Well – you cannot expect a judge to let the constitution get in the way of her all important feelings.
After all, congress passing a law and the president signing it does not stand the test of authority when measured against what a judge desires. After all – who is it that issues “rulings”???
We no longer have a legal system. We have an authoritarian clique that assumes command, and will not allow those smelly citizen peasants, have any rights when they conflict with what the carefully groomed graduates of law schools wish – at any given moment.
So, where was she when the Supreme Court said no more of these lower court shenanigans or something to that effect!
What is the equivalent of what is said to a regular citizen, for speeding on the highway for example or not wearing a seat belt:
“Ignorance of the law is no excuse.” What is the equivalent from SCOTUS to a judge in an instance like this?
She isn’t the only one involved in law fare related to the bill…
A coalition of public health groups on Monday sued Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over his May order that rescinds COVID-19 vaccine guidance for pregnant women and children.
Kennedy claimed in a video announcing the decision on May 27 that the Biden administration had made the recommendation for healthy children and pregnant women to get another COVID-19 booster shot without clinical data to support the booster strategy.
The coalition is now seeking to overturn the secretary’s decision, arguing that the order makes it more difficult for pregnant women to vaccinate themselves and their children because medical professionals are sometimes legally bound to federal vaccine recommendations, the Washington Post reported.

Also, there are already too many liberal Republicans in the Republican Party. What would help would be to support the election of conservative democrats in blue states. The progressive Marxists totally eliminated the Blue Dog Dem representation in the Democrat party.
May I just say that any judge from the lower courts who thinks that they can defy a law passed by congress is going to be in for a shock. President Trump says he is not shy about arresting judges who defy the law.
Judicial Committee, do your job and bring this judge before you to explain why they think they, one person, are above the constitutional powers of congress and act accordingly.
Having said that, I do not hold my breath. Since we are seeing President Trump back peddle on his sacred promise with regard to immigration law, letting selected illegal immigrants stay, in other words, he has his favorites, I am hard pressed to believe anything he says anymore. It will always be “hmm, we shall see” attitude with me.

Kerr County officials in southern Texas on Monday announced that the death toll from catastrophic flooding in the region has risen to over 100 fatalities, as search operations for the remaining missing people continues.
The massive flooding began last week near multiple summer camps in Kerr County, including an all-girl summer camp that lost 27 campers and counselors to the floodwaters. A total of 84 bodies have been found so far, including 28 children.
The bulk of the deaths occurred in Kerr County, but 19 deaths have also been reported in Travis, Burnet, Kendall, Tom Green and Williamson counties, local officials told the Associated Press.
Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice said that one of his main priorities will be finding out why some of the camps did not evacuate after the National Weather Service (NWS) sent out warnings. One of the issues, Rice said, was poor cellphone service in the area.

President Donald Trump on Monday said that the United States would send more weapons and assistance to Ukraine to help with its war with Russia, which appears to signal a change in his stance on the years-long war.
The president has long criticized the Biden administration for all the assistance it sent Ukraine, and vowed to bring an end to the large-scale conflict. However, attempts to end the war have been futile so far.
Trump admitted that he would “have to” send more help to Ukraine so it can defend itself as Russia ups its attacks.
“We have to,” Trump told reporters about resuming the weapons deliveries. “They have to be able to defend themselves.”
The comment comes after the Pentagon paused its shipment of supplies last week because it believed it depleted its own reserves.
