. ALSO the ads are changing the CSS on this site which changes the dimensions of the screen and it re-renders on the fly which is also a big problem.
Further still, when I use my phone, it keeps telling me I’ve got a virus which I know isn’t true but my father has had a similar problem which I had to fix. He recently passed but every time I see that fake malware ad which somehow affects cookies on the device I’m reminded of him. The guy was smart but in Texas Instrument top secret projects in the 80s kind of smart. He didn’t really keep up with the tech after he was out of that business.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles.
