This article on Gateway Pundit caught my attention, sorry if it’s a repeat comment. I never realized that NY City used a Ranked Choice in it’s elections. that being said, this article on the topic gives a pretty good (short) description of the ranked Choice Voting System, that is being installed in democrat and Uni-Party dominated municipalities and States.
The article below states that the very rich socialist, Mamdani, is favored in this system so far.

This may actually be coming to more democrat strongholds as elections draw closer.
Ranked choice voting is a scam to get into office the far left and fringe candidates NO ONE would vote for straight up. The fringe groups can run a number of candidates, none of whom stand a chance in a head-to-head contest, in order to spread out the field and open it up for the main fringe candidate in ranked choice ballot counting. All of a sudden a candidate no one wants and that everyone ranks 5th or 8th or 10th, gets in. And that’s the plan.
Plain old run-off elections between the two highest vote getters (when no one tops 50%) is FAR superior because it more closely follows the will of the voters.
In addition, it is the top party(s) that are actually funding and sponsoring the large majority of the candidates to achieve the desired result.
True, it is far better than the Ranked Choice System …. Yet, I have watched the Run-off System be used too often in manner that looks exactly like a Ranked Choice System to yield desired results.
Yes – the “splitter” strategy. If your in-office lapdog can only get maybe 30-35% from sleepy name recognition and actual benefiting parasites, run a number of candidates and split the anit-vote, as it can be difficult to figure who the actual good candidate may be. In fairness to the voter who cares, it can be very difficult to parse the information being presented.
Example – There are already three candidates running against Graham in S. Carolina. Not close enough to truly judge, but suspicious in look. A non-politician was up and running, and then in jump politicians. Hmmmm.
And bonus, hard if not impossible to hand recount. Machines must be used. Horrible.

Ranked voting does not prop up fringe candidates – it does the opposite. It tends to prop up candidates who are more in the middle.

The Democrats in Nevada have tried to get ranked choice voting established and so far the voters have rejected it. The pro-ranked choicer’s use the ‘not everyone gets to vote for candidates in the primaries, so we need to open all primaries for non-party voters’ –
and falls when countered with the facts that primaries are for the parties to pick who to represent them in the general and all non-partisan offices are open for all voters. So far this has kept the move at bay.
So far, as the voters see what the game is, but expect the idea to keep on returning as each new election cycle as the younger, and politically-uneducated voters, will fall prey to the lure of ‘fairness’ ranked choice voting hides behind.

Speaking of SCOTUS, sort of, I read today that ANOTHER JUDGE blocked the deportation of another group of illegal aliens, despite SCOTUS ruling they can’t do that. Why can’t the Administration ignore these rogue judges? What happens if it does? Can we poke the bear and find out? I’m so bloody sick of reading about these judges. Can anyone explain this to me?

My retired judge neighbor advises that the DOJ could publicly advise PDJT to ignore the unlawful rulings and, thereby, force the SCOTUS to rebuke the rogue judges and to negate their rulings.

I have been very disturbed by the direction President Trump has taken on Ukraine and Russia. This isn’t to say Russia hasn’t had a part to play…they continue their offensive and sadly, strikes on cities periodically. But they have no incentive to stop progressing into the country. I think Trump believed his appeals to Putin would get immediate results, yet where is the firm pressure on little Z to inevitable negotiation?
Now Martin Armstrong says his Socrates computer program (proprietary software his firm uses to aid predictive economic trends and investments) is predicting nuclear war with 100% certainty. I know….this sounds like alarmist bunk or a shill for gold bugs, and there is no absolute in any person’s (or software’s) warnings, but his trend analysis has been fairly accurate over the years. Not much any of us can do about it anyway. I do agree with his premise that the neocons have surrounded Trump and are deflecting alternative opinions. Any “defensive” alliance wants neutral space between itself and its opponent. But . . .
You are not going to change this situation until people finally sit down in good faith and listen to Russia, and make significant changes. Russia knows that there are still people in Europe who would bring back Churchill’s “Operation Unthinkable.” She has very legitimate national security concerns which must be addressed, and ultimatums will not do. This nation whom you scream “wants to wipe out all of Europe” is the one who is still trying to sit down at the table – on its own initiative. They are still showing: “patience.”
Russia knows better than anyone what “war” is. They paid by far the greatest price in blood during WW2, on both fronts, and their national “Victory Day” celebration ensures that none of their countrymen will ever forget what “war” actually costs. So, howcum we have?

