As a sidenote, a few days ago it was reported that AG Pam Bondi was “blindsided” with the criminal referral from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Bondi ordered an unnamed federal prosecutor to initiate legal proceedings, and the prosecutor is expected to present department evidence to a grand jury to secure a potential indictment, according to a letter from Bondi reviewed by Fox News Digital and a source familiar with the investigation.
A DOJ spokesperson declined to comment on the report of an investigation but said Bondi is taking the referrals from Gabbard “very seriously.” The spokesperson said Bondi believed there is “clear cause for deep concern” and a need for the next steps.
The DOJ confirmed two weeks ago it received a criminal referral from Gabbard. The referral included a memorandum titled “Intelligence Community suppression of intelligence showing ‘Russian and criminal actors did not impact’ the 2016 presidential election via cyber-attacks on infrastructure” and asked that the DOJ open an investigation.
No charges have been brought at this stage against any defendants. A grand jury investigation is needed to secure an indictment against any potential suspects. (read more)

I think she would definitely be tempted to do just that. But there it would be a very dangerous move with serious consequences if she did. If she commits to a single perjury, she can find not only the plea deal implode (that is what she is seeking in return for testifying about other co conspirators), but also additional criminal charges. One does not casually make such decisions and temp fate.
ON THE OTHER HAND, its quite obvious that she would know co conspirators, place them at time and location and even give eye witness accounts of criminal violations. And when that holds up in court, she gets her sentencing reduced for the cooperation. it’s not rocket surgery. Yes, she wants a reduced sentence. Anyone facing 20 years straight hoosegow would take the deal if they had information critical to the DOJ seeking charges against other criminals. That’s the name of the game. What makes this particular “deal” very effective is that in at least 2 different court cases, victims gave testimony that others were involved by name. What was missing in those trials was pursuing con conspirators. the cases were solely developed to charge Epstein and then later Maxwell. But those same testimonies could be enhanced in future trials with Maxwell as the second person eye witness…even if we have to keep from vomiting that she likely organized and recruited these criminal activities herself. Which is what she was charged and found guilty. Repulsive, but in criminal history, prosecutors have wide breadth to use convicted criminals as key witnesses to continue to prosecute laterally and vertically. I would like to hear what she has to say. If it weighs up, and results in a conviction..great…we get to see some really bad people go to prison. If not, and she makes one false claims…she goes right back to prison with additional years on top of the 2 decades.

Don’t quite know what’s going on with SD recently, but it’s pretty obvious from the language of the Independent’s (anything but, by the way) story is a pre-emptive attempt to smear Tulsi (buzz word crusade), question her motives and suggest any action by the AG is not because of any reasonable evidence but pressure from the DNI.
What’s interesting is the DS’s response, obviously they were given a heads-up to the AG’s statement and felt it necessary to try out this line of attack. Is it perhaps because they realise that all their previous attempts to smear the DNI have failed and that the public are following closely. Again, if true, a strange response if they know they are immune from any possible forthcoming prosecutions.
