FBI Director Kash Patel notes in his interview with Joe Rogan that he only takes the time for one media interview per month and this long-form interview format is his first endeavor. Director Kash Patel is happy to “finally get to join” Joe Rogan and do something “he has wanted to do since even before, on the campaign trail.”
Director Patel notes in the beginning that several FBI officials have told him they are happy about his arrival as they endeavor to catch more bad guys. According to Patel he replies to them “great, because I don’t know how to do that stuff,” and the agents appreciate his empowerment. The FBI Director then proceeds to outline the priorities of the FBI under his tenure.
The interview took place yesterday amid the social media blow-up between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. When asked for his opinion, Patel notes, “that’s out of my lane.” A former federal public defender, national security prosecutor, and senior official in both the Department of Justice and the Trump administration, Director Patel has held roles across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and National Security Council. Nothing about Patel, including what I can discern about his background, or his weird demeanor, now that he’s on my radar, impresses me at all. I’m not sure why he was so supported into this role. I watched part of the interview, mostly re Epstein, and it sounded to me like the bleatings of a defensive incompetent who really doesn’t know what he’s doing and is most concerned about deflecting criticisms of himself.

They have taken exception measures to publicly tell us what is and what is not in the confidential files they have personally viewed in their official capacity. We should listen very carefully to what they did and did not say.
There may be things not yet in the file as viewed and publicly discussed. I suspect there are. There is plenty of room for additional facts to be added to the file as it now is. There is no telling what may yet be found and included. So much has been squirreled-awy under the Mueller, Wray and Comey eras.
Not saying to give them a pass. Just saying the file is not yet complete and there remain plenty of questions and collateral issues that are not yet ripe that may also intersect the Epstein-Brennan-Haspel nexus.
We have certainly not seen the last of this. I suspect we have not yet seen the half of it.

The most honest response was describing the FBI as the ‘Gong Show’. At the end of the interview Patel felt comfortable enough to share it with Joe Rogan. Once he said it he had to back up and be the head cheerleader again.

I didn’t watch. There are some podcasts of Rogan I have enjoyed watching. Being a former supporter of Kash and seeing the deception of his since appointed Director makes him unlistenable.
He still has not restored ONE of the FBI whistleblowers. I believe the one whistleblower (can’t remember his name but he does a podcast with Steve Friend) has not been terminated yet by the FBI and he has not been paid for at least 2 years. He’s the one where the FBI transferred him to the DC area and once there suspended him. His wife was due with a baby, the FBI hijacked their belongings and paid no moving expenses. So – baby due any day, no place to live and no household belongings.

I love how everyone wants justice in a few months time. Crimes have been committed for YEARS and people think it can be solved in two weeks at the most. It will take time to unravel everything and set the traps. I am still willing to give these people a chance. If we have no answers, no arrests, and nothing changes in three and a half years, then I will be partly disappointed. At least someone is starting to try to clean up the corruption in congress and agencies.

Regarding Epstein what are Patel and Bongino really going to know besides what they have read, outside journalism and inside the FBI files.
They weren’t at the prison at the time of Epstein’s death and none of us were either.
There could be a “whistleblower” that has knowledge of the event. Patel and Bongino could be burying that but again it’s all speculation.
It is all the circumstantial evidence which adds up to……you are naive if you believe suicide.

During a time when so many liars are telling so many lies I wonder how Kash came to be given a job where the restoration of truth is so critically needed. Somehow Kash never looks like he’s telling the truth. This is unfortunate. When flanked by a shifty-looking Bongino it makes things look worse, almost to the extent of where the truth doesn’t matter because neither of them appears to be believable. Frequent TV appearances don’t help at all. It maximises the impression that poor judgment is being exercised on many levels.