She rocked her so much I was surprised the chair didn’t take off. What a lovely time it was. My mother was raised by monsters, and when she left home she made many terrible choices. She got married young and got divorced shortly after that, only to find out she was pregnant. She had no “mother” to go to for help, and the people she felt closest to were her bosses, an old Jewish couple whose advice to her was to have an abortion. They knew the person who could do it, set up the appointment and my oldest sibling went Home to be with the Lord.
When my mom met my dad and his amazing Christ following parents her life changed, and so did she.
One day, many years later (and now many years ago), I was sitting with my mom when she started to sob. I don’t remember most of our conversation that day, but what I do remember is the sorrow an old woman felt over what she had done years earlier, and the son or daughter she threw away.
You are right, they have no idea of the sorrow they are laying up for themselves, for years to come.

The consequences of youthful indiscretions and actions can leave terrible scars. How lonely she must have felt. And terrified. I’m sure it seemed the only solution for her then. All I can think is that a loving Father in His mercy has most likely, I pray, reunited her and that child she mourned over in a place so much better than this.
“Joy in the morning” is something I can only imagine; but as it has been promised, I suspect your mother knows it now. Something to rejoice over I hope, my friend.
My mother in law has been long gone. I miss her. But my grown children, each one loved and rocked to within an inch of their lives hold her in their hearts, as do I. She was very special.

And it’s every bit as dangerous as the government having programmability over your money. It’s just a private company.”
“CBDCs are bad, but Stablecoins are kind of the worst of both worlds. They’re private in name only. They are backed by government debt, so it’s still extending dollar hegemony, dollar empire, buying Uncle Sam’s bags. They are still beholden to the public sector because if you want to hold $150 billion of treasuries, you damn well better do whatever the government wants you to do. You can’t just hold that and say, I’m not giving you my customer information. No, they’ll seize your treasuries, and then there goes by $150 billion. So let’s look at this. A good example, Tether is the biggest Stablecoin provider in the world. They have over $160 billion of treasuries. They have been forced to onboard the FBI, the Secret Service, Chain Analysis, which is an In-Q-Tel-funded private blockchain analysis company. All of these law enforcement arms, private or public, are on their system. They’ve seized and blacklisted billions of dollars of Tethers at the behest of the public sector, and that is sort of the – it’s the new iteration of the private-public relationship that has been capital creation. And in many ways, it’s being sold to us as this convenient, wonderful thing, cheap fees, dollar access for everybody. But we’re creating an environment and a petri dish right now for global mass surveillance for all of our financial transactions and still the seizability and programmability at the behest of the public sector. So what’s really the benefit here? What is so genius about this for the people? Oh, no, it’s actually a really good way to build the Panopticon and buy Uncle Sam’s bags and enrich all of the donor class that we have seen support Donald Trump’s current administration. And to do it through a cutout so that gives the plausible deniability to the government itself in the exact same way Operation Chokepoint worked. Don’t worry. It’s not the government that’s debanking people. It’s the government that’s leaning on the DOJ to lean on the FDIC to lean on the private banks to debank you.”
“And you can really, at this very high level of computational analysis, really break down a lot of stuff that happens on these blockchains just through pretty basic human behavior. So in reality, it’s created an asymmetric advantage for intelligence-level communities and industries to be able to analyze the blockchain without any need of getting a warrant and going to that Wells Fargo server room or that Bank of America server room that they would have needed to do 10 years ago. Now they can go right to the blockchain and they can find exactly the transaction and use heuristic analysis and find your wallet. It’s really worse than CBDCs in this way because rather than it just being the government, which is very bad, I’m not saying CBDCs are good, publishing it in a closed box where you are willingly, knowingly giving your information to, you know, 10 to 13 branches of government and law enforcement and respective people that would be in charge of a CBDC. Instead, you’re actually publishing all of your transactional data to everybody in the world.”

As he wrote, most likely none will be charged because of the CIA connections and majority of the others, if not directly with that agency, like the FBI folk will fall back on their beloved “must protect our sources and methods” routine.
