The justices lifted an order from a federal judge in Boston who had placed restrictions on the deportations to those countries. U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy had issued a nationwide injunction that required the administration to give immigrants “meaningful” advance notice and a chance to raise objections before they are sent to so-called third countries — nations not specified in their original deportation orders. SCOTUS needs to act more broadly, and without ambiguity. There rulings over the past several years have been on very narrow issues, with mostly ambiguous orders (sending back to lower courts, etc.).
They refuse to step up and address these major issues of our time. This has led to a level of lawlessness, I feel, has never been seen in this nation.
This political activist has just exposed himself as not fit to be a judge on America’s got talent let alone a real court room where people’s lives are at stake.

I have never read such a circular SCOTUS order in my life. Read that part above again and explain to me: what just happened, and why has our SCOTUS been so neutered by the district justice system that they can’t take definitive action on anything?
SCOTUS should say: “The temporary injunction is stricken, the appeals are cancelled, and the illegal scum migrants are ordered deported as the Secretary of Homeland Security shall determine.”

SCOTUS has merely said the judge can’t block the deportation, but the courts have a right to recall the deportee if their appeals are granted… or some such nonsense.
We had no standing to object to flying these vermin in during the Biden Administration, and we have lost the right to deport them until they are given full “due process” access to the federal court system, appeals court system, and SCOTUS.

Hard to really tell from the SCOTUS, but didn’t they effectively bar the nationwide injunction, leaving the stay in place for the individuals?
You have to dive deep, and be fluent in federal law, to understand all this. That isn’t me, for sure. But I thought this was primarily about whether deportees could be sent to third-party countries… and SCOTUS has said that that can be done. And so they lifted the TRO on the deportation on those grounds.
But they also said there is a pending appeal for these 8, and they could be recalled to the US even if the Administration now decides to deport them. So we are really right back in purgatory on this… But Murphy is acting in bad faith, and he should be stripped, impeached, or arrested. I don’t care which.

On the face of it, this refusal by the judge is going to be a good thing. This defiance is needed for the Supreme Court justices to see they have now gone too far. The SC have already begun to see the issues of district court judges overreach but have not played nice. I’m hoping they will lock and load on Murphy and just put an end to this obvious obstruction.

Congress can defund the judiciary (never gonna happen) or impeach Murphy (unlikely to happen). DOJ has no grounds for arrest, unfortunately, unless they show he has been bribed to act as he is doing, or similar crimes.
Being “un-Constitutional” isn’t grounds for arrest – only impeachment. Liberal judges have a long track record of being reversed on Constitutional grounds. And yet, they still sit on the bench today.

Congress can barely work long enough in a week to pass the BBB for President Trump. Apparently the Congress was supposed to go on summer recess starting this week. During covid mandates I expected this level of pushback. I wrote letters near and far outlining basis on which the mandates could be fought. My legal beagel cousin very officially confronted a union with legal papers the courts did nothing. Anywhere. It was so frustrating. The medical mandates were so devastating and unjust.
And crickets.
I didn’t really expect the media to report on the protests or to go to a place of business and interview employees. But I expected that the courts would justly adjucate.
Covid really took the shine off my national pride. Our country, our branches of government are rotting. And we are serfs without any say or power.
