Our favourite absolved, murderous Al-Qaeda terrorist, Muhammad Al-Jawlani, is now not only wiping out Christians in Syria, he has started genociding the Druze. The images and videos coming out is not for the squeamish.
No western country has so far, had the balls to seriously address these atrocities. Shameful.
Only Israel to its credit, has stepped up to defend the Druze, by air strikes against a large HTS convoy moving towards Druze settlements.

As time passes, Israel will become more prominent among the nations of the earth. Isaiah 2:3 and many other Scriptures enlighten us as to the future. Unregenerate men and the fallen angelic beings that influence and control them will never acknowledge this. Jerusalem will again become the center of the earth for the knowledge of God. The Lord God has said so and humankind will be unable to stop it. In the meantime, the Saints will see the marvelous works of the Lord, but many folks will be blinded to the Truth because of their disobedience. How puny is man to believe that he can fight against his Creator and enjoy victory. The will of the Lord will prevail in His time. Israel is experiencing the refining fires but will someday enjoy all the blessings of Yahweh. The mouth of the Lord God has spoken it. It is thrilling to see God’s faithfulness to the Jew. It is also overwhelmingly thrilling to know that the follower of Jesus is destined to forever be in our Creator’s presence and share rulership in His eternal Kingdom.
In other words, a prosperous well educated nation with a standard of living exceeding it’s neighbors, will eventually surpass the surrounding countries that still subscribe to medieval religious doctrines?
Why certainly the Jewish culture displays many advantages over the cultures of the followers of Muhammad. The Jews were guided to an extent by the teachings and strength of Yahweh. I believe in the Trinity: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. God has revealed Himself to the followers of Jesus as a triune Being. He also appeared to ancient Israelites in bodily form from time to time. For some stubborn reason, the unbelieving Jew overwhelmingly rejects the Trinity, even though Yahweh appeared to their prophets from time to time in human form while He also held together the universe by His mighty power. Education and standards of living can only do so much. How can we explain growing antisemitic beliefs which also affect those with higher education and high standards of living? As one who is interested in the story of the Jews in WW2 in Europe, I am not ignorant of the fact that man is guided by spiritual forces, both good and evil. We need to follow the good, how can we do that if we reject the guiding of the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said we could tell a tree by it’s fruit. Bad fruit, bad tree (man). Good fruit, good tree (man). And since there are none truly good but God, we need to be guided by the Holy Spirit. If we truly desire the Spirit, He will give it in abundance.
It’s what they do. All muslims are a threat to all people and dogs and farm animals, etc.
I believe President Trump has been praising the current terrorists running Syria. US foreign policy for 50 years has been to promote Islam while eradicating Christianity and other religions in support of a caliphate.
There is nothing so damaged in this world that it cannot be repaired by the hand of Almighty God.

There is something really satisfying about hearing that “whip” of a golf club when the ball has been hit cleanly and it actually goes where you envisioned it to land. Very satisfying memory! That was the most awesome small part of my life.

My oldest’s husband thought he could teach her. She said that that was one of two times only they’ve had a falling out…the golf clubs he bought for her are sitting in the garage.

No, Sandra, time does not heal all things. We never stop grieving for anyone we’ve lost. The capriciousness of the flood we cannot make sense of.
I’ve said today to husband that this one of all the tragedies we’ve been witness to has covered me with a terrible heaviness I cannot crawl out from under. Especially as I watch so many committing acts of wickedness who simply carry on. Why these sweet little ones? Why others who were enjoying their lives? Why some who showed up to help but have lost theirs as a result (I’m reading of quite a few good souls who have)?
I’m minded to pull a slim volume from my bookshelves written by CS Lewis upon the death of his wife.

I have recommended these two books to many who are experiencing what you are going through, a few who came back to say they found them helpful.

Time may not heal, but perhaps it softens and makes bearable what at the moment is not. We are promised tribulations. Throughout history this has been so. But we are promised that under no circumstances does Christ leave us to endure them on our own.

I’m an avid golf fan and I love to play at the game. It is a game of integrity and I’m not surprised that it rehabilitated this young, talented man. As the Open starts Thursday, I will add him to my list of who to pull for. That list is short. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if he won! Stranger things have happened.

