Senators apparently are actually moving in the right direction to IMPROVE the budget bill. From an article interview with Senator Mike Lee in Daily Caller:
“At the moment, no. In fact, there’s no chance it could pass the Senate right now, but we do have two legislative chambers. It’s passed the House, come over to the Senate. The Big, Beautiful Bill is big isn’t yet as beautiful as it needs to be, but there’s still time to fix it. And the Senate version is going to be more aggressive,” Lee told Kirk. “It can and I think it has or else it’s not going to pass. Now, look, the Republicans in the House gave us some good wins. This bill extends the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to make sure that we don’t end up with a $4 trillion tax bomb going off and exploding in front of the American people, it helps to revitalize the military, it funds the completion of the southern border wall, helps fund the crackdown on illegal immigration. Those are all great things.”
However, the senator told Kirk the bill does not sufficiently mitigate government spending.
“We’ve gotta deliver more than that though. And we increased spending by like 58% just our last five years, just since the pandemic. So we got to address the spending crisis to a greater degree than this bill does,” he said. “Under this bill, under the CBO [Congressional Budget Office] projections, we’re still looking at $2.2 trillion a year on average in deficits over the next ten years. That’s not good enough. We gotta get to a point where we can balance it during this president’s time in office.”
GOP Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rand Paul of Kentucky are also among the fiscal hawks affecting the deliberations regarding spending deficits. Johnson noted Lee and Scott as senators who are seeking additional spending cuts in the bill.
“If they brought it to the floor like right now, there’s not a chance it’ll get the 51 votes it needs … Look, we all know we have to balance the budget,” Scott told Kirk. “Look, we know that it’s getting harder to sell our treasuries, we know interest rates are going up. We want to get interest rates down, we can get inflation under control. That means balance the budget.”
Washington is suicidal, which makes it tough to deal with the fact that $2.2T deficits will lead to economic collapse.
It’s like dealing with that spouse who is an out of control spender and credit card abuser. And you’re sitting there looking at the bills and interest payments and late fees while the other person grabs their keys and announces, “I’m going shopping!”

At day 131, it is time to recognize the hard working, successful members of President Trump’s 2024 campaign team ……… those who were hard core MAGA / America First from DAY 1 and even those who were (and still are) RINOs who put aside their misguided, ingrained RINO policy positions to support President Trump’s election for the good of the USA.
The MAGA / America First members are going full speed ahead, knowing the work that they must do to defeat the democrat’s and RINO’s policies in the house and senate and to defeat the democrats and RINOs members in 2026 to turn the house and senate into mega-MAGA / America First majorities.
As for the current RINO members of the administration staff, it is becoming awkward to say the least. Their loyalty was not in doubt through 1/20/25 but they are now being torn between President Trump’s marching orders and their personal beliefs.
They have lost their momentum to continue to support President Trump and in some cases they are making moves to hurt his administration.
President will not throw them under the bus because he knows they were 100% loyal in their job to get him elected.
But, it would be unfair to his MAGA / America First supporters and all Americans to have RINOs in key positions in this administration, working against his plans and promises he made to the American citizens.
A solution would be to give them the opportunity to transfer over to his “library team” that will be heavily involved in telling his campaign story and designing his presidential library, but not involved in current administration activities.
Of course, some will take the transfer and some will just leave the administration with a well earned recommendation letter from President Trump recognizing their involvement in the successful 2024 campaign.
It is time to shed the current RINOs from his staff, especially those at a senior level. It is just the right thing to do and time is of the essence.

Tyson employs very poor foreigners to pluck chickens and slaughter. I think from the Solomon Islands? I forget. About 7 years ago a lot of babies were in adoption circuit for cash (trafficked) – a nice but desperate & unwise couple I know bought a son this way – shady and the brokering attny has since been prosecuted. Baby has tons of health problems from birth mother working in horrible conditions and no prenatal. I shudder to think about what is going on at Tyson and the thought of eating food from there makes me gag.
Regarding country of origin – a large portion of U.S. produced meat is shipped overseas and its replaced by imports from nations whose standards are much lower.
In essence, foreigners get the best meat (US meat) and we get the worst meat (foreign) in most grocery stores.
It’s yet another reason to buy direct from local ranchers and farmers or raise your own.
I believe Tyson was the very first company to offer Hillary Clinton, then the wife of the sitting Governor, a seat on their Board, which, of course, came with a nice little paycheck…she eventually ended up on half a dozen or so boards, and by some strange coincidence, all of those companies received very favorable treatment from the State of Arkansas!

