Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster.
The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 151 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

You’re a better person than I am. Last night I was shooting 2 racoons trying to get into my chicken pen last night. They had already killed 2 hens this week. Hopefully those coons hadn’t told any friends and my remaining 2 hens will be safe now.

Just trying to fend for themselves and family. Chickens in pens look like easy pickings to them. They are like any species trying to get food. Like bears that raid just about any human source of foods. They are actually very clever animals and know how to make the most of what they can get.
I get why you did what you did though. The poor chickens didn’t have a chance if not for some help. Time to add to the flock again! I love watching chickens and they provide bug proofing services and great eggs! We can’t have them legally where I live, unfortunately.

Absolutely. Delaying the proper authorizations to live and work in the United States brings on untold human misery.
I lived in AZ for eight years. Many of the Mexican people lived and worked there for many years without applying for citizenship. Orders were given that employers would be fined $250,000 if found they were employing undocumented workers.
Overnight they were in dire straits. Some tried moving to CA but returned because of the
conditions there were worse. Remember, these are Mexicans with children. Even the Catholic church and cemeteries had to dismiss competent workers because of the delay. It was all about feeling they were betraying their country if they sought citizenship.
In the end, they resorted to consultations with immigration attorneys to help them with their plight. Don’t know where they obtained the funds for this, however.
Maybe during that 24 year period she should have made some sort of effort to make her stay legal. Was she still flying the Mexican flag the whole 24 years?
Prob.. She needed to go. And all the eloyers whom hired her investigated and fined.
Did she vote? Did she collect benefits of any kind including education? What other laws did she break aside from crossing our border illegally?

If so, she should definitely be deported; and if she voted, perhaps some jail time would also serve her well.
How many freebies did she collect over her 24 years? Food stamps, housing, free medical care, birthing children who got free citizenship, chain migration so that they could all get on the US dole, HUD loans, driver’s license (which means that she is no longer “undocumented”), and more.
I agree with you. She could have applied to become a farm worker and then gotten her paperwork in order. Of course, that means that any kids you birth are citizens of MX and not US “citizens”. She would still be “subject to” MX. That’s why they don’t do legal paperwork.

They know how many guest workers they need in ag, but don’t give out enought guest worker visas to fill the requirement. The entire immigration/visa system is broken, and needs to be addressed as a whole, WAY beyond just throwing out some bad guys.
Of course, we all know why they don’t give out enough temporary ag visas. Big Ag is addicted to cheap illegal labor and doesn’t want the current system to stop. More visas means more UNION workers and they can’t have THAT.
So, that’s the problem. I’m not sure the solution is raiding farms and processing plants until there is a full comprehensive solution in place. Otherwise, you’re just shutting them down because there’s no one else to do the work at this point. Raiding them may make the mob cheer, but just adds to the problem.
Trapper, I’m not so sure that’s the case as far as “there’s no one else to do the work at this point.” Sounds like there are a lot of willing Americans and legal immigrants who are lining up for those jobs that they have been excluded from, like at this meatpacking plant. Also, companies are finding that when they offer decent wages, benefits, and working conditions, more Americans will come and work for them.
Illegal aliens were entitled to (or took) all kinds of benefits that made up for the lower wages that businesses and farms paid them — benefits that our own citizens couldn’t get. If you stop running your business like a sweatshop, and everyone is forced to hire legal America workers with a level playing field, you might find the forgotten men and women beating a path to your door.

The effectiveness of GBU-57s has been a topic of deep contention at the Pentagon since the start of Trump’s term, according to two defense officials who were briefed that perhaps only a tactical nuclear weapon could be capable of destroying Fordow because of how deeply it is buried.
Trump is not considering using a tactical nuclear weapon on Fordow and the possibility was not briefed by defense secretary Pete Hegseth and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff Gen Dan Caine in meetings in the White House situation room, two people familiar with the matter said.

If a GBU 57 can penetrate 200 feet and the enrichment machinery is 2400 feet down, then we are talking at least a dozen at each site. With a sprawling subterranean site, it may take many dozens of GBU 57s to ensure success.
As an alternative, cut off Iran’s oil and see how long they last.
That’s assuming they all went down the same hole, which is highly unlikely.
If the equipment is 2400′ down, they need to physically take control of the access and ventilation shafts.
Can’t 200 feet down damage any ways of getting anything in or out anymore to those deep sites? Surely that would cause great issues with maintaining and running them? Sending a few more of those bombs across a wider area could widen the scope of the damages to any access points, etc perhaps? I really am just asking because I don’t have any real knowledge on the logistics of these weapons and how they can be used.
It seems that it only needs to penetrate to 300 feet. A single B2 could carry the necessary load.

This attack on Iran by Israel was brilliant, and was planned for years, some say since 2017 or earlier. There is a strong possibility that Israel can finish the job on its own, which would be the best possible outcome for Israel and the United States. Sunni muslim neighbors like Saudi Arabia are also (secretly) hoping for the defeat of Iran. For them, it is like having a crazy uncle living in the basement who is obsessed with explosives, a real and constant threat.
Supreme leader Khamenei is reported to be having a mental breakdown. The leadership is nearly exterminated. What remains a mystery to me is why President Trump still legitimizes the Iranian regime, speaking as if it is still intact and even capable of negotiating a deal.
I also hope both the US and Israel will not intrude into whatever process the Iranian people take to form their nation.