I too am an avid golf fan, and player growing up 5 miles from Carnoustie Scotland, and playing there and nearby Links courses “ The Open” is always captivating.
We were fortunate as youngsters to watch Watson win at Carnoustie in ‘75 then Nicklaus at St. Andrews in ‘78 then Molinari in 2018 again at Carnoustie.
The drama going down 18 is quite exhilarating for a “golf nut”
We may fly back in 2026 when St.Andrews once again hosts.

I love to watch golf in Scotland. I enjoyed the Scottish Open last weekend and the surprise winner. When I see the Scottish landscape, I feel I’ve been there before. My maternal grandfather was of Scottish descent. That may be why. Enjoy the Open. In have my favorites and they’re not all front runners even though I do like Scottie Scheffler. He’s such a likable young man.

My 98 yr old mom and I cried together watching this story of redemption.
Mom won five club tournaments and many awards for her golfing skills.
My brother was a PGA golfer who was a pro at a private course.
Mom and I watch golfers every day from my porch on a Jack Nicklaus course.
My brother, who is retired, also lives on a Nicklaus course.
Our family has golf in our blood. Not me though. I’m a spectator LOL

It’s worth the watch IMO. Bill gives an outline of money in the U.S. and how we have become a nation in so much in debt. The key take away IMO is a fundamental understanding between U.S. Notes and Federal Reserve Notes. Both are constitutional legal tender in the U.S. but the key difference Federal Reserve Notes come with debt. U.S. Notes do not necessarily come with debt. When I first started reading here it was indeed the last refuge. It was a place to come where there was good news to be told and thoughtful people posting about good and not so good news. Most of them do not post anymore. Now it has turned into a site with nothing but trolls instigating anger time and time again. Good people provoked to anger by the same instigators. No matter what topic.
I hope this trend passes quickly. While there are one or two topics that give all of us concern, there are many good things happening that we may hear about but don’t pay attention to anymore. I will do my best to bring positive news in the future.

Either ignore the post altogether, or call the poster out. I do the latter. I don’t say anything vulgar, but I state the obvious, that I never before read a post previously from the offender.

Most of the “obnoxious posters” who are new are able to be dealt with before they hit the pages. The problem lies with the people who make one benign initial comment, get approved, then wait for the opportunity to make hateful or vulgar comments without being seen or pre-approved. They have to be weeded out one by one, and it’s time consuming.

I took my wife to see her doctor last week for a check-up. During the visit he gave her the hard sell on getting a COVID shot, said they’re seeing a resurgence of COVID and 8 of his patients have it. Fortunately we had discussed it ahead of time and we declined. He didn’t let it go, he gave us the hard sell again. I’m starting to believe he is either in on the plot to give everybody the spike protein, or he makes money on every shot. Or I suppose he could just have been brainwashed and is clueless about the vaccine injuries.
No way would I even consider remaining with a doctor like this one. Maybe consider getting a new one.
I did try to educate him last year about the vaccine injuries, told him to look at the VAERS data. Guess it didn’t take.
My wife likes him so it is her choice to stay with him.
My own doctor offered me the vaccine last visit but I politely declined telling him I’m kind of soured on vaccines, and that was the end of it.
We both use Kaiser Permanente, FYI.
He’s probably getting paid. Pediatric practices make hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars (depending on size) in annual bonuses if they get enough of their patients to take vaccines.
Jabs are the biggest money maker for pediatricians. Well visits and annual physicals are not needed and no one should trust their pediatrician’s office puts the needs of patients first.
We both got COVID twice in the past. Pretty sick for 3 days both times then fast improvement after that. Not even as bad as the flu which generally lasts 5 days. Different symptoms though. I’d take COVID again rather than the shot.

I’m surprised at Mike Johnson’s words. I’m not a lawyer but it seems that the options re the FBI files are limited to:
1) Where credible, legally usable evidence exists: Indict and take it to court
2) Where there is not credible, court-level quality evidece about a person, then under no circumstance should info about the person be released to the general public. To do so is legally defamation.
As an aside: there are likely many people mixed into the files that had nothing to do with sex with minors. Ruining lives of innocent people as if that is an acceptable cost of also getting to the perps is not justice –at– all.

According to Rasmussen many more do not trust what DOJ is saying. Where President Trump was killing it in the polls, after this Epstein debacle, not so much. Yes, I know, polls are just polls, but the rapid and significant drop is noteworthy. The President is not on the ballot in Nov 2026. His majorities in the Senate and the House, such as they are, are at risk.
