Elon and President Trump , we need all of the freedom loving people at the ramparts of unity against the Uniparty.
Elon, you were much loved by MAGA for what you did for the movement at a moment of crisis. Do not desert us now, we have two champions of this movement. President Trump, champion of all time and his once good friend yourself . Both champions are extremely intelligent and albeit very wealthy. Both had businesses that suffered great losses because of their championship of the middle and working class.
We are not in high school anymore. The adversaries against the revival of the economy have managed to save and gain seats in both chambers. Their cunning ways run deep and by not cutting as much as both would like, have managed to manipulate a breach in friendship. This is not a new phenomenon, it is politics.
Both the Senate and the House knew what they were doing with all the pork spending. These were the poison pills in the bill put in on purpose. Unfortunately, the President only has the power of veto when it comes to the budget and there are those in both houses that will unify to override the veto. They see two extraordinary people that are very powerful together and they are trying to assert their own dominance over them. As I said, politics.
President Trump has a lot of his promises covered in this Big Beautiful Bill regardless of the poison pill pork spending. He has to work within his Constitutional powers, which means there are things out of his control.
Elon, I really admire you but, your anger was directed at the wrong person. Perhaps being on the outside, temporarily, would give you the opportunity to work on replacing those people that are ignoring America’s fiscal problems for power, helping the MAGA movement to find good candidates.
Unfortunately Elon, you crossed the rubicon calling for impeachment and hinting at the Epstein scandal involving President Trump. That assertion has been covered and answered already. By the way, are you involved, that would be the only way you would know who else is perhaps. You may not be friends with President Trump, but, if you think that millions of MAGA people would follow you over President Trump, I recommend you reevaluate your standing at present.
I still admire you in many ways, be strong, admit you were over the line and pick up the great work where you left off. Perhaps reconciliation will come later if you do. Time is a great healer.

Nowadays, we have 10 year old girls who are menstruating. Forty years ago that was not the case.

There have been ongoing questions over the July recording, which was initially deemed missing and then was said to have been located by jail staff.
A letter filed by Assistant US Attorneys Jason Swergold and Maurene Comey said “the footage contained on the preserved video was for the correct date and time, but captured a different tier than the one where Cell-1 was located“, New York City media report.“The requested video no longer exists on the backup system and has not since at least August 2019 as a result of technical errors.”
The request for the video was made by a lawyer for Nicholas Tartaglione, a former New York police officer who shared a cell with Epstein in July and is charged with homicide in an unrelated case.
The attorney argued the video could show his client had acted “admirably”, possibly helping Epstein.

I played around the other day on a website where you can ask questions of AI ….. was impressed to a degree but formulate your question in different ways and it will contradict it’s own answers. In other words you can trip it up so to speak. I was curious about a chronic pain treatment I had researched a while back. Treatment that has been used for 20 years in Europe called Procaine infusion therapy all data reports good results. AI came back with same search results.
I also asked if Procaine infusion therapy was used in the US and where. It named off more or less these spa type clinics. I asked question .. how does PIT as a treatment for chronic pain compare to other known treatments for pain. It went on to say, compared to other treatments such as massage therapy , exercise, (well anyone with chronic pain knows you get little to no relief from those mentioned), AI answered PIT was not as effective…..OK…..So the answers range from good results to having less results than therapies that provide no relief.
I also asked questions where AI answers contained political bias. So I am thinking, is this another oversold hoax to manipulate us like a more sophisticated climate change hoax , COVID hoax? Is AI another NAFTA only this time they are telling you in advance you will lose your job and nothing we can do about it……Does this kind of hubris …..come from the proven fact that we will go along with what ever we are told to do (COVID)?

The essence of a “Republic” is that sovereign power is exercised by Representatives elected, directly or indirectly, by The People. 1
Election fraud strikes at the heart of our Constitutional Republic. Therefore, Congress, the federal courts and the Executive Branch [i.e., the “United States”] have the duty, imposed by Article IV, §4, to negate the fraud in order to preserve our republican form of government.
As shown below, the States also have authority to remedy the election fraud committed in their State.

At Title 3, US Code, §§ 1-21 [link], Congress implemented the constitutional provisions.
Congress understood there would be fights in the States over the selection of the Electors. So they provided for the fights:

