Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Northern WI is very nice and the people are very nice, too…a few of my grands live in the ‘snowmobile capital’….they love it…

I am not loving this but I can see that by selling the weapons to NATO countries the burden is on them as to whether they send the munitions to Ukraine at all.
IMO: President Trump has effectively removed actual US government participation in the action on the ground, per se. Any US personnel needed to operate the systems previously can be removed from Ukraine. NATO will have to send in their own experts to train Ukrainians along with their weapons. I am sure US will assist with intelligence.
It is a brilliant strategy IF this is the way it is to proceed. There are North Koreans fighting on the front lines alongside Russians. We do not want to get into shooting war with North Korea at present. If I am not mistaken, we have ours eyes on Taiwan and China’s machinations.

They find ways to keep focused on the core goals. They don’t provide easy paths to desert the cause or actually operate to undermine what had been a common pursuit.
Find a way to do exactly what the deep state operatives are doing – flip the narrative. Reset the focus back to the lawlessness of the overlords; keep hammering the divisions in the political opposition. Sustain the efforts PDJT has already deployed. Counter the Deep State fabrications and expand the information exchange in every instance to the conflict between their attacks and their past behaviors. Keep the door open that encourages the continual leakage of voters, racial groups, thinkers and activists from the bellicose/self aggrandizing Left to the MAGA energized movement for accountability, stability, opportunity, security – the real motivators. Either the unforced error is addressed today, or the Trump Administration will have an increasingly difficult time restoring trust and faith in their mission.

The new converts like the Blacks, Hispanic’s and young men aren’t as concerned about the Epstein issue and ‘accountability’ as they are the economy, and I would guess that about the independents too.
The problem with the House is when they allowed the Census to count people instead of citizens the Democrats opened up the flood gates to blue states and cities and pay illegals to stay. Keeping the House will be hard forever more unless and until the Republicans get such a majority they can rescind counting people and just count citizens. Still a majority of a few votes in the House is still a majority.
I also don’t see Elon’s America party doing any better than the ‘no labels’ party. Anyone that knows anything about Elon knows his candidates will be puppets of his wishes. I don’t see a lot of people voting for them.
The possible outcome is a loss of inertia, a return of distrust, and MAGA staying home during elections.
Stay home and see your own demise. Democrats don’t stay home. Your future is up to you.
I don’t feel like I’m Trump / MAGA because I have no options. PDJT has done an enormous amount of lifting, changed the media, pushed for many things I believe in and has nearly ended the DEI idiocy in and around our military. He has ostracized university administrations, who have for decades exerted enormous leverage across our government.
I’m a huge supporter because he operates with American citizens at the front of his thinking. It isn’t perfect, but it has been awesome.
President Trump’s course is correctly heading toward the best economy in history, a closed border, massive deportations, far fewer regulations, lower energy costs, lower inflation, a revenue surplus for June, higher wages, lower taxes, removal of taxes on tips overtime and SS benefits. Last year, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, despite being in her early 50s and having an undistinguished career before her affirmative action appointment, published a memoir.
You might be forgiven for having missed it when “Lovely One” came out. As the media politely notes, it was “briefly” on the New York Times bestseller list and is now going for half price on Amazon. That is mostly to be expected of the ghostwritten memoir of an obscure judge.
Except that Jackson received a $893,750 advance for her memoir and is now reporting $2 million in profits last year. These would be record numbers for a Supreme Court Justice’s biography from a book that hardly anyone had noticed when it came out. And while books can become unexpected successes once released, there was little sign of that happening.
The actual sales figures have not been made public and perhaps ‘Lovely One’ sold millions of copies even while hardly anyone noticed before ending up in the remainder bin a year later. Certainly no one in the same media that pursued every living member of the Thomas family to find if anyone had ever done them a favor actually bothered obtaining the sales figure.
After Jackson’s memoir, Penguin Random House will be publishing Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s book for which she received a $2 million advance. That’s money the publisher seems even less likely to recoup considering that Barrett is hated among leftists and has a mixed approval rating among conservatives. Past polls show that the majority of the country can’t even name a single Supreme Court justice, yet they are receiving celebrity level advances for books no one cares about.
Yet the Bertelsmann millions have gone mostly unexamined even as ProPublica, a leftist advocacy group, launched a smear campaign against Justice Thomas. The Thomas smears were repeated by every media outlet in the country which pursued the 76-year-old justice’s 96-year-old mother to find out where exactly she lives and who paid the tuition for his grandnephew, yet shrug when the Supreme Court can’t even form a quorum over millions from a multinational giant that has business before the court being directed to justices.

