Going to a doctor or hospital should be a desperate last resort; such as your unconscious from a car accident. Almost everything can be cured with healthy eating habits and exercise.

That’s a situation where you will die if you do nothing. So your chances are improved by seeking medical treatment because you might luck into seeing a good and ethical doctor. You might make it out alive.

Rubbish. There are good and bad in every discipline. There were thousands of doctors and nurses who, during the covid scam did not murder their patients in exchange for handouts. The best advice is to do research on the provider and hospital if you feel you need one and be personally involved in your and your loved ones’ care. Be your own advocate and be educated.

Not my experience. Husband in cardiac icu twice in one month last year. Total of 12 days icu and 6 general cardiac. Never politics, no TV, volunteers were gathering info for home care needs and pastors. Serious business.
The care my husband received was excellent and nurses prayed with me for him.
Most were in their late 20s to early 40s and extremely attentive.
Knew their stuff and saw death or near death every day.
Interesting fact, every one of the icu nurses had tatoos up and down their arms. From that experience with these angels, I no longer have an opinion + or – about a tatted up person.

Update on local (northwestern Ohio) economy:
The damage of having the usurper known as The Manchurian Marionette in D.C. for four years – as measured by the number of people coming to our St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank – continued into July, as food for c. 900 people was distributed, a record.
Those who follow my occasional comments might recall that the numbers at this food bank correlate with the persons in the White House. For 8 years under MAObama numbers went up steadily to over 500 people per month into 2017.
These numbers reversed quickly under President TRUMP, declining to under 200 going into 2021.
However, the numbers quickly began climbing as The Manchurian Marionette and his puppeteers undid President TRUMP’S accomplishments and reaching 500 per month early last year, and now peaking at c. 900!
On the other hand, yesterday a sudden and sharp decline was seen! Last week we served over 70 families (c. 200 people), but yesterday we only had 32 families!
Is this the beginning of a long-term decline under President TRUMP’S MAGA Policies?

Gasoline is down to $2.50 here in northwestern Ohio, eggs have dropped to the same price from $3.00 +, new construction and expansions at small factories are being planned, “NOW HIRING” signs are found ever more frequently, (e.g. GROB Corporation in Bluffton, Ohio is expanding and hiring people at $30.00 an hour to start certain positions), and farmers are able to profit more because of those lower energy prices!

May comment too late for seeing this. We have made some progress, but much, very much remains. Believe MAGA won the last two senate races. Vance beat the splitter strategy in 2022 (7 candidates), and Moreno strongly prevailed in 2024. The House is a mess – Joyce, Turner, Latta, etc. Not progress there, as attention has been drawn by the statewide races.
Next, we have the Governor race – that will finally see the back of DeWine, although he and his donors still seek to corrupt what they can. He has incumbent state supreme court justice Fischer running to take a seat to extend his term longer – and then give DeWine the power to appoint the replacement when he shifts seats. Typical of the peddling we have experienced.
The manipulations are long-winded in explanation, as to how the RINO strength has been maintained, and the steps ahead are also complicated – but we have had some victories, including some party committee members.
Josh Williams should take the primary. A most remarkable man born into poverty in inner city Toledo with a compelling narrative and life story. Now Ohio House Majority Whip with an outstanding track record of getting his legislation through. He has 45 bills in the Ohio hopper. At his first fund raiser last week 97% of invited guests came and the funding goal was passed by 60%. Powerfully pro life, pro Trump and can win. Merrin, nice enough gentlemen, lost a race he should have won and has burned his bridges with MEGA frineds along the way.

Williams does have an interesting story as well, so as not my district, not really up to speed here. Will probably chip in once the primary settles – or maybe sooner, as am not yet clear on this one. Your data on Williams is very compelling as to the response of people in the area.

Then after putting the WSJ on the little table for Mom, I go back to the computer and check the morning’s e-mail – there is an e-mail from Realtor.com about real estate prices going down – so I am guessing they want buyers to check out Realtor. com (before Zillow, Redfin, Trulia and others) for the listings, hence the full-page Reba ads in the WSJ – and now the push is to get your house listed and sold before the asking prices get even lower, so contact Realtor.com to have their people help you get your house sold now. I think all the online places like Realtor.com get the lists from the Multiple Listing Services (which derive their information from real estate brokers whose agents represent the sellers who have listed with them); but they also have services for helping “FSBO” (for sale by owner) properties to get seen.
Maybe that’s all that is, creating motivation to get people to contact Realtor.com and not a warning of a tsunami which has not yet arrived . . . but could be here in time for the mid-terms?

I think we have reached the “what difference does it make” point, that matters with former Madam Secretary.
I have Bloomberg TV on in the background (for business reasons) and they are losing their minds over today’s Trump tariff news.
“Why punish Canada because of their stance on a Palestinian State?”
“Why punish India for buying Russian oil?”
“Why extend the Mexico deadline- did he chicken out?”
Their premise is that Trump is negotiating via grudges and emotional impulses, when in fact, it’s the exact opposite.
It’s the left that negotiates from a position of surrender (aka compromise)
Trump is using his leverage not just for economic reasons, but simultaneously for geo-political reasons.
The pea-brains on Bloomberg cannot comprehend the entire concept. The only sad part is millions of other pea-brains in their audience are probably nodding their heads in agreement with the announcers.
We have a lot of work to do to educate our fellow Americans and not a lot of time to do it.
Plus: “the West” cannot compel anyone “not to trade OIL.” If India isn’t buying, it’s not because Trump told them not to. We have little trade with them anyway.

Skimming the Durham annex, there are e-mails the Russians hacked from Soros. The FBI had an e-mail date July 25, 2016 from Leonard Benardo. I believe the versions they had were translated from the original into Russian, and the FBI translated them back to English.
The e-mail states in part: Julie [Clinton advisor] says it will be a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump….Later the FBI will put more oil into the fire.
When the FBI interviewed Benardo, he denied he wrote this, claiming I would never say “put more oil into the fire.”