All the market indicators are pointing towards lowering the interest rate, but for “some reason” Powell resists lowering them.
What appears to be obvious is that “something” other than market conditions is keeping Powell from lowering the rates.
Maybe we need to ask why? Who benefits from these higher interest rates/not lowering the interest rates? Cui bono?
When playing in a rigged game, the best way to expose the rigging is to make the rigging so obvious that the referee gets exposed and forced to adjust his calls accordingly.
That’s what we are witnessing here.

You can blame it on whoever you want but, Janet Yellen financed the debt on short term notes so they all came due the same time the longer term debts came due. There is a huge debt pile to be refinanced. Whether it was a plan to bankrupt the country, hamstring President Trump, force up interest rates for Soros or whoever to make billions (I think someone lowered our credit rating lately) or whatever, it is a big long-term plan that has been in place for a while that President Trump is having to deal with.
And Bessent has continued Yellen’s policy and even increased financing with more short term notes. to the highest level ever. That is why President Trump is in panic mode. If energy soars over Iran and the debt explodes over the BBB the economy is in real trouble.

Low interest rates will just continue to reward bad spending behavior. For almost 15 years we had “free” money in America. This did nothing but fuel an inflated stock market, bad corporate behavior, ballooning personal debt, and out of control government spending. It also severely punished families that lived responsibly by devaluing their savings. It’s especially hard on retired folks as the dividend income they counted on to supplement their retirement had no earning power.
Interest rates today are at a happy place and need to basically stay where they are. Trump wants a big stock market run-up for headlines so he can bloviate. I want a stable, long-term economy based on sensible financial metrics not “free” money for all of the out of control spenders.
Powell might be a political animal, but Trump needs to shut his pie-hole about lower interest rates. He’s dead wrong.

Take this for what it’s worth — Back in the 90s I was an engineer for a semiconductor company making chips specifically for military applications — missiles, bombs, fighter jets, and some space applications.
One manager was Iranian, and after a reorganization I was working for him. He immediately began asking me to falsify documentation and cut corners on quality control, and I found out he had been doing the same with others for years. I refused and was laid off almost right away, which I also learned was his M.O for anyone who wouldn’t cut quality. Eventually after someone filed ethics complaints he was reassigned.

3 years ago I was the only one of extended family who stayed away. Some will say why didn’t you do it for the kids and grandchildren.
I did, by staying away. And saved 3-400 bucks.
Truthfully, I wonder at times if Disney’s time has come and gone. It was incredibly unique and exciting …everyone’s dream to go to Disneyland. (My mother, brother and I picked berries all summer shortly after it started to have enough money to drive 1000 miles, stay with relatives and sleeping on the floor to go to Disneyland.)
Sorry…hit “send” too soon. The point is, now there are family entertainment parks everywhere, hopefully without the woke agenda, and I seriously wonder if Disney World would even be missed (except by all the surrounding businesses).
I lived quite close to Disney world as it was being built and they offered various local groups in-depth tours at the time to “appease the natives.” We even toured the hidden underground pathways to service everything. I recall the emphasis was on family experiences, keeping the price of food very modest and a clean, fun environment appealing to the young and young at heart. Even to be an employee was a dream come true because you were part of the magic. Employees had strict appearance rules…haven’t been there in years but somehow assume they no long exist!
I agree. They have played out their classic themes and distorted them so that they are boring and old. Their attempts at new themes have been pathetic. Young children don’t watch the movies or read the old Disney products and the new ones are lame. Couple all that with their dive into wokeness, the outrageous prices they are charging while reducing services at their parks and resorts and it shows that they are failing spectacularly.

It is a number of things including price, stagnant themes and characters, competition from some very forward thinking competitors like Universal’s new theme park and refusing to listen to their core customers on the wokeness agenda that Disney allowed to take over their management and products.

Their pricing is kinda panic stricken because they need so much money to run all their different segments and the parks were their go to piggy bank. Customers are looking for new fresh themed venues for family vacations and those places are out there.
The Disney magic has worn off and they are losing their repeat customers. Disney management dropped the ball years ago and has had little creative inventiveness that people are interested in now. Disney is old, stale and very expensive. So is their bet on Star Wars being the go to theme which failed quite thoroughly under their lack of creativity. A bad combination for a successful business going forward.
Add in right now that June is a certain month which celebrates at Disney openly now and yes, it takes a toll on family attendance, along with really higher prices and less services for the money. I wonder if Disney won’t be sold or at least partially sold this year.
20 years ago, my wife and I took our children to Disney World. Though we all had fun, it was incredibly expensive and many of the rides, especially Epcot and Disney, were extremely dated. Like, 1970s dated.
There are so many more modern and less expensive options now for families nation-wide. Regional amusement parks, water parks, zipline adventures, hiking, rafting, snorkling/scuba, biking, skiing, and international adventures (which usually cost less than many of the domestic options for families).
When our adult kids list their favorite vacation memories of their childhood, Disney doesn’t even make their Top 10.

Side note… and totally anecdotal
I have known many Iranian people over the years. The are both extremely intelligent and kind, in my experience. They also tend to be very secular, if not non-religious altogether. I have endless reservations about the actions of Israel. Whether it is justified or not, we will likely never know. However, my greatest wish is for the Iranian people to be freed of the tyranny of the Mullahs and Islam. If the actions of Israel achieve that, I will gladly accept that it was necessary. I hope that the Iranian people have a bright and better future.
I am seeing videos from Iranians that totally support Israel’s actions and are baffled by liberal Americans who are supporting the Iranian oppressors of the largely secular people.