Pleas and cash settlements have been made regarding Epstein over the course of many years. It is likely non disclosure agreements have been signed by gov, criminals, victims.

I don’t think that he was anybody’s “asset.” He’s not a person with enough integrity to be anyone that you would want to be working for you. Epstein worked only for himself – and only for blackmail. He was smooth, very smooth. He’d get you to come to one of his “retreats” and pose for friendly pictures. (With or without little girls in them.) And you would soon come to regret it.
He said he had the goods on every rich and powerful person he ever lured into his trap. But, that does not make it true. From any law-enforcement perspective, those “files” are of no reliable evidence value.

Assests are usually preferred to be people that are not quite so….independently motivated…at least not high level ones.
There is always an issue of lack of integrity, or the potential thereof, but someone like Epstein would definitely be seen as someone to not place a lot of faith in — that is unless you are a truly stupid, which is possible.

Mike Benz: Epstein was working with the CIA in the early 1980s at the very start of his career after he left Bear Stearns. In 1981, right after leaving Bear Stearns, Jeffrey Epstein created a one-person for-profit company in his one-bedroom New York apartment. It was called the Intercontinental Assets Group, and it held itself out as an international bounty hunter for high-net-worth individuals to both recover money and shield money internationally. Right away in 1981, he starts this company that basically helped royalty and high-net-worth individuals basically recover loan debts or assets owed to them that were held in cryptic offshore bank accounts, as well as helping them structure their own assets in a way that would make it difficult or impossible for others to collect those assets.
And in 1982, just one year into that, he got a fake passport, an Austrian passport, listing his residence as Saudi Arabia. This is a fake passport. This was recovered by the FBI in 2019 when they drilled a hole in Jeffrey Epstein’s safe and recovered this. Prosecutors held this passport up at the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. Now, this fake passport was so good that it was able to go through four different country checkpoints. It had a false name, but Jeffrey Epstein’s photo, so that he could get back and forth. And why Saudi Arabia? Well, because Jeffrey Epstein, one of his main clients for the group that he set up in 1981, was Adnan Khashoggi.
Adnan Khashoggi was the CIA arms runner for the Iran-Contra affair when Congress blocked the U.S. federal government through a congressional law called the Bolan Amendment, with the Democrats controlling the House of Representatives, banning any U.S. funds from being directed to the overthrow of the Nicaraguan Sandinista government. And the Reagan White House and National Security Council and Central Intelligence Agency wanted to do it anyway. They were left with a problem, which was that the CIA had been neutered during the Jimmy Carter years. There had been prohibitions on the categories of covert activity it could do, and the Bolan Amendment from Congress blocked them from using U.S. aid funds or State Department funds to run the operation.
Enter Jeffrey Epstein and Adnan Khashoggi, his client. During the Iran-Contra affair, which dogged the entire Reagan administration when all this came out, the U.S. was selling arms together with Israel to Iran, which is kind of ironic as the current geopolitics of Israel-Iran play out around missiles flying overhead earlier this month between those two countries. Israel and the U.S. were selling weapons to Iran at that time through Adnan Khashoggi, the Saudi arms dealer who had been working with the CIA for 30 years.
In fact, this all came out in formal, under-oath testimony from the Paris office of BCCI, which was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, one of the largest banks in the world, which was effectively a CIA proprietary bank for running arms to the Mujaheddin when the CIA was creating the Islamo-terrorist network that would later become Al Qaeda and then ISIS. Adnan Khashoggi was a client of that bank, together with the CIA, and the head of the head of the Paris branch said that Adnan Khashoggi personally told him that he was working for the Central Intelligence Agency and Jeffrey Epstein was his money bundler. Can’t be all because Putin refuses to surrender when Russia has no incentive to stop. There has been ZERO movement or cooperation from the comedian in Ukraine. And why should he? President Trump never took his money away, never stopped supporting his military with intel and guidance, perhaps much more. Sadly, big announcements coming says the gay elf gleefully on Sunday rag TV.
I just really, REALLY wanted President Trump to keep this promise. Get us out of that despicable war. Now he’s doing a full u-turn into it. More sanctions a la Biden and tons of arms shipped through a NATO conduit which, I suppose, Trump thinks keeps our hands clean. Ridiculous.
President Trump busts our chops for expecting them to do more with what they’ve said they will do, because America is moving forward and doing MAGA, and why stop that progress? But now he’s going to wade back into the waters of war in a BIG way. How is that going to not drag down our progress? If he takes this road, there is no easy way back. How do you break the will of a nuclear superpower without breaking them? How do you stop a little maniac leader like Zelenskyy who will never agree to any land concessions no matter the cost?