That’s a true statement Betsy, my friend. A family member was terminated by such an “end of life care” decision by doctors before anyone that was aware of what was actually happening could stop it. It happens with a much higher frequency than most people realize and it has accelerated since 2020. Some cases are direct termination by drugs. Some are indirect termination by refusal to actually provide proper medical care. A lot of doctors are nothing more than evil ghouls and pill pushers. Had one tell me, “Better life through chemistry” one time regarding my own health. *spit*

Whether or not we reach the time and place we envision and regardless of our path to our next destination whatever it may be, we can rest assured that throughout the journey that our Lord and Savior will be with us and if we remain open to it, His Holy Spirit at times will even guide us, as His Word always does.
If we’re blessed, we may even be presented opportunities to do His work, plant or fertilize His seeds of knowledge and salvation and/or help others on their journey through life. If we keep our senses and minds open, we may also enjoy and be inspired by the beautiful universe He created.
However, none of us is promised a tomorrow here on earth. If one accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior they are promised something much more precious and eternal though. All should make the most of our here and now, taking it not for granted or allowing what may or may not come to unduly burden us – and to give thanks for the moments we’re granted and shared.

Long ago a relative by marriage was in terrible pain and dying from melanoma. The doctor in whose charge she was told this woman’s daughter he wouldn’t prescribe more pain meds because, and I quote, “she might become addicted”.
He was fired on the spot.
The doctor she turned to told her he would prescribe but it was to be understood that with the amounts she needed there was a risk of death. Her daughter, who had been listening to her mother in unremitting agony did not hesitate and gave him the go ahead. Her mother died not immediately but peacefully. Grief? Yes, of course…
But peace in knowing that her elderly mother, who was leaving this world anyway, didn’t spend her last days screaming.
There is nothing certain in the practice of medicine. One would pray to have a physician whose compassion and knowledge outweigh virtue signalling which has no place in medicine. One who informs family or patient of options and allows them to make choices….not for death, but for relief. Alas, there are very few of those as we’ve shockingly discovered over the past years. I’m not so naïve to believe decisions like this aren’t made every day in every hospital.
Refusal of care happens. It happens in Britain to this day via the withholding of food and water. A more inhumane to usher someone out the door I cannot think of.
Death by hospital, insurance companies, or governments should not be up for discussion. Unfortunately we have left the world of doctor/patient relationships and ended up here…with Illinois and other states. Canada is further down the road of depravity, now permitting minor children to choose “MAID” without the consent of their parents. Imagine, for example, a depressed teen, being coerced by telling them in effect that the world would be better without them. Sheer Mengeleian horror.
Canada didn’t begin there. It began with Illinois-like legislation, and it progressed accordingly as these things wearing a grotesque mask of “compassion” always do.

Harrison it has gotten much worse under Obamacare…….witnessed it with MIL and Dad. when Medicare limits are reached they cut off any life saving procedures, medications and especially rehab, which is pitiful. When you are of a certain age ….they don’t want to waste the money time or effort.
My Dad who was physically and mentally sound fell and injured neck. Should have received extensive rehab but instead received same 1 hour 3 times a week and only 30 minutes was for physical. This is basically standard rehab for the elderly. So we watched as he languished in a bed under nursing home care for 7 months until his death.
The only reason they didn’t take all his assets and put a lien on his home was he died before he was made to move from medicare to medicaid. Just something to look forward to…then you die. Something I am sure Congress has exempted themselves from.
In 2002 my mother was 79, had been on Medicaid for a long time and was a patient in a nursing home. My brother (who lived in the same town and watched after her) told me Medicaid was removing her from her medication because ‘she wasn’t going to get any better’ and she passed away in October, two months later.

China has no intention of honoring anything that they sign. They tell you what you want to hear and will agree to some type of framework, because they know they will violate it anyway. Now everyone in the administration will be stunned that China has violated the preliminary agreement, despite them violating every agreement they’ve ever signed with us. Nixon says he just wanted to strengthen the CIA by getting rid of some of the deadwood, 1/3 of the CIA’s manning and that they KNEW he planned that, but instead “Unfortunately, it (the CIA) was castrated in the post-Watergate era.”

Not said, but included in their predatory practices are the law suits and multi-billion dollar fines that are used to drain profit from US companies and put it into the coffers of the globalists’ greedy little hands. Just another example of how the EU and other areas suck on the teat of American excellence.