At 3 USC §1, Congress set November 3 as the date for appointing the Electors in the States.
But the next two Sections address what happens when Electors aren’tappointed on November 3.
B.
Article II, §1, clause 4, US Constit., gives Congress authority to determine the Date on which the electors vote:
So we see that flexibility to deal with fights in the States over the selection of Electors is built into the US Code.
C.
Now we get to the counting of the Electors’ Votes in Congress: 3 USC §15 says Congress is to meet on January 6 to count the votes. The President of the Senate [Mike Pence] presides. He is to call for objections to the votes. The rest of §15 and §§16-18 deal with handling the objections in Congressrespecting the Electors’ votes.
So the statutory framework recognizes that selecting the Presidential Electors can get messy; and that there would be fights over the Electors in the States and in Congress. We are working through this process right now.
4. Congress has the power to determine whether the President elect and Vice President elect are qualified for office.
Section 3 of the 20th Amendment shows that Congress has the authority to determine whether the President elect and Vice President elect are qualified for office. 2 If either is not a natural born citizen, Congress has the power and the duty to disqualify that person. 3 Accordingly, it was Congress’ duty to inquire into whether Obama was a natural born citizen; and today it is Congress’ duty to inquire into whether Kamala Harris is a natural born citizen.
Congress also has the power – and the duty – to disqualify Biden and Harris on the ground that the fraud bringing about their sham “election” was an attack on the States’ Right, guaranteed by Article IV, §4, to have a republican form of government.
5. Election Fraud is a federal crime
It is the DUTY of the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute the election fraud. It is disgraceful that they have done nothing.
6. The Duty of the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court is surely aware of its Duty, imposed by Article IV, §4, US Constitution, to guarantee to the States a republican form of government where Representatives are elected by The People – and not by corrupt politicians who pay for massive organized election fraud and cheating.
While the Supreme Court obviously cannot enforce its own rulings and must depend on the Executive Branch of the federal government to enforce them; 4 the Supreme Court must issue an Opinion consistent with Article IV, §4, which, when enforced by the Executive Branch of the federal government, solves the present crisis.
7. The State Legislatures should appoint replacement Electors
It is clear that State Legislatures have the power to ignore the fraudulent election and appoint a new set of Presidential Electors. Such is consistent with the Constitution and the statutory scheme laid out in 3 USC §§1-21. Furthermore, the Supreme Court has already acknowledged that State Legislatures may do this.
REMEMBER that Article II, §1, clause 2, US Constitution, says Electors are to be appointed “in such Manner as the State Legislatures” may direct.
Originally, Electors were generally chosen by the State Legislatures. In McPherson v. Blacker, decided 1892 [link], the Supreme Court gave the history of how each State Legislature chose their Electors since the first presidential election. It was only later that State Legislatures began to provide for the popular election of the Presidential Electors.
Congress expressly recognizes that State Legislatures may resume at any time the power to select the Electors. Remember that 3 USC §2, says,
Additionally, in Bush v. Gore, decided 2000 [link], the Supreme Court said that the State Legislature’s power to select the manner for appointing electors is plenary; it may, if it chooses, select the Electors itself; and even after granting the franchise to the People to select the Electors, State Legislatures can resume the power at any time.
So yes, in States where the election was stolen, the State Legislatures may – and should – reassume their plenary power to select the Electors. America urges the State Legislators to be bold and do what is right.
8. Warning
Republican establishment cowards who refuse to confront and defeat the election fraud don’t seem to understand the consequences of their refusal to man up and fight the fraud. Our Country is right now in the process of being overthrown and taken over by profoundly evil people. You better fight while we still can.

The Republicans are describing tax increases as tax cuts and increased budgets as spending cuts. They think we are stupid.
Most of the cuts in The Big Beautiful Bill are loaded into years five thru ten. This Congress cannot bind a future Congress to their out-year spending cuts. These cuts will never happen. We’ve seen this movie before. The cuts have to be front-loaded.
If I take away one of your tax deductions, that is a tax increase. Reducing your SALT deduction is a tax increase.

Between 90-95%+ of tax payers do NOT even have close to having enough deductions to equal or exceed the Standard Deductions in order to claim any deductions. Plus, the standard deductions have been increased over the past 8 years … year over year .. which IS a TAX Cut.
Since 2017, year over year, the adjustments in the TAX Tables have FAVORED the Tax Payer … which IS a TAX Cut
The only people impacted are among the TOP 5% of earners and the SALT deduction is peanuts for them.

The Big Beautiful Bill is a type of bill called a reconciliation bill. DOGE cuts cannot be included in a reconciliation bill. The upside of this type of bill though is it allows for passage with a simple majority vote (without Dem support).
While DOGE cuts and many other types of cuts cannot be part of a reconciliation bill, they can be put into either the budget bill when it comes up in September, or in a rescission bill after Aug 18th.
The Big Beautiful Bill via reconciliation is a huge win for codifying a breathtaking number of MAGA agendas in law. We want as much of MAGA priorities as possible set in cement, into law, no matter who wins in 2028 or later. BBB does this.

The quarterly QCEW and Business Employment (BED)reports represent a 96 percent sample. But those reports lag by about 5 months.

Yes, a lot of good people, Russian citizens, were either killed in the Revolution or driven off their land and many of my neighbors, and my own family, come from that persecution and purge. When my youngest graduated Azusa Pacific University in 2019 I took the opportunity to go to the County Records office for a copy of my divorces decree. Good thing I took the tram for I don’t think any car would have been safe down there. Even though it was just before noon the walk from the tram to the county off was so scary. The whole area was almost solid homeless tents and shelters. Never did like my time in the LA area but Downtown was crazy then & crazier now. Pity the city workers that have to work in that area.
Then later that year I visited with my daughter & we went sight seeing a bit in San Francisco . As most know I lived in San Francisco in the 50s. Now, I can’t even believe people even live in that city, especially with the high cost of housing.

From what I read almost all the “spending” in the BBB is the making the 2017 tax cuts permanent. CBO estimates the tax cuts will spend $3.8 – $4.6 trillion. All the talk about “pork” but what you can label as pork accounts for less than 1% of the bill. The biggest driver by far is the tax cuts…do we want to let those expire? I know the democrats do. Am I missing something here?

People do not understand that budget lines have a BUILT IN 10% increase year over year, which are defended tooth and nail, by BOTH Parties. Again, these are NOT PORK, per the classic definition of term.
Plus, the CBO is biased and notoriously over estimates “costs” they do not like by 50-100%.
Ignore the DOLLAR VALUES associated with DOGE … the structural and actual budget line reductions as well as removals have the TRILLION in savings promised by Musk … the CONGRESS, including ALL those faux Budget Hawks don’t have the guts to make the changes. Note, 60 VOTES are not needed to get things done if the Republicans change the RULES in the House and Senate.
The necessary cuts and off sets exist .. all that is lacking is the will to make the changes.
